Indesign duplicates when I click and drag on anything, and it won't stop
Whenever I hold click and drag something Indesign creates a copy. It's almost like the Alt button is held down but it's not. I've removed the keyboard and it still does it. I've updated the software and it still happens. I've tried multiple restarts but no luck. I even uninstalled and ran an install but still no fix. Does anyone know why this is happening? It's not happening on any other Adobe software, just Indesign. I'm working on the latest version.

I seem to have temporarily fixed it by deleting all layers apart from one. Maybe there is a glitch linked to adding layers as the problem only happened after I edited the names of layers in the document…
