2. ID CC crashes when edit original is clicked from right-click context dialog in Win 10

   Running CC 2017.1 on Win 10 with tons of memory. After ID has been running for a couple of hours and I right-click edit original on a l inked AI element it instantly crashed. However, choosing edit original from the links menu does not crash. Have deleted cashes and recovery, turned off plugins. Nothing works. See attached error message.

3. Character missing in Adobe Devanagari font

   Please review the attachment.

   I am unable to locate or reproduce the character after the = using the Adobe Devanagari script. Need it urgently as I am working on a book.

4. When I start inDesign (12.1.0.56 x 64 build, English Windos version), I get a message from Windows Script Host code 800A0035

6. Horizontal page display in Pages pane should be spine aligned

   When View Pages Horizontally is chosen in the Pages pane, the ('floating left'—CSS speak) spread thumbnails should all align on their spines, making the first odd-numbered page flushed to the right as the even page to the left.

7. Interactive elements do not export to interactive PDF

   Version - Adobe Indesign CC
   2015.3 Release
   11.3.0.34 Build
   operating on Mac OS X El Capitan, Version 10.11

   Steps to reproduce issues:

   Create a new document with a double-page spread in Indesign.
   Import four images into document and arrange on spread.

   Import a shape into Indesign that will be assigned as a pop up box that will appear above Image 1 when rolled over, and place shape next to Image 1.
   Place some text (e.g. "Image credit') on top of shape and group text with shape.
   Open Buttons and Forms dialogue box:
   - Convert group to a button.
   - Set 'Name' as: Pop up 1.
   - Check box to turn 'Hidden until triggered' on.

   Select Image 1 which will be the trigger image for Pop up 1.
   Open Buttons and Forms dialogue box:
   - Convert Image 1 to a button.
   - Set 'Name' as: Image 1
   - Select 'Event: On Roll Over'.
   - Add a new action: 'Show/Hide Buttons and Forms'.
   - Set 'Visibility': select Pop-up 1 from list and set visibility as 'show'. Set visibility for 'Image 1' itself to 'ignore'.
   - Appearance: [Normal] is selected.

   • Select "Event: On Roll Off'.
   • Add a new action: 'Show/Hide Buttons and Forms'.
   • Set 'Visibility': select Pop-up 1 from list and set visibility as 'hide'. Set visibility for 'Image 1' itself to 'ignore'.
   • Appearance: [Normal] is selected.

   Repeat above steps for Images 2, 3 and 4.
   Export as interactive PDF.

   Actual result: 3 out of four of the images will trigger a pop up box when rolled over in the Interactive PDF as exported from Indesign. The fourth image does not trigger its assigned pop up box. The settings are exactly the same for all four images and pop up boxes. The shapes for the pop-up boxes are each imported separately, not copied and pasted. Sometimes none display, sometimes all, sometimes half. I cannot depend on this feature to work correctly.

   Expected Result: Each of the four images will trigger a hidden separate pop up box for its corresponding image when rolled over and the pop-up box will revert to being hidden when the image is rolled off.

8. InDesign Publish Online positions incorrectly...

   If you follow the below link in Safari (Mac Desktop), any spread that contains an ad repositions itself in the top left corner of the screen instead of centered. Additionally, in all browsers, the videos all autostart at the same time when the publication opens for the first time. Anyone have any ideas?

9. Images re-imported and resized in Windows lose scale settings when opened on Mac

   Version of Adobe InDesign CC: 12.1.0.56

   Steps to reproduce the issues:
   Import document from Word as source into MacOS version.
   2. Open file on Windows computer, re-import one of the images via the Links box and resize to match previous settings (e.g., 91.4%)
   3. Save.
   4. Open again in Mac, and the updated images have lost their sizing and blow outside of the Frame..
   Expected result:
   Image sizing should be retained across platforms.

   Actual result:
   Thee updated images have lost their sizing and blow outside of the Frame..

10. Interface while using : no preview

    When I use the scale tool with MORE than one text block, I can't see the block content while checking the "preview" box. I can only see changing the size of the blocks but they seem empty up to clicking on "OK" button. This happens only with many text boxes (or block, I don't know how you call them in english) . You can see a screenshot linked to my message. If I do the same with many image boxes, all is ok. If I do the same with only one text bloc, all is ok.

    when importing a file, the import options are collapsed, so you always have to check if the "import options" are marked. can reproduce. should be uncollapsed like the versions before.

13. Cannot use to gray or white when using Presentation view

    Gray or white background not available when using Presentation view in 2017 CC InDesign. I've tried using multiple combinations of "W" and control, option, command, etc. to no avail.

14. Windows 10 PC. VBA for Excel and the InDesign CC2017 library are not functioning.

    I have a serious problem. I have a new Acer PC Windows 10. I am using Office 365 Excel VBA to control InDesign CC2017. The InDesign CC2107 Type Library is not functioning with the VBA. I have been using this setup since CS3 to automate InDesign actions and provide solutions for automating print production.

    I am trying to start a $4000 project using these same InDesign capabilities but am unable to get anywhere. I am most disappointed and upset at this occurrance and am seeking some assistance from Adobe. Attached is the software code that I am trying to implement. Also attached is a large source code file that worked well and demonstrates what can be accomplished with your products. This is a serious concern for me. This is how I make my living. 15. Incorrect kerning on justified text

    InDesign v. 12.2.0.56

    I'm working in a book file, and this problem seems to occur at random. The kerning in the first word of a line of justified type is incorrect visually, but when you check it with the cursor, it is the correct number. If you change it, it jumps and appears to be correct again, visually, but if you save, close, and reopen the file, it is incorrect again.

    It is problematic because when a PDF is exported, the incorrect kerning is what gets exported.

    The problem has occurred in two different books I have worked on with completely different paragraph styles and settings.

16. Change to gap tool made it useless for measurement

    PRior to the latest update I could use the gap tool to hover between items and see in a moment the distance between them. Now the text color is so pale I can barely see it when hovering. Probably not an intentional change.

    We have made improvements to the readability aspect in the Control panel fields when using the Gap Tool in InDesign CC 2018. You will see a marked change as compared to InDesign CC 2017.

18. hotkeys aren't working

    displaying high quality images
    export file

    The hotkey for both of these features is not working most of the time.

    Also, hitting enter for saving files in the save window isn't working either. But it does work in Illustrator.
