1. Same color management in all adobe product

   This will be a great feature for simplicity and collaborative work.

   Actually, each program have a different system for choose color, and I'm sure you can improve that with give the same logical and features in all program.
   Import photoshop palet in Indesign or Illustrator and vice versa...
   Add the Color them Tool in photoshop and Illustrator...and maybe why not in After Effect and Premiere...
   Sure you can do something great and identical in all your great products, even if you have not need CMJN/Pantone etc.. colors in video projects.

2. Share for Review comments link to incorrect spreads on web viewer after reordering pages in InDesign

   I am using the new Share for Review feature to get feedback on a 100+ page document I am working on. Previously I tested reordering pages on a small document, and all comments and pins stayed attached to the page they were originally placed on, even when its page number changed.

   However, after adding some pages to this larger document, I'm running into a problem where the comments are pinned to the correct page inside Indesign, but the wrong one in the web viewer. On the web, it seems to ignore the added pages and goes by the original page number of the comment.

   In the attached example, the comment was originally on page 100, but that page was pushed to number 105 as extra pages were added earlier in the document. In Indesign, the pin appears on page 105, attached to the image mentioned in the comment. On the web, the pin appears on the wrong page.

   This problem started while I was using the previous release, and updating to the latest (14.0.3) hasn't helped. I have updated the link multiple times. Thankfully, even after restarting indesign a few times, the comments remain in the right place inside of Indesign.

   If anyone has a fix, I'd really appreciate it! Otherwise I hope that Adobe can fix the issue soon. Thank you!

4. Unify font filtering across all relveant dialogues

   Give the Paragraph and Character Styles Basic Character Formats dialogue the ability to filter like the Character panel in the Properties window.

5. Quick image adjustments in InDesign

   Sometimes when creating a document I need to ever so slightly brighten the image or adjust the contrast, maybe increase the saturation; and standard workflow means pulling these up in Photoshop and applying the changes and the saving (often as a new file so as to preserve the original).

   This always seems like alot of effort for something that I feel could be done on InDesigns side.

   I am suggesting image quick adjustments.

   So an image is coming out slightly too dark. No worries, right click, apply quick adjustments. A new tool box will open that will have basic image adjustments (brightness, contrast, saturation etc) all on sliders that one can apply to the selected image. These changes are then applied to the image non-destructively and can be edited or removed at any time.

   The changes made should be able to be saved as object styles.

   I feel this will increase work flow in a lot of design situations, be very user friendly so wont be any learning curve and keep InDesign ahead of the competition.

6. Check Icon Effects Rapid ON/OFF

   I find this very frustrating every time.
   I would like to be able to activate/deactivate an effect by clicking on the check icon.

   • clicking on the check activates and deactivates the effect (on/off)
   • clicking on the name of the effect on the right should open the corresponding panel (as it already works now)

   Often to deactivate an effect I have to enter the panel to deactivate the check, this would be fine when I have to set the parameters but if I simply have to deactivate the effect I have to open a second panel that could be avoided.

   I hope I was clear and helpful.

7. Shortcuts

   If i want copy path of link(s) or just name of link(s) i can set a shortcut, but this shortcut works only if links panel is open. Otherwise shortcut wont work. The Same issue is with shortcut for change link(s).

8. Please restore the "Paragraph styles: Edit All Export Tags" option to Keyboard Shortcuts

   Possible to restore the "Paragraph styles: Edit All Export Tags" option to Keyboard Shortcuts? It is not present in InDesign 2025.
   Would be so much easier than opening that command through the Paragraph Styles panel each time.

9. Tool to review for performance issues

   It would be great if there was a tool similar to preflight that reviewed documents for potential performance issues and not just errors. Like if one link is massive and slowing everything down, if a table is causing issues, or especially if a hyperlink is going to open another document to get to hyperlink info (sidenote: copying hyperlinks from other documents is a nightmare, why does it default to opening the other indd file instead of just copying the link info?).

10. Show at least some info about an object when cursor hovers over it

    I used to use a plug-in that showed me info about any object on the page if I clicked it. That plugin hasn't worked for me in years, so I'm stuck opening and closing the Links panel all the time. I'd like ID to show me some info about objects just by hovering over them (like it instantly shows the grabber when you mouse over an image). Doesn't have to be everything that's shown in the link info. Could just be simple stuff, like dimensions, actual and effective resolution, file name. Or the user could choose from the same choices as are available for the links panel.

13. Make the start/end of a stroke highlight when you choose an arrowhead for the start/end in the Stroke panel

    It is very frustrating when applying an arrowhead to a stroke when you don't know what InDesign calls the start or end of that stroke. It's not so bad when you've drawn a straight line but a number of times, we edit shapes to create complex lines. Then it's a case of trial and error as to which end you place the arrow (and most of the time, typically, you end up choosing the wrong end. I know there is the ability to swap these but it would be useful if when you hover over either the start or end drop down boxes it would highlight which end of the line you're going to apply the style to.

14. Edit all Export Tags for all INDDs of a book (INDB) in one place

    In order to export a book to EPUB, I need all export tags (classes) to be perfectly consistent even if the styles they are assigned to aren’t (and deliberately so, which is why they can’t be simply synced via book sync).

