The order of Arabic digits is reversed when changing their character direction

Hyperlinks
>>>I use a lot of hyperlinks in a document which link to the individual products on our website for online ordering and stock levels.
>>The Hyperlink panel frequently corrupts - I lose the ‘traffic light’ link status indicator and location of the link (page No.) - meaning I have to remove InDesign and execute a clean install to get the feature back.

Preferences reset popup penalty
>>>When an existing user has been driven by degrading performance to the extreme step of resetting user preferences, please do not also make us undergo the maddening experience of dealing with the ENDLESS blue popups / tooltips / ads for the features we've already seen and considered. You could make an argument for forcing a user to deal with the blue boxes on a major upgrade. A preferences reset is not the same situation. >Please> consider reducing the burden of this type of visual pollution in our workspaces.

Add colour values to swatch list when placing file from Illustrator
>>>It would be beneficial if, when placing a file in an InDesign document from illustrator, that the colour value information of that file be added to the Swatches menu. Strangely, the colour values do import into my Swatches when I copy and paste an object I’ve created in Illustrator onto my artboard but not when I place/import that object within a picture box.
>>Another minor gripe - when pasting an object it does not retain the name of the colour if it has a custom name - it only brings the swatch in as the colour values.

Bug: Wrong centered text justification in round text frames
>>>Center-aligned text in round text frames is misaligned, i.e. too far to the left. Please see screenshots for all details.

Eyedropper tool should not copy content fill by default.

Creative Suite apps are INSANELY slow
>>>All Creative Cloud programs are insanely slow and lagging. It's nearly impossible to use 2 or 3 of them at the same time, and I need to restart my computer every hour to even be able to do some very basic tasks. The problem is happening in all programs, Indesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro ertc.
>
> This is happening on ALL computers I used in past years, and everything was up to date. It's not about 3rd party add-ons or resetting preferences, or any advice you offer.
> Some weeks ago I killed off all Adobe/CC background processes and everything worked perfect until the next time I restarted the computer. I tried to re-do this, but it doesn't help any more, or I can't remember what exactly I did.
> Obviously - it's some unoptimized background process or service causing it.

InDesign Strips Formatting When Pasting Text from Google Docs
>>>Description:
>
> When copying formatted text from Google Docs and pasting it directly into Adobe InDesign, all formatting (such as bold, italics, font size, and links) is lost. However, if the same text is first pasted into Microsoft Word or TextEdit, the formatting is preserved and can then be successfully pasted into InDesign. This suggests the issue is specific to InDesign’s handling of clipboard data from Google Docs. As a workaround, I currently have to use an intermediate application like Word, which slows down my workflow.>Steps to Reproduce:

Better Text Box Controls
>>>Could the in port and out port boxes be shifted slightly away from the bounding box corners? They’re currently positioned very close to the resize handles, which makes it harder to resize text frames — a much more frequent action than linking text.
>>While you're at it, please expand the interactive area around bounding box handles so the cursor stays in Scale mode slightly farther from the corners, reducing accidental switches to the Rotate tool when resizing objects.

Adobe InDesign 2024 and 2025 crash when pasting certain string into text box with particular font

PDF Export Page Range Defaults to Previous Settings
>>>Adobe InDesign – PDF Export Page Range Defaults to Previous Settings
>>When exporting a document to PDF in Adobe InDesign, the software retains the page range from the previous export session and uses it as the default setting for the next export. This behavior can lead to unintentional partial exports if the user forgets to manually reset the page range to "All" before exporting a new document or version.
>>This issue disrupts workflow and increases the risk of delivering incomplete documents, particularly in environments with high output volume or multiple concurrent projects. It would be more efficient and user-friendly if InDesign automatically defaulted the page range to "All" for each new export operation, or at least provided an option in preferences to reset the range between exports.
>>We request Adobe to consider implementing this feature in a future update to improve usability and prevent accidental export errors.

[ID-4263586] Adobe InDesign 2025 text justify buttons issue
>>>In the latest update of InDesign 2025 (as of writing this), there is a problem with the text justification buttons in the toolbar.
>>Previously, you could click these buttons and then just keep typing into your currently active text frame, which is what one would expect from previous versions of InDesign.
>>With the latest update, keyboard focus instead shifts over to these buttons, taking focus away from the text frame and your current text cursor position.
>
> This is completely useless, and makes it more difficult than it should be to, say, change the justification at a certain line of text and then keep typing or navigating the text in the frame.>Would appreciate a fix for this, as it is causing severe interruptions to my workflow, and the feature/bug benefits no one.
