Ceñir texto
Hola,

[obj] tag appearing in contents of pdf on Windows
We sometimes use inline images in section titles that are styles used for TOC generation. These "objects" do not appear in the generated pdf bookmarks, so we type the missing words in by hand. An [obj] tag, however, appears in the bookmarks of the generated pdf when viewed on Windows, even though it is not visible in InDesign (and not visible on Mac). This tag needs to be removed or at least made visible in InDesign.

Dialogue windows doesn't stay where you last put it
On older versions when you resized/moved dialogue windows they stayed where they were, now, when I'm relinking multiple items for example, I have to move the window out of the way so I can see my links pallete. Every. ****. Time. This just ruins my workflow and is a basic bit of functionality that's been broken for a while now. Please fix!

Tracking uppercase bug
Using some fonts (ie. MacOs system font PT SANS), when I change from lowercase to uppercase using the "Tt" function in the character panel, words appears with a wider tracking. When I change it with the menu "change to uppercase" it appears OK. I tried this also in Illustrator and it works well, so I think this is not about the font.

lose tags from masterpage when export to pdf
Hi, created a masterpage with footer text. Tagged the text as H6. Exported to pdf. Lost all tags. The only way to keep the tags is to place the text as regular text on all pages. Gone is auto numbering pages and the idea of a masterpage.
Please fix this bug. I use Indesign 15.01 x64 (Windows)1 vote -

Disable Southeast Asian Hypenation
When importing ZWSP or non-ZWSP text, hyphenation can not be disabled. It would be nice if hyphenation can be disabled in the paragraph properties and the text then be removed of hyphens.

Creep leaves a white gap
Print to Booklet does have a creep setting, to compensate for paper thickness in a saddle stitched booklet. But there is a problem is on the coverpages, since the added creep leaves a white gap on the 'back' where the staples are placed, even when the document has enough bleed to fill this space.

Presets did not export to CC 2020
None of my workspace, grep, place from Word, or postscript presets exported from the previous version.
Also there is no more option to save a custom print to postscript setting.

CC2020 story doesn't show hyperlink symbols
Hello,
With CC 2019 I could switch into story mode and see the starting and ending tags for a hyperlink. This ability was beneficial because I found the text editor struggled to reveal/understand the boundaries of the hyperlink's text-it couldn't tell where the hyperlink ended. If you look in the first figure, if I type at the end of the hyperlink, even with first keying a space symbol, the hyperlink extends into any further sentences I type.
In 2019 I would use the story editor to move the cursor outside the hyperlink termination symbol and get around the problem. With…
1 voteOpen the Hyperlinks panel and see whether the Hyperlinks are actually there. It could be that the Hyperlinks were initially created (hence the Blue color Underline beneath them) but were removed later on. That’s why the Story Editor does not show them.
From the Hyperlinks panel flyout menu, choose ‘Convert URLs to Hyperlinks…’ and see if the Hyperlink Start and Termination Symbols are shown in the Story Editor.

Printing seems to change a document
When the only thing done is printing an InDesign document, the app acts if there were any changes made: when closing, it asks wheter to save the changes.
This is very confusing, since it makes the user think something was changed by accident. Please make InDesign close the document without the save dialog, if nothing was changed.3 votesThanks for reporting the issue.

index range not defaulting to "Current page."
When I enter a page range for an index entry, that range 'sticks,' meaning it will be applied to all subsequent entries made by selecting a text and then clicking on the "New index entry" in the Index panel. Since the result isn't show to the user, the result is a long of wrong entries.
Fix: The page range should not default to the previous entry. It should default to the most common entry, "Current page." If you want to allow what happens now, add a "Make this range the default" check box.

Adobe Customer Service Bug
Adobe Customer Service and Support is non-existent. As in, no resolutions, no callbacks, constant lies to customers, and zero fixes.
It's crazy and super lame.

Keyboard shortcut for Break Link to Style is not working correctly
InDesign 14.0.3
When I use a shortcut for Break Link to Style in the Paragraph Styles Panel, it completely destroys the formatting.
However, when I select the same command with my mouse - it works as expected - breaks the link with the style, while retaining formatting.
