1. Menu not appearing when clicking toolbar hamburger button

   I got the problem that the menu that should appear when you click on an "hamburger" button in the top right corner of a toolbar doesn't appear.
   This happens on a second screen when you got more than one screen/monitor, and the main screen has higher resolution than the second one. It also only happens to toolbars that are positioned near the bottom edge of the second screen and where the menu height is larger than the distance between the "hamburger" button and the bottom edge of the screen.

2. Stalling

   Within the last couple weeks, Indesign has been acting very glitchy for me. I've never had these problems before, but when I open a document the application seems to stall for a bit. This is happening in all my documents (so it isn't one file that is the issue). Indesign doesn't ever crash, but seems to get hung up within the first couple minutes of use.

   My Adobe Indesign updated to 2022, but my User Interface font is very small and I can't increase the size. The choice to increase UI size is greyed out (see attached screen shot). Any ideas on the issue?

6. [Error: "You do not have access to Publish Online Service"]Previously published documents via Publish Online no longer work.

   I have been working with publish online services and have spent the past few days publishing some document and everything works.

   Suddenly today, I began receiving this error when trying to publish online "You cannot use this feature right now. Please check your network connectivity."

   Additionally, when I try to access the publish online dashboard I see this error: "You do not have access to Publish Online service."

7. Spell Checker

   Hello
   I have a problem with spell checking in Indesing. The issue is that it does not correct words that are wrongly accented, for example, in Spanish, the word "como" when it should have an accent or the word "mas" when it should have an accent.
   Let me explain:
   The sentence (always in Spanish): ¿como te va la vida? should be written like this: ¿cómo te va la vida? and when I run the spell checker it does not detect the word "como", since it should have an accent. However, if I write ¿como te va la bida? it does detect the word "bida" as a spelling mistake, but it does not detect the word "como". I have all the correction options activated and the language of the paragraph style is Spanish. It also happens the same with the words "está" "ésta" "and with words in singular that should be in plural and vice versa, for example in the sentence "los campo de trigo" should be "los campos de trigo" and it does not detect it as an error.

   I believe that since you pay a monthly fee, the programs should work properly, otherwise, you should compensate for the hours of work lost in spell-checking in an artisanal way.

8. update package

   Instead of making a new package every time it would be really handy to be able to update an existing package.
   proposed Use Case/action:
   a new menu item: Update Package… > Show package in Finder/Windows Explorer > Only the items that are not in the existing package will be added (the items in the package that are not used will be kept in the updated package)

9. Gap tool

   Hi,
   I have problem with gap tool.
   I place multiple images and set gap tool . Between images i have invalid cursor . I didnt see gap indicator between images. Anyone have an idea how to solve the problem.

10. Saving BOOK file (.indb) acts as SAVE AS

    Adobe InDesign v16.1 (12 Feb 2021 release)
    Windows 10

    This bug has appeared again, after disappearing for a couple of versions. But it was in a previous version a few months ago.

    When the Book properties panel is open, I make changes to my Book file (.indb) and then close the Book panel or select "Save" from the panel menu. It asks me do I want to save.

    Yes, I want to save... but the dialog box is acting like a Save As... It's asking me for a file name, then asking me to overwrite the existing file, instead of simply saving the existing file as a regular Save should do.

11. Paste Discretionary Line Break Malfunction

    The discretionary break character is an awesome addition. But I think it came with a bug:

    When typesetting text that contains URLs, I use a GREP search to find all URL strings in order to globally apply a character style with Language set to [No Language] in order to suppress any auto-hyphenation.

    I then use some search-replaces to globally insert discretionary breaks in places I don't mind URLs breaking, such as preceding periods and hard hyphens. This technique can still leave too-loose or too-tight letter-spacing when URLs contain long unbroken letter strings, and in those cases I insert discretionary line breaks where I want them (often recapitulating hyphenation in actual words contained in URLs, or just wherever if the URL contains a long random character string of some sort).

