Font name incorrect when a character style is applied
If you make a character style that applies "Bold" (or some other font style) and then apply it to text, the font name changes incorrectly in the Font field of the Properties panel or Control panel.
For example, if the character style applies "Bold" and you apply it to text set to Minion Pro, then the font name changes to "Minion Pro Bold" and the style also changes to Bold.
This is incorrect. In older version of InDesign it worked correctly: The font name should stay "Minion Pro" and the style should change to "Bold"

spell check in tables
See attached document.
The mis-spelled word "tiime" is addressed correctly in column 1 rows 1 and 2.
The mis-spelled word "paarty" is addressed correctly in column 2, line 1.
The mis-spelled word "partu" is is underlined correctly in column 2, line 2, but right-clicking on the word does not bring up spelling correction options.
"partu" will, however, be treated correctly using Edit -- Spelling -- Check Spelling... .2 votesHi
Please can you send a sample document with which the issue is reproducible? Thanks

Cross-Reference Character Width Incorrect
When inserting a cross-reference, InDesign acts as if the character of the cross-reference are much wider than they are. In my example below, it forces the "8" to flow down to the next line, even though an 8 character clearly fits, and a line break is not necessary.

Bug: InDesign Index page ranges not working when using "Next use of Style" options
Adobe InDesign 2020
15.0.2 x64Issue:
I am trying to create index entries that include a page range (such as 26-29) instead of a single page number using paragraph styles.
I am having trouble getting the page ranges for my indexed content to update correctly. Specifically, the index entry always only shows the first page of the range in the index pane on the first attempt.
I can sometimes (but not always) trick it into updating the page range correctly. I attached a video of it finally working after five failed attempts.
Here is what I tried:

Khmer Script Punctuation Line Breaking Is Broken
Regression Bug (used to work in InDesign CS 5.5)
Adobe InDesign CC 15.03 currently will break lines between Khmer script and its punctuation even though no space is present (Khmer Unicode Punctuation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khmer_script#Spacing_and_punctuation ) as pictured in the attachment.
Desired Result: Khmer punctuation should stay with the Khmer script preceding it (just like an English period, comma, question mark, etc. does). The whole word should line break with the punctuation (currently Khmer uses zero-width spaces [U+200B] to indicate a word-boundary).

align stroke to inside result wrong on compound path
Indesign 15.0.2
Steps:
• Create a compound shape from a larger Path and a smaller path located completely within the larger one with »Exclude Overlap«
• apply a Stroke with »Align stroke to inside«Expected result: The stroke should cover the fill along both path-elements
Actual result: The stroke on the larger object covers the fill, the stroke on the smaller one doesn't, but extends into the outside2 votes -

Hyperlinks don't work once published online
I have created an Interactive Road Map with animation, sound and hyperlinks. This was working with InDesign 2018 to 2019 when I first published it. However, I needed to update the road map but then once published online using InDesign 2020 all the hyperlinks and sound stopped working. I've tried going back using older versions of InDesign but those features seem to stop functioning. I've even tried re-inserting the URLs for the hyperlinks.
Check link https://indd.adobe.com/view/29ca9449-525d-49d4-880a-70887721f8a0
The hyperlinks are on the station names and text boxes.

Crashes when font file is moved *every single time*
This will crash InDesign (and Illustrator and Photoshop) every single time without fail, all cc 2020 apps I've tested, specifically:
InDesign 15.0.2, Illustrator 24.1, Photoshop 21.1.2
I'm using OSX 10.15.3 Catalina
Try this:
–add a font to ~user/Library/Fonts/MyFontFolderName/ to install. Works with any font, but for example try Adobe's own wonderfully designed Source Serif Pro
–make a new document in InDesign, set some text in that font, eg: Source Serif Pro-Regular, save document (or don't save, same result)
–move the font file, eg: SourceSerifPro-Regular.otf to a sub folder, eg: ~user/Library/Fonts/MyFontFolderName/AnotherFolder/
–app will crash EVERY SINGLE TIME.Once again, this happens…
1 voteThis has been fixed in latest version of InDesign. Please update your application from Creative Cloud Desktop.
Thanks

eyedropper options
I'm using InDesign 2020 and lately when I (accidentally) double click the eyedropper tool in the toolbar, it opens the Eyedropper Options window. There's an "OK" and "Cancel" button. When I click on either I can't close the window. It stays in the foreground in all applications. I can move it around, but not close it. The only way I've been able to get rid of the window is to force quit InDesign.

Paragraph/character styles font menu bug. Multiple Monitors
InDesign CC 2020 (15.0.2)
Operating System: macOS Catalina (10.15.4)
MacBook Pro 2019 16 inch built in monitor (default) 3072x1920
Samsung LC27JG52QQXEN 2560x1440 144HzIf I have the screens stacked as per the screen shot attached the font menu with paragraph styles is stretched off the screen top and bottom. The only way around this is to position my other screen to the side and then it works fine. The images 3 and 4 show the issue that I am having. Images 1 and 2 show the only thing that I can do to workaround the issue.

Can't export as 2-up facing (non-continuous) PDF
I was able to export the pdf as facing pages (non-continuous), but recently discovered I am now unable to even select those options for some reason. I recently downloaded a plugin called "in5" https://exchange.adobe.com/creativecloud.details.100761.html and uninstalled it when it turned out to be a trial with watermarks. I've attempted to change one of the export options from "page" to "spread" with no success.
I reinstalled Indesign CC after uninstalling the plugin and am still getting this problem. I am wondering whether this is a software based issue, or CC account issue.

Endnotes with Numbers following Hebrew Script in an English Document Not Working
I have an issue with Endnotes and how they are working in English following Hebrew inputs into the text. It seems to be isolated to endnotes with or including any kind of numbers. I have attached a WORD document, showing screenshots. This I have to say is quite a needed fix, or a solution. I was informed to submit this as a bug.
