Add option to share direct link to specific page in PublishOnline
We love PublishOnline but feel it is missing a "jump to page" feature or "share direct link to specific page" feature. This way, when our publications go live, we can share direct links to specific articles on social media or with clients without forcing people toggle through each page to get there. pretty please? It would help us out immensely.

PLUGIN to convert PMD to INDD

The ability to mention (@) guest users
Not everyone who will review my projects have an Adobe account, but I still need to be able to mention them in order to draw there attention to certain comments or areas on the page.

Exporting text from unchained boxes
The ability to export selected unchained text boxes into ONE text file, by selecting them and then exporting, rather than having to export multiple boxes into multiple files, and then collating them. And have them appear in order.
This would very useful when exporting text from print to the web, being able to extract an entire story in one hit, or when extracting, for example, multiple quote boxes
At the moment one has to export an entire page and it just turns into a mush1 vote -
Allow recovery of work after clicking Do Not Save (by accident)
I have just lost hours (even days) of work. Please find some way to recover a document after clicking Do Not Save accidentally. This is soul-destroying, sleep-losing behaviour of an application. Microsoft have managed version history with Word and other office applications. It's high time Adobe did the same with InDesign. Right now, anyone who has been in the same boat will recognise the sick feeling.

Updating master page synchronize in a book
Would love to see an option to synchronize master pages to the source file in a book that offers "deleting" master pages we do not want in the selection.

Allowing the Review Function to have live text editable/collaborative
The company I work for focuses more on publishing where we are working between an art and development team and an editorial team.
Currently, we use InCopy to allow our editors to be more hands on with their major changes they need to text. But it creates a long wait time, packaging and uploading large files to our current servers, and room for error for the designer or editor to not be working from the most updated file. Ability to set default font (style/size) in Forms
When I use the interactive feature for forms, the default font is always Minion Pro. I would like to be able to change this for any text box I make, rather than having to do it text-box by text box. I understand that if the user does not have the font on their computer, this would be replaced with one they do have.

Cross reference endnotes
At present if you are in a particular endnote and wish to cross reference to another endnote, it is impossible to obtain the new endnote number. While the list of endnotes shows the endnote number, it is not an option to choose just the number. So you only get the full text of the endnote. This is different from cross referencing, say, a list of Figures where you can cross reference just the Figure and the figure number. For some reason the endnote number simply does not exist as a Paragraph Number.

File handling behaviour
I would like indesign to First, look in its resident (root) folder for fonts and links, then look in subfolders (ie packed folders "fonts" & "Links") and only then, if it cannot locate them, go looking in the folders defined as "original links folder" or "most recent links folder".
I would like this to apply to both opening a file and to saving the file and exporting files (pdf etc)
and if this cannot be a default behavior, then I'l **** it to be an optional behavior.Why?

control blank document options when making new doc
When i go to create a new document, I look at presets but it continually shows me 'legal' etc (american sizes) which I've never used instead of A3, which I use often. I don't understand. WHy can't it either remember or let us organise them?

Align to column function

Is Interactive Video Wall Display Shaping a New Future?

Reveal in Bridge Automatically Installs Bridge
There's a few places in InDesign where you can accidentally hit the "Reveal in Bridge" and if you don't have this installed on your computer already - it will auto-install the app from the Creative Cloud.
I don't think it should do this - it should prompt you to if you want to install this to your computer rather than forcing the download.
I also would like an option to Disable the Reveal in Bridge - as I don't use it and it's so annoying when you have to go back and uninstall apps that you never wanted installed.

Picture form field for mac and overapping with another field
It is also an absolute concern of mine that you can also create image form fields, even if there is a logo on top of them, for example. Currently it is only possible (and only via windows) to create an image field without, for example, a bar with a font or a logo overlapping.

Possibility to change the default language in Middle Eastern version from Hebrew into English
I have the Middle Eastern version of InDesign. I understand the default for all settings is Hebrew/Arabic. I would really like to be able to change the default language into English when I will be working on an English document, and then be able to change the default back to Hebrew when I am working on a Hebrew document. As it is, I feel like I am constantly running into Hebrew formatting while trying to make an exclusively English product. It seems all the settings have to be changed individually, and even seem to automatically jump back into Hebrew format.…
