Please include "Convert Shape" in the Object Style Options
I'd like to quickly convert my rectangular photos into circular photos. On top of that, I want the circular photos to have a circular text wrap that works.
Currently the work-around is to change the Corner Options to create rounded corners big enough to become a circle shape, but then the text wrap (Wrap around Object Shape mode) is still wrapping around the 90 degree bounding box.

STYLE support for run-in (aka in-line) headings
Currently there is no Style setting that can produce a run-in heading. This is a very widely used style in documents using more than 2-3 heading levels, and I have needed it for years now.
NOTE: Using Nested Styles does not fulfill the need for run-in headings. Using a nested style is a work-around based on character styles, and this technique does not allow a heading to be "promoted" or redesigned!
A quick solution:

Object Export Options should have a short cut
Object Export Options should have a short cut available or one that you can set. Currently there is no way to do that and when you're doing accessible documents it's very difficult to do multiple images with different alt text.
Please make accessibility tools a priority for InDesign

Allow usage of Data Merge within the Slug
We often use internal templates, that utilize the slug area of documents to handle file-specific data. Often we will utilize Data Merge to populate these fields, but we can only do so if our text fields are moved from the slug area, into the document. This of course forces us to move the slug-specific content back into the slug on what can easily be hundreds of documents.
Please expand Data Merge to being useable for document text fields that don't lie directly on the page(s).

Black only crops
When printing or exporting to a pdf file for print, can we have an option of black only crop marks. The reason is when we print to our Xerox Igen 4 and there is a mixture of color and black and white pages, the pages with just black text register as color because of the registration colored crop marks and on large runs it can add up to a lot of money. Thank you.

Object corner effect
When I insert a spacing on a text box using Text Fram Options Panel I lose all my custom spacing once I apply a corner effect.

Show picture as it is being resized
In CS5 we could drag the corner of a picture and the picture would change as you pulled down. The new version only changes the frame and you can't see what the picture is doing. We print over 1,000 pictures in our weekly publication and this takes a HUGE amount of extra time to get the picture to the size we need it in the frame.

I would like to edit several complete tables at once, to change the cell height, text size, side spaces, alignments, among other editions.

Share for review - A Great New Feature
I just started testing the new Share for Review and am really liking it so far - very smooth and an upgrade over the Publish online feature which I tried but found was no better than just saving a PDF to the cloud and sharing that. I like that in Share for Review I can just hit update on an active document. I am hoping over time to see the following added to this great new feature:
- The ability to allow clients to download a PDF version
- More Annotation tools (Highlights, cross-out, underlines, etc...)
- The Ability to Create Versions

Allow document to be editable while using "FIND FONT"
Add the ability to edit and interact with the underlying document while the FIND FONT window is open (just like we can do while the regular FIND/CHANGE window is open)
When FIND FONT is open, the ONLY thing we can do is locate/substitute fonts. We aren't able to interact with the document in any other way. Often while using FIND FONT to locate where missing fonts are used, we find that the issue is actually just some text that we forgot to style properly, or a rogue invisible character that should simply be deleted. I enter a date i.e. through date picker, ID handles displayed output
I am running into the same problem for years: In program brochures spanning a whole year with 200+ events and multiple references throughout the brochure, clients provide wrong information (i. e. wrong day of the week for a specific date or a wrong year).
How about this: In a text frame or table cell, I could have a date picker or I´d write down every date in the same format, say like this: [DD.MM.YYYY] (since I am in Germany that would be my local format). Make "split column" widths flexible
I use split-and-span columns frequently in my work. Often, with lists of names, I'll have that one name in a column that is just too long and wants to wrap. If I could adjust the column width after using the split-columns, that would be very helpful. As it is, I either have to decrease the type size or increase the right side margin, which messes with the body text width. Updates to Import PDF Comments feature
Need to be able to (Command + C) text in comments to copy. The copy button is laggy as hell and a time suck.
Need to be able to change a comment from delete to replace or vice versa.
Need to be able to edit comments in order to fix user error. For example. misspelling or extra text (delete comma) etc.
Need to sort and filter resolved and accepted comments.

Extended "apply next stlye" feature
I'm looking for a feature where you can force-apply the "next style".
tl;dr: Force the "apply next style" to existing and already style paragraphs.
For example: When you create a headline-style and define another stlye as following "next stlye" everything is fine as long as you enter your text in InDesign. But if you're working with a text that is already written you don't want to use the option "apply style and next stlye" with every single headline. I want it to be automated.

Recent Fonts List Modification to maintain the last selected position
Currently, if you have Number of Recent Fonts to Display set to anything but zero (0), recent fonts appear at the font drop down list, but the drop down starts at the top of the fonts list no matter what your current font is.

Paragraph Rules Improvements
I would be great if the Paragraph Rules menu received a couple of improvements:
1) Add a chain link for when you want both the Color and Gap Color to be the same. Likewise for the Tint and Gap Tint percentage.
2) This one is a bit difficult to explain, but one of the biggest annoyances with using Paragraph Rules to apply a RULE ON to text is that the rule expands/contracts in an undesired way if you change the size of a text box or if you add/delete something from the text. Endnotes should have the same renumbering options as footnotes
Footnotes can be set to renumber every SECTION. This is OK, but could be improved (see below).
However, endnotes can only be set to renumber every STORY. This is a most undesirable limitation, because it requires breaking text threads in order to create new stories. This is destructive design—to limit potential problems it is necessary to wait until layout is completed before breaking threads. Even then, problems can still occur.
This problem could easily be fixed by allowing endnotes to be renumbered the same ways as footnotes can be—every section.
