If you mean, negative indentation to overstep the left text frame margin to the left and the right text frame margin to the right, I'm totally in! Strongly seconded!!!
Negative Kerning to overstep the left frame border would be nice either!

Is this, what you mean? This is already possible using negative first line indents in combination with the bulleted list feature.

It’s long time ago, that I posted this. Only a few seem to be interested. Now the time of XSLT3 arises:
    https://www.booknetcanada.ca/blog/2019/1/9/exciting-new-features-in-xslt-3-for-book-publishers

So, Adobe please update XSLT engine of InDesign!

Yes, please – that would be a huge improvement. In this context, I’d like to bring a long hold wish of mine back into memory: a kerning editor, which honors left and right text frame border, so I can define my own set of optical margin alignment.

Need more info  ·  Anonymous responded

Hi All, thanks for this feature suggestion.

If I understand this correctly the idea here is that you need a faster way to be able to apply Master Pages to the various pages in the document. One use case is that you want to apply a particular master page to Even and Odd pages.

Are there other such scenarios too, where you need more support. It would be helpful if you can mention other such scenarios.

    Thanks

Automatic page breaks inside a table cell (see MS Word).

It's a pain and very error-prone to cut the tail of the text even in the middle of a hyphenated word, add a new table row and paste it into that new row. It's bad and it's wrong when exporting the text and if your table reflows because of corrections before it, it produces errors, but up to now it's the only thing you can do to have a pagebreak inside a table cell.
