Gray boxes behind photos in Share for Review
I have been using the new Share for Review for the last little while and am enjoying receiving feedback directly on my documents for import into InDesign. However, I recently went to a published file and noticed that all of the images in my design now have a light gray square behind them. Additionally, the colours and blending on some of the images are all off or look odd. The gray boxes appear on all of my previously uploaded documents, and I've checked from multiple computers and they all appear to show these boxes.
Please refer to this thread for previous discussion: https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/share-for-review-gray-boxes-behind-all-images/m-p/13951228#M534701
- Version 18.4
- Publishing any InDesign file to 'Share for Review'
- Would expect it to appear on the web as it appears in my InDesign program
- Gray boxes appearing behind all photos (especially circular photos) and gradients all look off.
- Attached.
This issue got fixed recently.

We are facing the same issue with all elements (not only images, also vector objects like rectangles) with effects, not only drop shadows but also others like outer glow. In InDesign and Acrobat it looks fine, but not in the review link.

Hi there,
The document is of a confidential nature as it is for my company. Is there any way to share this privately so it's not publicly accessible?
One other thing to note is that someone else had posted they are having the same issue with their images that have a drop shadow associated with them. All of the images in my document with the gray boxes have a drop shadow as well. I wonder if this is the culprit?
