Color Settings change to Emulate InDesign 2.0
Color Mode changes from whatever is set in InDesign when switching app from Adobe Photoshop to InDesign (latest versions) ... I am getting the same problem when switching from Photoshop to the latest Illustrator as well.
Problem Occurs even when InDesign (and Illustrator) are both shut down. After launching Photoshop and then shutting Photoshop down, Color Settings in InDesign and Illustrator are both changed to "Emulate".
PLEASE FIX IMMEDIATELY!!!! THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM and impacts my workflow horribly as I am back-and-forth between these applications regularly.
I have checked Bridge as well... and default is set to North American Prepress 2.
Running:
InDesign 16.1
Photoshop 22.3.0
Mac OS 10.15.7
This issue is no longer happening with the latest updates of Ps, Ai, and Id.
Closing it.

It changes all the time, I have to keep going to Bridge to reset. Annoying, irritating, this never needed to happy. Why does Adobe build as many new bugs as they do new features?

Same problem here. Not funny. Please fix asap. Incorrect colors in mass print production can be quite expensive.

We need a fix immediatly! I had to tell the whole agency to stop updating. I can't figure out wich update causes this issue. Maybe the latest version of photoshop? When all settings are syncronised in Bridge, InDesign and Illustrator are open – all colormanagement is lost if I start Photoshop as well. It's lost too if I switch from Indesign/Illustrator to Photoshop and back again.

Wow, it even drops the settings as Indesign is open and while working on a document(!). Please fix this at once Adobe.

I have the same bug. This is really annoying stuff as I switch between color profiles pretty often.
Please Adobe, fix this immediately! -

I'm dealing with this too, in both InDesign and Illustrator, I'm preparing a lot of really huge artworks to be printed and this is awful, It's taking me many more hours of stress to attempt to deliver the final files than it should, you need to fix this like today, it's really hard to keep a decent workflow with the software acting out like this...
