The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update (14.0.2) of InDesign 2019.
If you are unable to see the update notification, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right of Creative Cloud desktop application and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.
Once the update button is shown against InDesign, click on the button to update to Id 14.0.2.If you face any problems with the new update, do let us know in the comments.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tobias Wantzen commentedAbsolutely agree to Evan! Paragraph styles should work like CSS! In my eyes it is time for a new area of working with styles. Nothing changed here since the 1990s. The endless possibilities of CSS outstands this old model by far!

Automatic page breaks inside a table cell (see MS Word).
It's a pain and very error-prone to cut the tail of the text even in the middle of a hyphenated word, add a new table row and paste it into that new row. It's bad and it's wrong when exporting the text and if your table reflows because of corrections before it, it produces errors, but up to now it's the only thing you can do to have a pagebreak inside a table cell.
