Hi,
Thanks for reporting the issue. We are reviewing it-InDesign Team
An error occurred while saving the comment Bastian S. commentedWe are fixing this with a java script snippet every time we create a new interactive pdf - would be nice to see this fixed together with some more control in InDesign itself since the options are still very limited.

An error occurred while saving the comment Bastian S. commented- Change the setting with all documents closed.
- Create a new document => Check if it's still correct
- Close InDesign and restart it (Crash = Config not saved in most cases)
- Open one of your documents => If the setting is different there it's correct (afaik) since this should be a document setting.
- Yes this needs to be changed for every document you open (if iam not mistaken)Wanna know what is and isn't a Document only setting?

Please help us with answers to the below queries:
1. OS version of the machine where issue is reproducible.
2.Are the files opened simultaneously by more than one user?
3. Does the same file which is opened as Read Only in Id 14.0.2, when opened in Id 14.0.1 opens fine?
4. Does remounting the SMB drive fixes the issue? An error occurred while saving the comment Bastian S. commentedI can not confirm this behaviour in our SMB Network.

Hello All,
We thank you for your patience all this while.
Addressing this problem has been tricky for us given the random nature of the issue.
Determined to resolve the issue, we had launched our investigation into the matter to identify the root cause and fix it.Many of you must have received email from us seeking more details about the issue.
We have concluded our investigation and came up with the below mentioned finding:
It was found that, most of the times, users were trying to drag an empty polygon which was leading the confusion because the legacy behaviour of InDesign allows dragging of polygon only from its edges or the centre most point.
If the user tries to drag it from any other position, the object cannot be moved. We have tried to improve the user experience in this regard. You can try the same in InDesign’s latest…

Adobe InDesign TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment Bastian S. commentedI can confirm that this happend to me too - but not very often.
InDesign in general has quite a few "updating" problems - especially when having multiple textframes inside each other that change dimensions due to text changes..What usually works for me is pressing "**** + F5" to refresh the view or edit a line / place a linebreak and remove it in the broken view. - But it's still a bug.. yep
