i cant creat a new project
Every time i try to creat a new project, in design stop working, i can open and work on old ones but i cant creat a new one. the loading circle just stop at 75%

Adobe InDesign 16.2.1 x64
After updating OS or indie, (this week there were both) My workspace resetted to Essentials and settings were gone. There is so much work creating a good starting/default settings. So I'm totally sad now.1 vote -

title of file is wrong and shows up in pdf bowser tab
When Indesign converts to pdf, it is carrying over a title that I can't find or edit to the pdf that then becomes the title of the browser tab when it is uploaded online. Horrible! It has done this with every newsletter now for years and we can't find where to change it. Title should not say "Kailin Mooney, Eastlake Resident/Food Bank Employee". How can I change this?

Proof Colours not working anymore

swatch palette folder minimizing
Each time I deselect then reselect the Swatch Palette all of the Groups folders are minimized, even if I recently expanded the folder. Please retain folder view status when the Swatch palette is minimized.

Allow importing of styles from CC library to application, not just to document
There needs to be a way to import styles from our library into InDesign itself, not into a document. You allow us to import swatches this way, so why not styles?
I have lots of default styles/swatches, which I created with no document open so they are applied to every new document I make. I got a new computer, so I added all of these styles to my library with hopes that I could import them all again.

No new Dialogue Boxes
Indesign refused to open any panels that were not already docked to the side e.g. Effects, Pages. Fixed with a restart of Indesign.

InDesign 16.2.1 Mac unwanted automatically full screen
InDesign automatically changes itself into full screen mode. Which I don't want. There is no setting to be found to correct this. Illustrator does the same thing but there you can change the UI navigation size and then it behaves like it should.

paragraph shading where inline table is used
Indesign all versions:
I often use pararaph shading to give my text some extra attention. I may also have tables in this text, that require the same shading. But unfortunately, that's not possible with inline tables. When I instead use inline graphics, the shading works as expected.
Seems like a bug to me!

cursor stuck on pencil
When I open a certain file, the cursor is stuck on the pencil tool. I can't select any objects in the file. The cursor still operates menu selections, but doesn't work inside the document.

Id CC 2021 pdf export failure
This is an issue I and my coworker have been having with previous versions of INDD CC, along with 2021 (16.1). It's been a problem for about a year now. We work off of a server, and exporting to a PDF fails frequently. It usually works if we export to our desktops, but exporting to the server is very hit-or-miss. It doesn't matter if the file is older or has just been created, and it doesn't matter whether it contains linked files or not.

"Go-to-Folder" Shortcut Not Working When InDesign Opens Finder
About two updates prior to the last 2021 update that was released, the shortcut Commnand+Shift+G that would normally open the "Go-to-Folder" dialog box when doing something like relinking an image stopped working.
Unlike windows, where a file's location path can be copied and pasted at any time into an address bar, the "Go-to-Folder" menu can only be accessed via shortcut on Mac (as far as I am aware). It is very inconvenient to have to go through every folder individual folder, when I want to relink or place something, instead of being able to directly go to where the file…

table content moving even if there is enough room
This is getting ridiculous, there are so many bugs in this program it's barely usable anymore. I have a 2 column layout, some content spans to 1 column. Sometimes when there is a table that spans it moves the table to the next page even if there is enough room. The only way to fix this is to make another text box and link them together. In the latest update to the application, support for contextual UI interface management has actually got worse.
I utilise a 'dual screen' like many, may designer. I find it unbelievable that Adobe continue to ignore professional reporting of your bugs and lack of real support for the program.
Indesign's lack of contextual UI management is poor, inadequate and pretty much makes using dual screen even more difficult than the last release.

find/change text missing search: selection
after making a selection, the Find/Change text dialog sometimes does not offer Selection in the Search dropdown. It will be present under GREP and Object, but not Text and Glyph. Closing/reopening Find/Change does not fix it. Restarting InDesign usually fixes it...until it goes missing again.
