InDesign 2021 is not allowing me to open files created in previous version
I cannot open any files created in previous version. I had to reinstall InDesign 2020 to be able to do my work. InDesign 2021 is giving me a message about damaged files, is trying to repair them but without any success. So this version needs to be fixed asap.

i need help and have an ad deadline yesterday. nothing will launch and all of my layouts are obsolete.

I'm having this problem with one file and I see this issue hasn't been addressed, even though the first post was back in October. Disappointing. Can anybody from Adobe at least attempt to make any suggestions?

This is very bad... My Indesign 2021, is also NOT opening files made in InDesign 2020!!!!

I am ha ving this same issue and they don't see to be addressing this at all.
Its a huge problem to not be able to work on files you're in the middle of! It cost me 2 hours of work time over the weekend . -

You cannot use InDesign 2021 to open files created in previous versions. When you try, the files "convert" and while the text and images are there, you cannot see them in the window or work on them. Its really frustrating and cost me almost 2 hours of work time after I upgraded and then had to delete and reinstall 2020. This should be fixed ASAP and I am not even seeing it on your list
