Can you help us understand the key problems that you face in the absence of ability to send an anchored image backwards?
What’s the current workaround that you have to follow?
What are the use cases wherein you need that the text appears specifically on top of inline anchored image?
This information will help us evaluate the functionality better.

Hi,
1. The majority of InDesign Scripting threads were merged and archived at first.
2. After a month or so, InDesign Scripting re-appeared as its own topic in the new forums.
3. David K. started un-archiving older threads last week, a few at a time, very slowly and by hand, because of odd server-side limitations.
4. There is no “Direct Link” to the Scripting Topic at this time, but this ought to be fixed with the current sprint from the forums team. The internal bug number is: ALFD-1530While we wait for ALFD-1530, there is a backdoor way to find direct links to topics. You can follow a topic then look at your follows… or just use these links:

We have fixed the issue in the latest version of InDesign, Id 14.0.3Please upgrade your InDesign application to the latest version to try out the fix.
If you are unable to see the update yet, go to Creative Cloud desktop application, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right corner and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.
If you face any problems with the new update, do let us know in the comments.

To identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.
We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding : Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.
We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020.0.1 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.
If you still face this issue even after updating to the latest version of InDesign, please submit the crash report to us. (The guidelines to submit crash are available at (https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/submit-crash-reports.html)

Adobe InDesign TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment My preference for pasted document pasting is "Text only". I did not tried to clean cache and prefs. But I tried to retype from scratch the text I sent between " and my ID crashed too. Both CS6 and CC2018 (March release). The video showing the error is here: https://youtu.be/lzUrnbG9sVE (to reproduce the error, I didn't changed the preference about plasting text). When I change it, the error occurs the same way.
I'm using Windows 10 and ID CS6 and CC2018 (March release). -

An error occurred while saving the comment Allow us to choose different stroke style to each side of a frame (even text, graphic or unassigned frame). Turn them on or off (or 0pt size) to each side (top, bottom, left, right).

The ability to find colors in documents in now available in InDesign’s latest release 16.0.
It can be found in a new tab of Find/Change dialog – Color.
