1. "Share for Review" lost for documents accessed via UNC paths

   Indesign 16.2.1 won't maintain the link between the indesign document (on a server) and the "Shared for Review" online file if the Indesign document was opened via a UNC path when you make the "share for review" link.

2. Random blocks of color, screen skipping

   InDesign v16.2.1 - Started getting large blocks of color in my InDesign docs - never in the same file, appears randomly but always when scrolling. And this morning, a weird "skipping" thing happened - see attached. I've updated my iOS, un- and reinstalled InDesign to no avail.

3. The Same Adobe Font is Considered Different for Different Users

   InDesign Version: 16.2.1

   Steps to reproduce issue: Open an InDesign file, set font to "Montserrat" (the Adobe Font version), save. Another person opens up the file. Instead of displaying "Montserrat", the font shows as "Montserrat (OTF)" in the font menu and all the text is highlighted red because that "font" isn't activated. If that person changes the font to "Montserrat" on their computer and saves the file, the same issue happens on my end. It's essentially treating both of our Montserrat fonts as different fonts, even though we're both using Adobe Fonts.

   Expected result: Montserrat will display properly when either of us open the file up.

   Actual result: Montserrat will only display properly for the person who sets the font and not the other person.

4. Document not opening properly - page is a small icon and whole screen is coloured

   My document was fine, but Indesign was glitchy, so I updated.
   Now I get this when I open the doc.
   Yesterday it did open properly after a wait. But today its the same.

   I've got a deadline follks - this isn't funny.

6. Artefact issues with Accessible PDFs.

   Elements on the master page are not tagged as artifacts, according to PAC 3.
   Not even with a corresponding style that has this property.

   This behavior also applies to these elements on a normal page:
   - Table borders
   - Paragraph border
   - Column rules
   ...

   This is a big problem because these elements have to be defined manually as artifacts. This can quickly be hundreds of elements.

11. Linked PDF images not exporting to PDF correctly

    InDesign (16.2.1), Windows 10

    Logos saved as PDFs and placed in an InDesign file appear with a gray vertical line on the right side of the image frame when the file is converted to PDF. There is no stroke or fill on the image frame; further, I checked a PDF with the same PDF logo in it that I created a month ago and it did not have the line. The line appears when the PDF is printed.

    We found that reverting back to v16.1 resolved the issue. Also, relinking a JPG or TIF of the logo worked in 16.2.1, but obviously less efficient.

12. missing simple guillemets German version

    When selecting in "Wörterbuch" the alternative German quotation mark - the reversed guillemets (».«) I can't select the simple version (›.‹).
    Only the French version is selectable (‹.›) …
    No other DTP software, like Quark XPress, Framemaker or ViaDesigner, has this bug, it's only Indesign …

13. InDesign 2021 v16.2.1: Glitchy preview on opening

    InDesign 2021 v16.2.1: I have been experiencing viewing issues with the latest update. Whenever I open a file the preview is either blank (grey) or doesn't show correctly/looks glitchy. This happens on all documents that were previously fine. The preview glitch appears periodically when I'm working on the document as well as first open so I have to either close the document and reopen or, strangely, turn on/off the rulers? I haven't seen this before – any help appreciated! I have attached an initial open and after I turn on rulers screenshots to demonstrate. Please can you help?

14. Comment pins move in spread with content

    At the moment, pins on content in a story do not move with that text if the text ends up being pushed onto another page. This means we end up with seemingly random pins floating on the page.

    Please allow pins to remain bound to their original location as text moves and flows into other pages.

15. New Bug Indesign 16.2.1 | Contours conversion error (inside/outside aligned)

    This bug seems to only affect older InDesign documents and graphic elements from them that were created before the update to 16.2.1. The bug can NOT be reproduced in completely new 16.2.1 documents with newly created elements!

    What happens:
    For example, if you create a circle with the dimensions 200X200mm and a 10mm thick outline, this results in a circle with the dimensions
    210X210mm

    But if you now change the contour orientation from center to inside, the dimensions change unproportionally in height:

    Instead of 200 x 200 mm the circle becomes quasi
    an "egg" 200 x 199.999 mm

    If you now set the contour to 8mm, the element becomes proportional again.
    However: if the contour orientation is now changed again from
    "Aligned inside" to "Aligned outside", a conversion error happens again.

    Instead of the dimensions 216 x 216 mm
    the dimensions are now 216 x 215.999 mm.

    In these cases, the dimensions cannot be corrected by direct input in the control palette or by clicking on the arrow keys!!!!!

    If you enter 216 mm via direct input, 215.999 mm stubbornly appears.
    If you click on the arrow keys, nothing happens in the height value! But if you change the width value now, if you have coupled the proportions (by means of the lock)
    from 216 mm
    to 216.001 mm
    and with each desperate click further 216.002 mm;
    and further. ...,003/...,004 !!!!

    Very very annoying!!!!!!!! We are the BORG! Resistance is futile!

16. TOC is not reading page number correcting.

    The title I'm creating TOC from contains the 'current page number' marker.

    It doesn't matter the format of the numbering I have set, ie. a, b, c or i. ii. iii or 001, 002, 003.

    it will only show the absolute number of the page in the document.

    InDesign 2021 version: 16.2.1.102

    Drag when using Type tool -> no text box create
    Using Type tool, Double click the text inside a text box -> unable to select the word
    Using Type tool, drag within the paragraph inside a text box -> unable to select the texts, instead will move the whole text box

19. BUG : Red panels and shifted elements

    It appears randomly, often when I open a second ID file, the first opened get some red panels and all the elements are shifted.
    The only way to solve this for now is to close the document and reopen it.

20. InDesign UI frame changes colour

    I guess this is a bug but i actually think it could be a good idea. Attached are a couple of examples of what's happened on my screen from time to time. The UI takes on a florescent colour - and all palette names/numbers, etc change to this colour.
    Small appearing UI's seems to have been quite a big topic in recent years - especially as we all move toward 4K screens. So this 'bug', if that's what it is, seems to work really well for me and gives the whole workspace much more clarity. But i just have no idea how i trigger it! I wonder if this could be useful to Adobe in solving a lot of people's criticisms lately?