    ANYWAY. Sometimes, unpredictably, if I use Type: Insert Break Character: Discretionary Line Break to insert a discretionary line break, then highlight the character and copy it, and then try to use Paste to insert the discretionary line break character elsewhere, instead of inserting the discretionary line break what happens is the letter immediately following the insertion point gets deleted.

12. cannot scroll to preview corner options

    InDesign 16.3 CC download, Win64: In previous versions of InDesign I could select a text or image box, open the 'corner options' drop-down list, and arrow/scroll through the options to preview the effect of each on the selected box. In InDesign CC, I can arrow through the list but no previews are shown on the selected box. Instead, it takes 12 clicks to re-open and select each of the six options. I have posted this problem in the community, with responses from Bill Silbert and Steve Werner. They concur that it's an InDesign/Windows Bug.

14. Type tool still lags when hitting the (T) shortcut key

    Hi, the type key short cut bug seems to have been fixed but when you hit the shortcut to bring up the type tool it is still very laggy. Any thought on this?

    When disabling character in the settings it is instant. But i don't want to keep having to do this.

15. Colour Shift in Indesign CC 2021 16.4.0.54

    I upgraded last week to Indesign CC 2021. When I export ads from from Indesign that contain tiffs with a coloured background and sit on a background of the same CMYK colour values in Indesign, I encounter an issue which didn't exist in previous versions - when I output a pdf or jpg from the ad there is a noticeable colour shift in the image. I have been outputting ads using this coloured background method for years with no issue.

    This has worked fine previously in CC 2020 and earlier versions of Indesign but it appears to be something to do with exporting files like this in general rather than just an issue with pdfs themselves.

    To work around this in the interim I had to place clipping paths on the images, which solved the problem. It also creates a thin bar of colour on the right of the image picture box.

    A couple of people had a look at this in the Community Support Forum and had exactly the same issues, their conclusion was the same as mine, this appears to be a bug.

    Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

17. "Share for review" somehow linked to old file

    Had an older file that was Shared for Review and used it as a template. Saved the file under a different name, another user made some changes to the file, and this other user then Shared for Review. But the Share for Review under the new file says "You cannot access comments because another user has an active review for this document". But if i open the review under the newer file it takes me to the old file. Neither of us can see the comments under REVIEW in InDesign. We can see the comments if we go to the email link. Any help on this situation. Or how do we close the old review?

18. InDesign Workspace Keeps Disappearing

    Since the latest update of InDesign every time I leave the program and then come back my side panel workspace goes away. I have to select a different workspace and then reselect my saved space to get my setup to show up.

19. Sporadic, haphazard emboldening of footer font on document pages

    Adobe InDesign v17.0.1
    2020 Mac Mini, Apple M1 chip, 16 GB memory
    macOS: Big Sur, V11.5.2

    I have a multipage document with a folio and page number in the footer. The footer text is a regular weight Helvetica Neue LT Std (OT) font, and the folios (page numbers) are bold; the bold is nested into the paragraph style for the footers with a GREP designation. The footer text boxes are NOT active on the pages but are linked to the parent pages. Expected result: all footers match the font weight of the footer in the parent page to which they’re linked, defined by the paragraph style.

    Actual result: Sporadically and haphazardly, the entire footer on one page will be bold; this appears, disappears, and reappears while scrolling through the document. I closed the document, quit InDesign, and reopened the document, and found that the issue appeared on a different page. The problem is that it's also showing up when exporting a PDF. This is a big issue, because I don't want this printing—and never know where it will show up.

20. Share for review won't update link with Indesign version 17.0.1

    I've tried quitting, signing out of Adobe, restarting my computer, exporting PDFs and more and nothing seems to solve this issue. I only have been experiencing this consistently with the latest version. I'm on a Mac with Big Sur version 11.5.2 as well and it's not limited to one document, it happens for the majority of my documents.
