Hello All,
Kindly provide more information about this ask. How do you plan to use the Action Panel in InDesign? Do you want it to work exactly like that in Photoshop? What are the most important actions/operations that you want to record?
Thanks

Abhinav AgarwalAn error occurred while saving the comment Raja, Gejaraj commentedThanks Abhinav, I prefer option #4, as users will ensure that all the comments are properly imported by cross-verifying the comments and hope we'll have an option thro' Scripting to block the PDF generation process when the user is forgetting to hide the comments and retaining in the layout.
Also please confirm whether users will have an option to show again the comments after hiding the comments?
An error occurred while saving the comment Raja, Gejaraj commentedThanks Abhinav, sounds good. And for your question on mapping comments incorrectly for the modified InDesign document, looks okay for me, also expecting same from all. I also have some questions, which are shared below:
(1) Whether we can generate the PDF after importing the PDF comments with the markings to verify our internal QCs that all the comments given by the Authors are incorporated well as like the option available in Blacklining Plug-in?
(2) Whether it's possible to store the history of the comments imported in different rounds as like the option available in Blacklining Plug-in?
(3) I believe it's not possible, still asking this question, whether XML related changes will be taken care after importing the comments especially the formatting related changes? Please let me know, if you need clarifications on any of the above given details.

Hi All,
This indeed a great suggestion. I wanted to understand a little more about this request.
1. The way this request is described its majorly about figuring out how to change the various text attributes in a single step rather than having to change multiple styles to make that happen. It would helpful if you can mention which all attributes you all would want to be dependent on the baseline (space before/after, size, leading any other).
2. Which kind of documents (magazines, brochures, books etc.) do you see this to be more important for you.
3. Wouldn’t a similar method (not sure if we could base it on baseline though!!) for changing the layout also help, if you could define the sizes of objects in relation to the page size. Do you think extending this feature to the layout also makes sense.
4. If you can share some files…An error occurred while saving the comment Raja, Gejaraj commentedThis is really a good idea and must to include in InDesign, will really save huge time while typesetting.

An error occurred while saving the comment Raja, Gejaraj commentedWe also like to have continue footnotes (numbering and placements) within different stories in the same chapter.
@Adobe: Could you please update whether this can be fixed in InDesign quickly?

Yes, it'll be helpful to develop Machine learning tools for InDesign using Python. @Adobe: please think to include this support.
