1. graphic frame corners not rounding in publish online document

   operating system: Catalina (latest update 10.15.5)
   Have generated online published file in both 2019 and 2020 Indesign

   
To obtain evenly rounded corners on tables in my document I copied the table into a graphic frame and then rounded the corners of the frame. This renders fine when I create a pdf but for some reason when I generate an online publication from indesign one side of the graphic frame edges aren't rounded anymore. The rounding issue only happens with these graphic frames, objects with rounded edges render just fine.

2. missing links in books

   When printing or exporting books to pdf InDesign tells me where to find text overflows. But missing or changed links are only mentioned as "there is a missing link somewhere in this document".
   So please tell me where is this missing link.

3. Kerning (spacing) issue with small caps active

   There's an annoying issue with kerning (or in general with characters spacing) on characters without small caps when small caps is active on preceding characters.
   This appens randomly on a full text document but seems always with text imported from Word.
   The strange thing is that if I deactivate small caps from only a white space before the badly spaced text, the problem disappear. Likewise if I deactivate small caps from preceding word but keep it in the white space before the badly spaced text, the problem disappear again. However if I deactivate small caps from preceding text, keeping it in a white space before the badly spaced text and in a single character before, the problem still remain.
   I don't know why this appens and why only in some text, but this is annoing because it's not so evident when scrolling through a big document and it could remain on a printed book.

4. Either the file does not exist... ERROR

   I've noticed a pattern when clicking on one of my recent file icons... I use two different cloud storage platforms, Dropbox and Sync. Both services are accessed from local folders on the same external hard drive. When trying to open one of the recent DROPBOX files from the Recent start page, I get the dreaded 'Either the file does not exist...' error.

   BUT, when I follow the same process with one of the SYNC files, it opens with no issues.

   ALSO, I can open files from EITHER service using the File > Open Recent method.

   So... could the problem somehow be with the Dropbox integration? Any thoughts, InDesigners? Thanks!

5. Share for Review: Image Quality

   Can we have an option where Share > Share for Review has a high-quality view as opposed to the low-res preview (see file attached- Review (left) and Original (right)) please?

   Share for Review is to quickly share a design that is still a work-in-progress with the Reviewer(s) for quick feedback. Since the review opens in a browser for the reviewer, it has to load quickly even on slow networks, that’s why the image quality has been kept low deliberately so that the page loads quickly without long wait times. Using high-res views will slow down the loading of pages in the browser considerably, marring the experience.

   The comments are marked on web as "Non Mapped Comments" while in Indesign they´re showed in right places!

   Please use Share for Review feature and check when you make comments on the web if they are shown on the correct Spread.

7. Share for Review SYNC Broken

   I use "Share" > "Share for Review" on a Program for review by multiple departments for edits. I received notifications of over 200 edits, but upon opening the InDesign file to begin changes, the "Window" > "Comments" > "Review" Panel data is empty and again says "Create Review".

   So the connection from my online review and the source InDesign is broken. Additionally, there is no option to save that online version as a pdf to import the comments via that option in "Window" > "Comments" > "PDF Comments"

   We’ve released an update to InDesign – 15.1.2

   Please update to this latest version and see if the issues you were facing earlier have got resolved.

   Remember to check how you are signed into your CC account and if need be, sign out and sign in again. Since Share for Review is a service and dependent on your login to your Adobe ID account, it is important that CCD app is working well with your credentials.

8. automatic page numbering

   InDesign 2020 - I can no longer get automatic page numbers. When I insert special characters>marks>current page number on the master page, it inserts two 'ss' and won't insert an 'A' for the page number? I have copied an automatic page number from an old file and pasted it into this new one I'm working on, and it works OK. Has anyone else got any experience of this? What's your work around or solution?

9. [BUG] Text from pdf disappears when placing a pdf

   When placing a (PitStop server certified) PDF some texts in the placed PDF disappear (on screen as well as print).
   Only happens in latests Indesign/photoshop/illustrator, older versions work fine.

   PDF has no errors or problems in Acrobat pro preflight and PitStop server.

