  1. Export PDF doesn't allow "Two-up (Cover Page)" view

    Using InDesign v16.1:
    Export PDF preset "High Quality Print" or "Press Quality" viewing option layout for "Two-up (Cover Page)" is grayed out and unavailable. Though if exporting using preset "Smallest File Size" all options available for the PDF layout.
    For book or brochure PDFs, "Two-up (Cover Page)" is the standard, and it used to be available for all export options.———a bug??

  2. cc libraries unresponsive

    CC Library Panel becomes unresponsive/renders weirdly. Have to quit out and restart. MANY. TIMES. PER. DAY...

  4. Unable to type certain Hebrew letters with Diacritics on Mac

    InDesign

    ID CC 2017-2021; Hebrew (Middle East English)
    Mac 10.14.6

    Description:
    On mac, some letters with diacritics has lost their ability to produce diactritics and no longer work.

    The letters and how to type them with Hebrew script installed on system:
    1. Vav Holam
    2. Vav Shuruk
    3. Shin
    4. Sin
    5. Lamed holam

    An InDesign document is attached with samples and explanations.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. On a mac, add Hebrew Script to you system language.
    2. Open InDesign Middle Eastern Version and create a text box with the a Right to left Text tool.

  5. BUG : Red panels and shifted elements

    It appears randomly, often when I open a second ID file, the first opened get some red panels and all the elements are shifted.
    The only way to solve this for now is to close the document and reopen it.

  8. "comp_core_log" folder is created

    1. Adobe InDesign 16.2.1.102
    2. When the component information dialog is displayed for the first time after launching InDesign.
    3. Just the component information dialog is displayed.
    4. An empty folder named "compcorelog" is created on the desktop.

    This may not be a bug, but deleting an empty folder every time I check the document history is a bit annoying.

  9. InDesign freezes while working with "Scale Tool"

    When using the "Scale Tool", every 4 or 5 times or so the app freezes at the dialog box and there's no way to exit. You have to force quit the app and hope that your work is autosaved. Unacceptable and only started happening recently.

    InDesign 15.1.1 on macOS Mojave 10.14.6

  10. When Find/Change Dialog Box is open, arrow keys move entire text box instead of cursor

    1. Indesign 16.3.2 on macOs Mojave
    2. When i find a word using find/change it gets highlighted. I try to add a punctuation mark after that word and tab the right arrow key.
    3. Arrow key should just move the cursor in text box, next to the highlighted text.
    4. It moves entire text box as if the text box is selected.

  13. Applying a different swatch not always working (bug?)

    It happens every now and then that changing the color of text by selecting the text with the text tool and clicking on the desired swatch does not change anyting. You can select the desired color, but the text color stays the same. It does not seem to be document related and is not always happening. If you use the color picker to select a random color from the document, the problem disappears.   14. tables jumping to next page

    Sometimes tables that fit on one page jumps to the next page causing reflow. It does this randomly and can't figure out why. This has to be caused by bug in indesign. I really wish Adobe would focus more on fixing the many bugs in its programs rather than adding new features.

  15. Two-page paragraph border

    I have a picture and the caption on two differentes pages. I want to draw a line between them. So I use paragraph border. In InDesign, it is OK (see image Dans InDesign.jpg) but in the PDF, the line stops at the edge of the page (see Dans Acrobat.jpg). Somebody says me to generage the PDF with board option. It's a good idea but the printer refuses to use this file.

  16. Export for review problem

    My InDesign is up to date to V16.4

    When i press the share for review option, it stops uploading around 50% and I have the error message in the screenshot. Once I have this error message, the "share for review" options is not available anymore. There is only a blue circle turning for ever.

    I don't know what i am doing wrong as i am following very steps online

  17. Font not appearing

    A font I have installed and previously been able to select in InDesign is now not showing for me on any new document I create. I have updated InDesign and double checked the font (it shows in all other programs) but the only way I can get the font to appear in InDesign is to copy text from another file that has my font in which is not really ideal.
    The font is Raleway.

    I'm Using InDesign 16.3.2 for mac.
    I made some settings für hyphenation but when I export the file to pdf all settings are gone. Please see attached Screenshots
