1. Allow character style to affect tab leaders

   I applied a tab leader in my paragraph style in order to force dots to appear between my text and page number in my table of contents. However, there is no way to style those leaders. InDesign manual says: To change the font or other formatting of the tab leader, select the tab character in the text frame, and use the Character panel or Type menu to apply formatting.

   This is fine except when you have a really long table of contents and want to format each tab leader. I chose a smaller dot by choosing a light font and had to manually change each line. A lot of work! Can we have a choice of style or character for the tab leader like we do for bullet point marker?

2. multi monator setup the share for review pannel never appears for

3. Same color management in all adobe product

   This will be a great feature for simplicity and collaborative work.

   Actually, each program have a different system for choose color, and I'm sure you can improve that with give the same logical and features in all program.
   Import photoshop palet in Indesign or Illustrator and vice versa...
   Add the Color them Tool in photoshop and Illustrator...and maybe why not in After Effect and Premiere...
   Sure you can do something great and identical in all your great products, even if you have not need CMJN/Pantone etc.. colors in video projects.

4. Check Icon Effects Rapid ON/OFF

   I find this very frustrating every time.
   I would like to be able to activate/deactivate an effect by clicking on the check icon.

   • clicking on the check activates and deactivates the effect (on/off)
   • clicking on the name of the effect on the right should open the corresponding panel (as it already works now)

   Often to deactivate an effect I have to enter the panel to deactivate the check, this would be fine when I have to set the parameters but if I simply have to deactivate the effect I have to open a second panel that could be avoided.

   I hope I was clear and helpful.

7. Automatic Photo Collage Creation Tool

   I would like Adobe InDesign to include a feature that allows users to automatically create a photo collage. The process would involve the user drawing a content box on the page or layout, defining the area where the collage should be placed. After selecting the photos they want to include in the collage, there would be an option to generate a collage layout using AI. 8. Show at least some info about an object when cursor hovers over it

   I used to use a plug-in that showed me info about any object on the page if I clicked it. That plugin hasn't worked for me in years, so I'm stuck opening and closing the Links panel all the time. I'd like ID to show me some info about objects just by hovering over them (like it instantly shows the grabber when you mouse over an image). Doesn't have to be everything that's shown in the link info. Could just be simple stuff, like dimensions, actual and effective resolution, file name. Or the user could choose from the same choices as are available for the links panel.

9. Quick image adjustments in InDesign

   Sometimes when creating a document I need to ever so slightly brighten the image or adjust the contrast, maybe increase the saturation; and standard workflow means pulling these up in Photoshop and applying the changes and the saving (often as a new file so as to preserve the original).

   This always seems like alot of effort for something that I feel could be done on InDesigns side.

   I am suggesting image quick adjustments.

   So an image is coming out slightly too dark. No worries, right click, apply quick adjustments. A new tool box will open that will have basic image adjustments (brightness, contrast, saturation etc) all on sliders that one can apply to the selected image. These changes are then applied to the image non-destructively and can be edited or removed at any time.

   The changes made should be able to be saved as object styles.

   I feel this will increase work flow in a lot of design situations, be very user friendly so wont be any learning curve and keep InDesign ahead of the competition.

   2. Once the image is imported into InDesign, what kind of adjustments do you mostly need?

10. Convert or Make Dreamweaver able to edit and compose EPUB documents.

    I post this here because Feature Requests aro not longer existing for Dreamweaver, but hear me out. After you export an ePub from inDesing, sometimes is necesary to do some edits that can be done easily with an HTML editor. Extracting the files and restoring back the ePub format for publication could be cumbersome or difficult. You may even start an ePub directly from Dreamwever and finalize it for publication, tests included. I know other tools exist for something like this, but they don't have Emmet. DW could be a fantastic tool for ePub to be a companion for inDesign or just by itself. Thanks.

12. Please restore the "Paragraph styles: Edit All Export Tags" option to Keyboard Shortcuts

    Possible to restore the "Paragraph styles: Edit All Export Tags" option to Keyboard Shortcuts? It is not present in InDesign 2025.
    Would be so much easier than opening that command through the Paragraph Styles panel each time.

14. Shortcuts

    If i want copy path of link(s) or just name of link(s) i can set a shortcut, but this shortcut works only if links panel is open. Otherwise shortcut wont work. The Same issue is with shortcut for change link(s).

15. Make the start/end of a stroke highlight when you choose an arrowhead for the start/end in the Stroke panel

    It is very frustrating when applying an arrowhead to a stroke when you don't know what InDesign calls the start or end of that stroke. It's not so bad when you've drawn a straight line but a number of times, we edit shapes to create complex lines. Then it's a case of trial and error as to which end you place the arrow (and most of the time, typically, you end up choosing the wrong end. I know there is the ability to swap these but it would be useful if when you hover over either the start or end drop down boxes it would highlight which end of the line you're going to apply the style to.

16. Sharable Publish Online Dashboard

    I would like multiple users to be able to update on a single dashboard. We like the idea of being able to update an existing link instead of replacing it which can be a lot more work. Currently, if we link a published file to our website and only one person can update it that's a problem, for obvious reasons. The single file might be linked in multiple places and turn into a tedious workload.

    I'm wishing for an upgrade for InDesign to do this and make this tool even more powerful, it will be awesome!!

17. Edit all Export Tags for all INDDs of a book (INDB) in one place

    In order to export a book to EPUB, I need all export tags (classes) to be perfectly consistent even if the styles they are assigned to aren’t (and deliberately so, which is why they can’t be simply synced via book sync).

    Currently there seems to be no other way than to open “Edit all export tags” from the panel menu in every single INDD of the book (which of course is already a huge progress compared to opening every single paragraph and character style).

    Please let us edit the export tags on book level for all INDDs of a book. Similar things work (well, seem to have been designed to work but sadly don’t under all cirumstances) for TOCs and indexes. The command could sit in the book’s panel menu next to the sync and numbering options (“Edit export tags for all book documents” or the like).

18. Tool to review for performance issues

    It would be great if there was a tool similar to preflight that reviewed documents for potential performance issues and not just errors. Like if one link is massive and slowing everything down, if a table is causing issues, or especially if a hyperlink is going to open another document to get to hyperlink info (sidenote: copying hyperlinks from other documents is a nightmare, why does it default to opening the other indd file instead of just copying the link info?).

19. Reorganise the SWATCHES WINDOW to be able to see ALL colour values

    Many os us (designers) don't have a huge screen to be able to spread all windows/tools allover thus, my request is regarding the way the colours names are displayed in the swatches window. I can’t see all values!!! (check attached image)

    Even using the "small list view", all values can't been seen (this is what I see now: C=30 M=60 Y=4...) unless the swatches window is really wide... using too much space out of my screen. (check attached image)

    Maybe a quick solution could be using C30 M60 Y40 K10 instead of C=30 M=60 Y=40 K=10

    There are also many space “not used”, but still the total full colour value can’t be seen. (check attached image)

20. Have Type Colour always available to select/change

    Please can we have the Type Colour always available to select and change, rather than being hidden secondary to the Fill Colour.

    e.g. why is the Type Colour not in the Character panel like Photoshop has.
    why is the Type Colour in the main horizontal Control Panel not NEXT to the Fill Colour? ... Why do you have to click Fill Colour then T then select the Type Colour??? ... the same for the Swatches Panel - why is the Type Colour secondary to the Fill Colour.

    The same problem also goes for Stroke colour ... why can't the Stroke Colour be NEXT to the Fill Colour??

    The way it is at the moment is a complete waste of time.