10. [bug] UI won’t show up although app seems to have launched successfully

    macOS Catalina 10.15.5
    MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)

    Nothing appears when I create a new document or open one. The app seems to be working though because it keeps adding a numeric increment every time I create a new file. InDesign is updated to latest build. Please advise.

12. 탐색기나 브릿지와의 호환

    인디자인 cc로 업데이트 한후 탐색기나 브릿지에서 이미지를 가지고 올때 드래그가 안되는 현상이 가끔 발생합니다. 너무 불편합니다. 문제 해결좀 해주세요.

13. Viewing page with linked image causes file to be marked as dirty (needs saving)

    InDesign version: 15.1.1
    Additional versions tried: 15.0.3, 15.0, 14.0.3
    MacOS Mojave (10.14.6) on two different computers

    To reproduce:
    1. Create a new empty document.
    2. Add a second page to the document.
    3. Place Image, onto the page you're viewing (I did a PNG)
    4. Save and close the document.
    5. Open the document.
    6. Wait 2-20 seconds, doing nothing to change the document.

    Expected result: document opens to page with placed image, nothing else happens / changes.

    Actual result: document opens to page with placed image, and after a delay the document is marked as changed (asterisk appears in tab before the filename, InDesign prompts to save document when you close it)

    Additional detail: It seems to key off of viewing the page with the linked image, not just opening the file. If you save the document while viewing the page without the image, then when you re-open it (and see the imageless page) the file is not marked be as dirty even if you wait. However, if you then go to the page with the linked image (by clicking, scrolling, or command-J), shortly after you get there the file will be marked as dirty. (If you scroll, the key event seems to be hitting the boundary to the new page; the linked image does not need to actually be displayed.)

    Attempted fixes which did not resolve the problem:
    • Deleting my InDesign preferences (by holding down CTL-CMD-OPT-SHIFT during program startup)
    • Deleting my Cache

    InDesign version: 15.1.1

14. caption

    When using the ‘generate live caption’ -and i read more than one data-field- the caption is placed over several paragraphs.
    When this is used in combination with numbering paragraphs (to auto number the pictures) every line gets a new number e.g.

    So this is a pretty useless option right now, I have no idea how to fix this…

15. Intraktive Felder

    Bugs in den Fomularfelder.
    Schriftgrad steht auf automatisch. Wenn daraus ein Interaktives PDF generiere wird, wird der Text beim überlaufen das Feldes nicht kleiner wie es eigentlich sein sollte, sondern der Text läuft weiter und ist dann nicht mehr zu sehen!
    So kann die neue 15.1 x64 Version nicht verwenden werden!

16. dropbox sync font file issue

    InDesign 15.1.1 creating font sync issue with Dropbox where it repeatedly changes the AdobeFnt22.lst file again and again while Dropbox tries to sync the file folder. This causes the editing process to be exceptionally sluggish and unresponsive when attempting to edit files saved to Dropbox folders. This does not happen on files saved to local drive (e.g. desktop) only Dropbox folders, and only in the most recent update. Previously it has not been an issue.

17. The app.doScript () statement no longer works since version 15.1.1...

    The script that I am attaching works up to version 15.0 and does not work with the next versions (certainly with version 15.1.1). The error that returns is "Unable to load Adobe Indesign Type Library 1.0" (translated from Italian). It does not seem to me that there are incompatibilities with the app.doScript () statement that generates the error.

19. Pages palette bug

    Hello,

    You will find a file in the attachment, please open it. Now open the page palette. Now try moving the pages in the correct order of the numbers by moving the thumbnails. You will not succeed!
    I reported this bug over a year ago and it still isn't fixed! (Indesign version 15.5.5)

    Edit: Unfortunately I cannot attach an Indesign file. Please provide me with an email address so that I can send you the file.

20. BUG - 15.1.1 - Mac/PC - text threads don't display

    On both Mac and PC, the 15.1.1 version doesn't display text frame threads.

    When I create a new doc, threaded text frames DO show the threads. But when I open pre-existing documents, threads don't show at all. I've confirmed this behavior with a few other people, on both OS platforms. I'm running on Win10/64, [Version 10.0.18363.836]. The Mac users were on very recent OS's.
