  1. Purchasing Stockphoto's doesnt work

    When clicking on the shopping chart, by selecting a picture from adobe stock, nothing happens.

  2. Text Boxes Appear Empty

    Just downloaded v16.0. Now text boxes in my existing files, which are filled with paragraph style-d text, appear empty for me. Everyone else on my team is able to open the file and see the text that is there. When you try typing into the boxes, nothing happens and the cursor does not move.

  3. InDesign 2021 doesnt load 2020 inDesign files correctly - all the fonts and images are missing and uneditable

    Every time I try to open my 2020 files in 2021, the images and font are missing from the document. the fonts are installed but for some reason text and images just are missing from the converted file.
    The first attached file is a screenshot of what the document looks like in inDesign 2021. The second attachment is what the file is supposed to look like, and does in 2020

  4. last window size unremembered when application frame turned off

    InDesign on Mac 16.102 will not remember last open document size when Application Frame is turned off. When no document is currently open and I want to open a new document it always fills the entire space on my monitor between the tools on the left and the pallets on the right. I have to manually drag the new document window to the size I want. It's not convenient and user friendly! If the Application frame is turned on - it WILL remember. But as a Mac user I want that frame turned off - like it used to be.

  5. Share for review feature box shows up blank

    1/10 times it works, but most of the time it does not. I have tried logging in and out of my accounts and restarting my computer, but it still isn't working for me today.

  7. can't open file format psd, jpeg or in design file

  8. Command & Space Problems

    Updated to MACOS - Catalania, now animated zoom doesnt work anymore by holding COMMAND & SPACE! InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop can`t do it anymore. Also holding SPACE to move the Paper doesnt work anymore.

  9. Index sorting in Book-document in Danish/Norwegian

    I'm using InDesign version 16.0. There is a problem with sorting alphabetically when using Danish/Norwegian with Book-function. This only happens from the second letter and on.

    The first letters in words sort correctly.

    Here's an example for the letter Ø, which should sort after Z and Æ:

    ‘Tørres’ is sorted before ‘Torstein’ (which means ø is here sorted under o). This only happens when sorting an index from two or more documents linked with the Book-function.

  10. text turns into Symbols

    When I place a document from Word into InDesign and apply a paragraph style the fonts all change to Symbol font. This has been going on for years through multiple versions of the program. Can you please fix it? Or explain how to avoid it?

  11. publish online

    When I try to publish online it comes up with an error#39. I believe it's a problem with the proxy settings and my IT team are trying to fix this but they need to know what the network requirements are for it to work properly

  12. issues with video content being supported from Indd output to viewabiity and interface as pdfs in acrobat

    make it so pdf's can have view-ability and functioning controler when exported from Indd. This used to work but has gone away. If you are phasing out flash please post a replacement. We dont all use digital videos linked from the internet and dont always have an internet connection.

    Every time I try to save an InDesign file my Macbook Pro Crashes to Black. Files seem to be recovered upon reboot, but reboot takes a while - especially when you save a dozen times a day or more.

  14. Images Blurry when PDFing from Book

    I'm working with catalog documents in an .indb file and when PDFing from the book, without any other files open, all of the images come out looking like they are unlinked.

    Images are all high resolution and linked in their individual files
    I am using press quality/X1A presets with no compression set
    Preflight shows no errors

    The only way to get clear images is to have every single INDD from the book open and THEN make the PDF, which, to me, defeats the purpose of the book functionality.

  15. Separation Preview Bug

    Separation preview will scrambled when you jump to next page and turn any colour separation off, the text and image from previous page will show on the current display page.

    This issue has beed existed since version 2017 to 2020. I saw some users are facing same issue from previous version and not been fix all these years.

  16. ID 2020 - Indent in combination with wrap text around an image not working

    In Indesign 2020, whenever I want to wrap text next to an image, but the text also has an indent the text jumps from the supposed position.
    In Indesign 2019 this did not happen. The text was wrapped nicely next to the image, the way you should expect.

    My guess what happens here, is that the indent specs are applied not the the edge of the frame, but to the edge of the text. Which corrupts the spacing between the image and the text.

    I'm working with the latest 2020 version on iMac with Catalina

    This issue is addressed with a new option "Honor Text Indents in addition to Text Wrap" in Preferences > Composition dialog. This option is ON for new docs created in ID2023 and needs to be turned ON for docs created in older versions of InDesign when opened in ID2023.

    My InDesign version is 16.0.1 x 64.
    More than 200 files "AdobeFnt22.lst" are created in my google drive automatically many times.

  18. Editing a Gradient Swatch affects orientation

    When a Gradient Swatch is edited, the orientation / position of that gradient on existing objects is reset. Changing colors / knots should not affect the position of applied gradients.

  19. Place dialogue blank

    The place dialogue is often a nearly blank/greyed-out box. Sometime ID crashes, sometimes it allows me to a place the file through the dialogue, sometimes the dialogue disappears when I click the pasteboard. It happens seemingly randomly.

  20. Variable Font not working in InDesign 2020

    We came along a severe bug within InDesign 2020 and Variable Font.

    The issue has been fixed in the latest release of InDesign – InDesign 2021. The fix was also available in the previous version of InDesign – version 15.1.2
    Please update to either of these versions of InDesign to get the fix.
