  1. Can't quickly index individual words

    Hi,

    After a discussion in the help forum we came to the conclusion that my problem could be an issue.

  2. Issue with import jpeg

    Picture are distortionned after imported it.

    Steps:
    1-Open file
    2-import pictures
    3-Do Command W
    4-Esc

    Expect result: PIctures stay the same size

    Actual result: Pictures are distorted

  3. Indesign fails to create new PDF's from imported Xerox scans

    tested on pc version Adobe Indesign CS6 8.1

    All imported pdf color scans from Xerox WC78xx copiers fail to create a new PDF in Indesign when using 'High quality Print' setting in Indesign PDF preferences.
    The only workaround is choosing convert to CMYK (or press quality) in Adobe indesign pdf preferences.
    Xerox now knows about this (I contacted them as first) but they say it's not their fault, Indesigns handels their scans wrong.

    Please help ASAP, as this affects all users of indesign with Xerox machines (a lot!)

  5. Custom GREP-queries are suddenly away

    I had a nice collection of custom GREP queries. But suddenly they are away. They were numbered from 1 to 18. I'm very down to do this all again … Is there a way to find this again? Where are the custom queries saved? I updated from macOS 10.12.4 to macOS 10.12.5. Maybe that's the reason? Or is the reason that I had numbered them?

  6. Rendering of Bitmaps with High Sierra not as smooth as they should be.

    Since upgrading to High Sierra, I am finding in High Quality Display, bitmaps are not rendering smoothly on screen or in print.

    Exporting to PDFs gets over this, but not great when composing, and needing to see images as they will be.

  7. Fond de page en gabarit qui se transforme en bloc image dans les pages du document lorsqu'on importe des images dans ces pages.

    Sous InDesign 2017.1 build 12.1.0.56.

    Je dois créer 8 panneaux différents comportant 1 logo blanc par panneau sur fond noir.

    Pour créer mon fond noir et l'appliquer aux 8 pages de mon document en même temps, j'utilise un bloc vide avec couleur de remplissage noir sur le gabarit A (par défaut à la création du document). Je m'attends donc, comme d'habitude, à ce que ce fond soit en quelque sorte verrouillé sur les 8 pages de mon document et que je ne puisse intervenir dessus qu'en me positionnant sur mon gabarit.

    Ensuite j'importe tous mes 8 logos en PDF que…

  8. inDesign buttons not show

    Some interactive buttons not show in acrobat DC. I have to click on something (e.g. the zoom) for showing all interactive buttons. Huge bug!

    Tested on windows and mac.

  9. [InCopy] Sequence of stories is jumbled in Galley or Story View but not in Layout View

    We use InCopy for book production. When we send out an Indesign/InCopy Package to our editors, sometime the sequence of the stories seems to be random. It's all fine in Layout View. This makes reading and edition in Story or Galley View very hard.

  10. Indesign crashes on duplicate spread action if document contains table with images

    Steps to reproduce
    1. Create a text frame in the document.
    2. Insert a table with 4x4 layout.
    3. Place 3 images in 2nd, 3rd and 4th column in the first row.
    4. Now perform "Duplicate spread" action in the pages panel twice.

    Expected result
    - Spread should get duplicated.

    Actual result
    - Indesign crashes when duplicate spread action is performed two times consecutively.

  11. paragraph shading in indesign cc 2017.1

    ID version: indesign cc 2017.1 (12.1.0.56)
    OS: Windows 8.1 Pro
    Processor: I5 with 8gb ram.

    When we convert the ID cc 2015 docuemnt into ID cc 2017.1 files, paragraph shading colors are changed from its original color applied in cc 2015.

  12. Second window-column disappears

    On the right side I have two columns of windows (colors paragraph effects pathfinder and so on …). I stick them together. From time to time the second, inner column disappears when I start ID. So I have to collect the windows again. But when I collect one window I need the whole Window collection appears suddenly …

  14. Paragraph Panel – Unwanted Text replacement

    Please fix this bug!!!

    When I go to manually change the "Space before" or "Space After", it replaces all my selected text rather than the value I have selected to change within the panel.

    This is IMPOSSIBLE to work with.

  15. Table headers disappear when pasting

    Several times now I've cut & pasted a table from one part of my document to another only to find the headers disappear. Inserting a row makes the headers reappear.

    I'm usig 12.1.0.56 x64 build.

  16. InDesign 2017 Froze and Will Not Shutdown or Quit

    I am using InDesign 2017 on a Dell Windows computer. I was synching/saving a document and it froze. I shut down the computer but when I reopened the computer the document was still there but I could not do anything with it. I cannot quit. I cannot use my mouse with it. It is frozen as if permanently in a state of incomplete saving at 75%. What can I do to rectify this?

  17. CC Files in InDesign not showing up

    I shared files using CC Files for teams using my work account, and the sync with my account on my home computer in the user folder/creative cloud files, however they don't show up in the START workspace when I launch InDesign. How do I get these files to show up in the application?

    where in the Indesign cc is the option "show import parameters" - in the window, the command "put" does not have it at all

  19. Blocked into portrait mode

    My computer's touchscreen and, accidentally touching The screen, I pressed something that made all my pages go into portrait mode and I can't find a way to get them back into landscape mode. Please help! I need to finish my portfolio for tomorrow and this bug is really disturbing my work! I've already tried changing the orientation by going into file>documents setup, but the settings say my pages are already in landscape mode, even though they clearly aren't!
