Publish Online Dashboard is Down
I can't access any of the documents I've published online as an ePub. indd.adobe.com isn't working; the error code says it can't be accessed with HTTP error 503. Please can someone address this?

Place excel file, formatted table
I'm trying to place an excel file as a Formatted Table.
It's not working.
I can select Unformatted Table and it works, but I need Formatted Table.

Data Merge Issue with Chinese Characters in Adobe InDesign 2025

Adobe InDesign 2025 (20.0, Traditional Chinese version)
Steps to Reproduce the IssueOpen Adobe InDesign and create a new document.
Prepare a CSV file with Traditional Chinese text using UTF-8 encoding.
Use the Data Merge feature to import the CSV file into InDesign.
Place the merged data field into the document layout.
Preview or finalize the merge.
Expected ResultThe Chinese characters in the CSV file should be displayed correctly in the merged document without any distortion or encoding issues.
Actual ResultThe Chinese characters appear as garbled text (random symbols…

InDesign 20.0 neihter packaging next to the source file nor replacing images from the original folder
i'm suffering from a weird problem: nothing wants to use the original folder except the export command. When i try to replace an image the program navigates me to the last used folder unless i've chosen the Original folder option in the Preferences under File Handling menu. Same issue when i try to package a document.
I've tried to delete all the preferences. ALL of them. I've emptied all the cache. ALL. Uninstalled and reinstalled InDesign: the newly installed app tried to package into the last used folder (!?). The Preferences>File Handling> Default Relink folder menu does nothing. I can…

[ID-4256362]Cannot drag and drop InDesign files into InDesign
With no open files in InDesign, I cannot drag and drop an InDesign file from Explorer into InDesign. Double-clicking an InDesign file does work. Selecting multiple InDesign files in Explorer and then pressing the Enter key does work whether InDesign is running or not.

Layers not exporting properly to PDF (v20.0 2025)
Before the 20.0 2025 update I had a simple ID file with multiple layers. I exported with PDF 1.5 presets, Create Acrobat Layers checked and Export Layers: All Layers chosen. All layers visible in the PDF and opens up in AI as expected, with layers.
Since the update, same file, same presets etc. I export and all layers still visible in Acrobat, but does not open in AI properly. Instead all laters in one layer, as paths.

Share for review fails
Share for review fails and says the error is on page 18, but my document only has 17 pages.

Working color profile vs Color settings
In new InDesign 2025 v20.0 (on Mac, Sonoma 14.7.1), i have Fogra39 set in Color settings, still new documents are created with US Web coated v2 profile... It should work as in previous version: use Fogra39 for new documents, as is set in color settings.

InDesign 2025 IDML File cannot be placed into InDesign 2024
When saving a document created / edited in InDesign 2025 as an IDML, the resulting IDML file cannot be placed into an InDesign 2024 document.
The error dialog states "Cannot place this file. No filter found for requested operation."

.ai background not transparant
Illustrators imports in InDesign are always transparent, ever since i started with it back in the last century. I have tried making it .eps and Tiff without result. What's going on? Can anybody help me?

Unable to update a merged file. Error message
Hello, updating the contents of the fields of an already merged file does not work. Error message from InDesign that cannot open a file. An error message appears and all pages already generated are destroyed.

Project goes blank
I've been using the new Indesign 20.0 and it will often go blank to a completely grey screen in the working area. I can see the toolbar, and even the image gizmo but none of the actual content. I tried switching preview modes and to presentation mode and nothing works besides just quitting out and opening it back up. It seems to happen when it's been in the background for a while and I switch back to it. It's extremely frustrating. I'm on a Macbook Pro M3 maxed out specs on Mac OS Sequia 15.0.1 (24A348).

Little Black Lines and Delay When Dragging
When resizing a picture box in InDesign 20.0, little black lines appear along the box's edge (see attached). I've tried to lower the quality of the images in Preferences > Display Performance (see attached). I've also turned off animated zoom in Preferences > GPU Performance (see attached). I'm running an M3 Max 14-inch Nov 2023 MacBook Pro, Sequoia 15.1 (see attached Graphic/Displays details). These lines don't print, and they go away if I zoom in or out on the document. I believe this also only happens when the document view is at Fit to Page, but I'm not 100% sure.…

Black block
Instead of text there are these black rectangles - only on parts of it. When I placed the text it was ok, but then it randomly switched to this. It still somehow detects text there but I cannot see it. I converted the doc to the previous Indesign version but the issue is still here.
