File saving issue
When we got an software update the biggest issue in indesign is, it does not save the existing file with the new version rather it open a windows to save the file, andI hate it seriously.

Indesign 16.2.1
Indesign 16.2.1 half screen cut red. when adjust windows side by side and then return back, screen cut in half and turn red. After restart it happens again. Whats that? Thanks

Missing highlight, replace, and strikethrough in browser
Highlight, replace text, and strikethrough are missing from Chrome browser. It works in Firefox and Safari. I don't want to force my clients to use a certain browser. I'm using: macOS 10.15.7, ID 2022 (17.0.1), Chrome 97.x, Firefox 95.0.2 and Safari 15.2.
I see this issue has come up for others as well but never really resolved. Please help.1 vote -
Notes anchor marks are rendered incorrectly
When I place a note, it affects the text box as it's rendered as a normal character.
That is - it affects the leading, the spacing, the alignment, etc.For instance, if I have a top-aligned text box with a paragraph with letter size 9pt, and I place a note somewhere in the paragraph - the entire paragraph will shift downward - as the alignment takes the top of the note anchor as the topmost "pixel" in the text box.
There is no way this is desirable. Who would want notes to affect their document layout? So I have to…

Publish Online is a total disappointment
Publish Online is an unreliable source for analytics, one its touted features, and it needs to be resolved immediately.
Here's an idea: make it function in ANY web browser or get rid of it entirely. I don't care if it has a 90-minute lag time, please just start somewhere and fix this issue. I am so unbelievably frustrated that I was able to provide analytics after one hour of publishing my document and now, three days later, nothing appears. When I create a pdf of an indesign file with imported indesign fils, the output get pixelated.

Simple cursor insertion point inaccurate in text
I hover the cursor over the space (between two letters, for example) but the actual insertion point is a letter off, to the left of the intended location.

Multiple PDF export
Hi,
I have a 2020 6 core iMac with 32GB RAM and I was used to do multiple exports to PDF at one time ... I could open up to 4 files and run exports on them and those exports ran at the same time ... more than 4 simultaneous exports did not work, but i was fine with 4 :)
Today I noticed it does not work anymore for me? What happend? I have the latest MacOS 12.1 Monterey and also the latest InDesign ...

Instead of making a new package every time it would be really handy to be able to update an existing package.
proposed Use Case/action:
a new menu item: Update Package… > Show package in Finder/Windows Explorer > Only the items that are not in the existing package will be added (the items in the package that are not used will be kept in the updated package)

My text changes to alternating capital and lower case letters throughout all typed words. It does not change if I have caps lock on the keyboard but will be all caps if I select it on the menu bar. But it still shows red spelling errors with asking to add the work to the dictionary. It is shown in alternating caps/lower case letters there too.

Bug affichage éléments graphiques
Bonjour. Je rencontre un bug d'affichage à l'export avec Publish Online. (cf pj) Je ne sais pour quelle raison sur toutes mes publications, le graphisme est découpé de façon étrange une fois publié, alors que sur le PDF tout est OK... c'est très embêtant car les usagers pensent qu'il y a un problème sur les documents alors que ce n'est pas le cas... Je rentre ce problème depuis plusieurs versions d'InDesign.

Indesign Review Panel cutting off comments from the web app.
My boss is leaving comments in the web application and it gets cut off in the Review Panel in Indesign. Took me a sec to figure out, ended up signing into the web app to find out it wasnt showing me all they said.

InDesign 16.3.2 on Mac: with GPU, won't render images in frames with a fill applied

With "GPU Performance" enabled (or with "GPU Preview" on) images will not render if the containing frame has a fill applied. Note: InDesign reports that a compatible GPU and monitor are detected. Also, it doesn't matter whether "Animated zoom" is enabled or not. See screenshots 1–3.
With GPU Preview disabled (or with CPU Preview on) the images render correctly. See screenshots 4–5.

My publish online window looks shrunk and i can't see the percentage or the sharing icons.

InDesign ignores colore profile settings
When I create a new document, InDesign no longer uses my default color profile settings. InDesign uses the default settings (sRGB/Fogra39). I can't switch it around either. I always have to manually assign my color profiles. All other apps are using fine my settings.

Table formats don't work at all
ID 2019 - 2021
1. Create a table format with table frame 1 pt and apply to a table without stroke - no change.
2. Create a cell format with 1 pt stroke, nest in the table format and apply - no change. See video.
3. Apply the cell format to a cell - at first no change. You must manually use the button that removes deviations. See the other video.Conclusion: neither table formats nor cell formats correctly override the current formatting of a table.

Menu not appearing when clicking toolbar hamburger button
I got the problem that the menu that should appear when you click on an "hamburger" button in the top right corner of a toolbar doesn't appear.
This happens on a second screen when you got more than one screen/monitor, and the main screen has higher resolution than the second one. It also only happens to toolbars that are positioned near the bottom edge of the second screen and where the menu height is larger than the distance between the "hamburger" button and the bottom edge of the screen.2 votes -
Stalling
Within the last couple weeks, Indesign has been acting very glitchy for me. I've never had these problems before, but when I open a document the application seems to stall for a bit. This is happening in all my documents (so it isn't one file that is the issue). Indesign doesn't ever crash, but seems to get hung up within the first couple minutes of use.