    Currently there seems to be no other way than to open “Edit all export tags” from the panel menu in every single INDD of the book (which of course is already a huge progress compared to opening every single paragraph and character style).

    Please let us edit the export tags on book level for all INDDs of a book. Similar things work (well, seem to have been designed to work but sadly don’t under all cirumstances) for TOCs and indexes. The command could sit in the book’s panel menu next to the sync and numbering options (“Edit export tags for all book documents” or the like).

15. Convert or Make Dreamweaver able to edit and compose EPUB documents.

    I post this here because Feature Requests aro not longer existing for Dreamweaver, but hear me out. After you export an ePub from inDesing, sometimes is necesary to do some edits that can be done easily with an HTML editor. Extracting the files and restoring back the ePub format for publication could be cumbersome or difficult. You may even start an ePub directly from Dreamwever and finalize it for publication, tests included. I know other tools exist for something like this, but they don't have Emmet. DW could be a fantastic tool for ePub to be a companion for inDesign or just by itself. Thanks.

16. Rethinking pages with an infinite pasteboard and multi-user collaboration

    Let us bring InDesign into an open and more collaborative world.

    The individual pasteboard and contained page structure of InDesign are very constraining. It is time for a different approach to how we do page layout.

    Let us move to an infinite style pasteboard canvas (a la Illustrator, or Adobe XD, Figma) where your imagination can run wild! Think of it as a blown-up version of the Pages Panel with the same click-to, snap-to rearrange functionality, but without the extra layer of InDesign UI baggage.

    • Pages would function the same way with a left-to-right, top-to-bottom order, snapping layouts into the proper page arrangement.
    • A visual thread can bind groups of pages together to maintain pagination and order.
    • The same thread could double as the indicator of the document's spine for printed matter and the starting point for the measurement ruler.
    • Master Pages would be more like how they are presented in the Page Panel, prepending the pages, but could live contextually, presented only when prompted.

    With this addition, it would be amazing to (fingers crossed) bring collaborative editing into the fold. Opening up the pasteboard makes working with other contributors fun, effective, and overall time-saving. Teams can work in tandem to concept out a project, work on specific areas of the design between page layout, copy editing, artwork creation, and overseeing the creation from afar. If anyone has used Figma, you know how great collaborative features would be if brought to InDesign. Forget about cobbled together documents with varying pages, typographic and object styles, and separate applications like InCopy. No more lone star designers feeling the weight of impending deadlines because “there can only be one” person in the doc at a time.

    InDesign would also become a better educational tool, allowing instructors to showcase typographic concepts and demonstrate page layout.

    A different approach to how we view layout structure and design in InDesign's, plus the ability to work together in a single document would evolve InDesign into a more intuitive and productive software.

    Let us bring InDesign into an open and more collaborative world.

17. Sharable Publish Online Dashboard

    I would like multiple users to be able to update on a single dashboard. We like the idea of being able to update an existing link instead of replacing it which can be a lot more work. Currently, if we link a published file to our website and only one person can update it that's a problem, for obvious reasons. The single file might be linked in multiple places and turn into a tedious workload.

    I'm wishing for an upgrade for InDesign to do this and make this tool even more powerful, it will be awesome!!

    At the moment there is a lot of talk about environmental problems and sustainability. Responsible use is particularly important when it comes to the use of finite and regenerative resources.

    The AGD has developed a charter for sustainability for this purpose. "Designers are largely responsible for
    how our world is shaped. Design shapes, design is a role model and creates
    new awareness. Design consumes resources - sometimes more,
    sometimes less. The sustainable use of natural resources,
    with the environment and with the people who have remained in this world for generations
    should be able to live, design must do justice. "

    Dimensions of sustainable design Sustainable design is:
    - material-efficient and appropriate to the material - energy-efficient - low in pollutants - low or waste-reducing - durable - suitable for recycling and disposal - appropriate for logistics - appropriate for use - socially compatible - economical and successful

    Hence, consideration should be given to orienting the designs to save ink and paper. Could Adobe provide a tool that can measure how much ink is used depending on the printing process and color setting? Thus, the material efficiency of a design could be checked and an optimization of the use of ink via measurable and comparable key figures could be inclined.

19. Reorganise the SWATCHES WINDOW to be able to see ALL colour values

    Many os us (designers) don't have a huge screen to be able to spread all windows/tools allover thus, my request is regarding the way the colours names are displayed in the swatches window. I can’t see all values!!! (check attached image)

    Even using the "small list view", all values can't been seen (this is what I see now: C=30 M=60 Y=4...) unless the swatches window is really wide... using too much space out of my screen. (check attached image)

    Maybe a quick solution could be using C30 M60 Y40 K10 instead of C=30 M=60 Y=40 K=10

    There are also many space “not used”, but still the total full colour value can’t be seen. (check attached image)

20. Fit page to (Selected) Artwork (like Illustrator)

    This feature is required for InDesign. In the Pages panel, there is an icon to customize the page and on that menu, this could be the option or its icon should be added so the user could use it quickly which would be very useful.
    This Feature could be in the Layout Menu and it should be in the Properties Panel too.
