Eyedropper tool doesn't work when InDesign is on 2nd monitor
I'm using a 2nd monitor attached to my laptop. When InDesign is on the 2nd monitor, the eyedropper tool cannot select any colors, but if all I do is move InDesign to my laptop's screen (the main screen), then the eyedropper works again. Version 19.0.1 on Windows 11.

Indesing 2024: Opentype Superscript not working for Endnote Markers
Indesign 2024:
Opentype Superscripts don’t apply to endnote marker via character styleWhen working with end- or footnotes, instead of using the default settings, I usually create specific character styles for the markers in the text.
In these settings, I use the typeface’s native opentype settings to define a superscript number.In the latest version 19.0.1, I can define all these features in a character style and it works when applying to a number, but the character style can’t be applied to an endnote marker (it however works with a footnote marker).

Share for review comments moved after file update
Comments are no longer in the correct position after update to INDD file.... I entered a few line returns and replaced a space with a non-breaking space after a few words, going manually through the search and replace. Going backwards with the edits doesn't help.

Selection tool issue
The selection tool don't allow to move objects but only to select and resize them.
Also, moving a selection of multiple objects, with images in it, with the Direct Selection tool it only move the frames but not the images inside them.

InDesign do not read EXIF metadata on captions from jpeg exported from PS
Tested on Adobe InDesign 19.0.1 on macOS Ventura
Steps:
I save an image on PS as JPEG and preserve the metadata
I place that image on InDesign.
The file info panel is showing the metadata
I configure and generate the caption with the ISO speed
The caption do not show any info about the ISO speedWhen working with psd or pdf it works fine. When working with JPEG not created from PS or Lightroom works fine.

Reading order of footnotes is incorrect for multi-column layouts
InDesign is not placing footnotes correctly in the reading order when generating accessible PDFs for layouts with more than one column. Instead of placing the footnotes at the bottom of the page's reading order, InDesign is placing them at the end of the first column, interrupting the reading order.
Also, after correcting the reading order by placing the footnote(s) at end, Acrobat reports a 'Tagged Annotations - Failed' error for the footnote or the first footnote in a block of footnotes when it is a hyperlink.

Incorrect coding of ligatures in placed Illustrator files
InDesign is not encoding ligatures in placed Illustrator files correctly when generating accessible PDFs via the Export/Adobe PDF (Interactive) command. Accessibility Check in Acrobat reports all ligatures in Illustrator files as 'Character Encoding - Failed'.

End nested style here character appears in bookmarks as empty rectangle
When I use End nested style character in headings, these are exported into bookmarks as empty characters. They have no meaning in bookmarks.

InDesign links panel not working since 12/8/2023 update
Since updating Classic InDesign yesterday, I cannot create links at all, not in the menu and not in the links panel. Win11, InDesign 18.5.1x64. Lost all linkage functioning within InDesign files.

Super heavy single page indesign file; add a purge button
This single page file without any image or vector has 398 MB. How is it possible?
I found a solutionL I exported a IDML file and then opened it on ?Indesign and saved a new INND. It worked.
But it still: Indesign needs a "purge" button.

first keystroke is missing after pasting text
The Show Paste Options setting eats the first keystroke after pasting text. Turn this setting OFF and the problem disappears. Turn it on and you will think you're going crazy.
InDesign CC 19.0.1 on macOS Ventura 13.6.1 (22G313) on Apple Silicon M2 Pro
Create a new document with a text field. Make sure Show Paste Options is checked (in Preferences » Clipboard Handling... » Show Paste Options)
In this example (see attached video), after pasting text, I typed "5" twice. I should see two "5"s following the pasted text.
The first "5" does not register. Only the second "5" appears…

Apple text replacement does not work in indesign

Sonoma 14.2
Indesign 19.0.1Mac text replacement does not work in Indesign nor Illustrator.
How can I change this? What is blocking this in the Adobe programs?
(EXAMPLE: on every other program on the Mac when I type wf, it replaces it with the word wayfinding)

table indent
19.0.1 - The default table loads with an 8 pica left indent. Creating a table from text also loads an 8 pica indent but I could not find a way to alter that. In the styling it showed 0 indent. I was able to adjust the default table but not the one I created from text. I deleted preferences and there was no change. Please fix.

Scrolling issues
Scrolling up and down in a document and in the pages widow etc stopped working after v 19.0.1 was installed. Same with alt + scroll to zoom in and out. (PC/Windows).

Indesign Crashes when scrolling
When I scroll pages using the keyboard, Indesign keeps crashing. The document has photos, but not excessively high resolution and I'm viewing on typical display mode.

document window turns white while scoping within text box
after upgrade to sonoma 14.1.2 (running INDD 19.0.1), while scoping text - everything inside the document window goes away to white only and, reappears when releasing input device. this makes it impossible to select exact sections of text. it does not occur while double clicking to select an entire line. It did not occur until this morning after upgrading OS.

Relink missing image - InDesign shows wrong file name
If an image (a link) is missing in the InDesign document, then there is a red circle with a white question mark on the image in the document and on the link in the Links panel. When I double click on the red circle in the Links panel, a file explorer window opens, and that window shows the right image file name in the "File name" text field. Fonts only showing in drop down, cannot type them directly in
InDesign 18.5
Issue:
Highlight text
Click on the font Window (mine is displayed on right)
begin to type in installed or adobe font, font does not populateWhen I type in a font, I expect to be able to populate it
Wen I try to finish typing the font in the searchbar, it doesn't let me type in the next letter and just gives me a different font. Some fonts don't show up or do once and never again, yet are in font dropdown. This includes both installed OTC and installed Adobe fonts.
