Paragraph Border rendering is filled in black -- randomly.
For two years now, paragraphs with double lines and a fill between the lines render as solid black randomly when building PDF output for printing. It's usually the first paragraph border that is rendered incorrectly, and if the PDF is recreated again and again, eventually an error-free PDF is produced.

All versions of InDesign, including the latest as of March 28 2023.

window gets stuck at the bottom
I'm on the latest version of Dreamweaver v.18 on Mac Ventura 13.4.1
Everytime I zoom in the window gets stuck at the bottom and stops scrolling. I can scroll left and right but not up.. I have attached a screenrecording .. Please help1 vote -
Preview settings are not beeing saved anymore
For years I set my preview size to 1024x1024px, which is the largest option. Since InDesign 18.2.1 the preview size setting resets itself after a restart of InDesign to 512x512px.

Text disappears when creating buttons if text wrap is on
I am using the lastest version of Adobe InDesign 18.5
Try to create a button including a more than one text box. Nothing overlaps. The text boxes have text wrapping applied. Group the elements and create button.
Create a "rollover" appearance state.
The text will disappear as if something is causing it to wrap and there is not room for the text even though there is nothing for the text to wrap around.
The text should not disappear when creating buttons using text boxes that include a text wrap.

Opening file in Indesign 2023 will not show file window without resetting workspace layout
When I initially startup my adobe indesign 2023 program and open a file from either the recent documents or drop down toolbar, the file window does not appear. It appears as if nothing has been opened. If I then select window > workspace > essentials (or any other saved workspace layout), the file window will appear.
If I have a file already open and is visible, I can open an additional file and it appear. It is only when I do not have a visible file window that this occurs. Therefore, if I was to close this file window and…

Previews are blank
Switching on preview mode yields blank designs (artboards go totally white). Document previews in Mac finder also blank. Design mode appears normal and documents are saving fine.

Swatches panel missing options at the bottom
The swatches panel usually has buttons for "New swatch", "Delete Swatch" etc at the bottom. These are missing since the latest Indesign update.

font menu scroll is jumpy and unresponsive on M1 MBP 16" / MacOS 13
Bug: Scrolling the font menu in indesign is jumpy and somewhat unresponsive at times on M1 MacBook Pro / MacOS 13.
It's hard to illustrate with video recording, so I do hope you test this.

Links panel does not sort sublinks logically
I have linked a file with some 120 pages to document. When I sort links panel by name, "sublinks" are sorted in mess:
doc:1, doc:10, doc:101, doc:2, doc:21
instead of normal number order
doc:1, doc:2, doc:10, doc:21, doc.101.Indesign 18.4

Fit Frame to Content multicolumn text frame
InDesign 18.3 but has been doing this for many years.
Draw a single column text frame next to a multicolumn text frame, have the same number of lines in both frames, apply Fit Frame to Content with any method to both frames, they will most likely not be the same height. You can change the width of the multicolumn frame and then Fit Frame to Content might get closer.
Should be the same height if all text styling is the same.

InDesign Tool Flyout Menu on Wrong Monitor
I am working in InDesign 18.5.0.57 on a 2019 MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.3.1.
I have three external monitor, two 24-in. DELL monitors, and one 25-in. ASUS monitor, configured as InDesign-Tool-Flyout-01.jpg shows.My problem is the InDesign tool flyout menus popup on my laptop screen rather than the center upper monitor as shown in InDesign-Tool-Flyout-02.jpg

Searching for GREP in long documents (hundreds of pages) = crash of ID
Searching for GREP symbols like ~M or ~P in Find/Change GREP window, in long documents, makes continuous crash of ID (18.3, Win).

A simple visual Notificacion of the depending preformatted Styles
As I highlight a character or Paragraph style, I would like to see a bullet on the left side of each style who is based on the currently highlighted style in the Style box.

The shortcut for “Apply default fill and stroke color” doesn’t work as expected.
InDesign 18.5
MacOS 12.6.8To reproduce the issue:
Change the definition of your [Basic Graphic Frame] Style (say Black Fill, No Stroke).
Draw an object, then press the D keyboard shortcut (set to “Apply default fill and stroke color”).
Expected result: [Basic Graphic Frame] style is applied to the object (Black Fill, No Stroke).
Actual result: “No Fill, 1 pt Black Stroke” is applied instead. Impossible to change the definition of “Default Fill and Stroke” applied.1 vote -

Would it be possible to create a shadow style? It would be really helpful to be able to create the shadow you need, and then to be able to quickly apply it across a document(s).
