Y coordinates incorrect when pasting objects on pages with different heights
I have several pages with different heights. If I paste an object using "paste in place" from page to page, they do not paste in the correct Y location from the original. However, the X location is correct.

Font errors of Southeast Asian languages such as Myanmar (Burmese) Unicode
1. Version of Adobe InDesign, InCopy or InDesign Server : InDesign CC 2020 15.0.3 / 15.1.1 (Korean)
2. Steps to reproduce the issues : Text deformation, image mislocation, text warp errors occurred when Myanmar (Burmese) Unicode text is used in InDesign CC 2020 version. Some of these errors samely appear in Khmer, Lao and Thai as well. I've tried 'World-Ready Composer' function, 'setting-up the language', changing to language font', but none of them worked.
3. Expected result: It should been shown as '(Expected result) InDesign CC 2020_200731'.

Crash: book-panel shows unopened file as opened, when saving Indesign crashes
I noticed an issue with the book panel.
For some reason sometimes it shows the icon for "file is open" on some files even though they're not opened in Indesign.When I open and want to save them, Indesign want me to define a filelocation again. It seems that Indesign lost the connection to the original file then.
When saving the file (I usually overwrite the existing one) Indesign crashes.

effecten venster: overvloeimodus-keuzemenu verschijnt op ander scherm
Wanneer je in het venster 'effecten' de overvloeimodus wilt kiezen, verschijnt het keuzemenu op het hoofdscherm, terwijl het venster zich op het bijscherm bevindt.

stroke size not matching
In the new InDesign (16.0) stroke sizes don't always match. I can put a 3-point stroke on two different objects and one looks as expected and the other is extremely thin.

Indesign Links not Updating after double clicking
Indesign links not updating even after double clicking the link and the image where the link isn't updated. This used to work as usual in the last versions of CC. Currently using Indesign CC v.16. I have to close the program completely to have the link display correctly.
What I did was: I edited an image with the photoshop clicking in the right-click menu inside Indesign. Then when I came back to indesign it doesn't update. This has happened for the last months.

Measurement tool not working on ID 2021
The measurement tool does not work very well in Indesign 2021. Most of the time there is no reaction to mouse clicks and if you eventually managed to create a measurement line, it is very hard to move the endpoints to a new location.

Inline Text Frame beside another inline Text Frame when Auto-Size
- Make Text Frame and write word "Second".
- Cut the Text Frame.
- Make larger Text Frame and paste the "Second" Text Frame inside.
- Select the character represented the Text Frame copy and paste before without any space between.
- Select the second one change Auto-Size to Height Only.
- Select the first one and change Auto-Size to Height Only.
- Crash!

Unable to Save Document
Indesign 15.1
Opened file I have worked on before. Added some text. Went to 'undo' an action and couldn't with key command or 'Edit>Undo'.
Then thought I would try and close out of Indesign and restart to see if that helped. Tried to save file. Could not save file with key command or 'File>Save'.
Options—Save, Save As, CheckIn, Save A Copy, and Revert—are all grayed out and unusable, as well as many options under the Edit menu as well.-

Reopen last closed/unsaved document(s)
You should be able to reopen the last closed/unsaved document(s) in case you accidentally close a document and click "Don't Save."
The Chrome browser has a similar feature: "reopen closed tabs." And Google Docs allows you to view and restore all previous versions of a document.
With Indesign, if you accidentally click "don't save" the document is gone forever, according to the support person I spoke to. You can't find it in the archive folder and you can't "undo" that either.

The "Object Export Options" menue will not open in german InDesign-Version 16.0.1
Das Kontextmenue "Objekt Exportoptionen" lässt sich nicht öffnen.
Bei einem Click darauf bzw. mit rechter Maustaste ausgewählt, gefriert InDesign ein und crasht.

metadata delimiter
Hello, This is to report an ID behavior that constitutes a bug (to my thinking). This behavior has existed in every version of ID that I'm familiar with from the beginning through CC 2021. Documentation states that you can use any delimiter character you prefer in File Info. But it doesn't tell you that it will change your delimiters to semicolons as soon as you hit OK on the File Info dialog. This has been a thorn in my side for many years. I produce periodical scientific journals using InDesign as my layout tool. And ID is awesome for that.…

Controller skin for embedded video
I've been using InDesign to create PDF publications with embedded videos. When I created them in earlier versions of InDesign there was an option in the Interactive/Media window to choose a controller skin. I'm up to date with InDesign/CC and this has disappeared. The videos still exist in the exported PDF, but there is no obvious way for the end user to play/pause/rewind the video. This is an essential feature for the work I do. What now?
1 voteThe Controller Skins were based on Flash. Now that Flash is EOL, those skins are no longer supported and hence have been removed from the Media panel.

Indesign 16.0 crashes when copying text with anchored object
ID crashes every time I try to copy text that includes an anchored object. As soon as I hit CMD+C, it crashes. I can copy the anchor object separately, but trying to grab it inline with text does not work. I've tried it with multiple different areas of text/objects. This has happened over the last two days, repeatedly, after multiple re-starts and prefs updates. ID 16.0 on MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.7.
EDIT: It seems to be an issue with one specific object. I can't seem to even copy that one by itself without crashing. I'll keep playing around to…1 votePlease submit the crash report to us. Background Task Seems Stuck
When I create a PDF using InDesign presets, the background task indicator keeps spinning and spinning. When I click on the indicator, I get a dialog box that tells me the name of the file that I exported with the status "Complete. See Alert." However, the alert area is empty. The only way to get it to stop, is to quit InDesign and restart.

interface is too big....
1080p, 125% screen setting is in use. (laptop)
Too big an interface for me. Photoshop or illustrator is displayed normally.
But the InDesign interface is too big.

Defining a stroke beginning with a gap does not work
If you define a stroke you can set the length of the first stroke to zero. But as you can see in the screenshot there is still some stroke visible.
Best solution: Make a "zero stroke" possible, a stroke which starts with a gap.
Second best solution: Change the minimum in the "length"-field to something > 0.
