As the other commenter pointed out, multiple changes are appearing on the master, not the page where the correction is indicated.

We have recently started development work on Convert PDF to INDD. Going forward, we will keep adding more functionality and refining it.
The feature is available as a Beta feature in InDesign 19.5 Beta version, available via the CCD app.
Note: For now, it is available only when InDesign's install language is English (North America or International).
Please provide us feedback on this Beta feature. Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

An error occurred while saving the comment Melissa Marek commentedI suggested this over a decade ago (!) and even had an in-depth email exchange with someone at InDesign. Quark has had this ability for as long as InDesign has existed and the kern table function is often cited as a perk over INDD. I wish they would implement this feature. It's so helpful. https://www.opticentre.net/exiqze/images2/opticentre/pic7.gif

An error occurred while saving the comment Melissa Marek commentedJust FYI: You can output a PDF with outlined fonts by creating a preset. Here's a quick answer from another part of the forum:
In case it helps you, you *sort of* can already do this, though it's not very intuitive. Go to EDIT >> TRANSPARENCY FLATTENER PRESETS. Click NEW. Give it a name you'll remember like "Outline Everything" Check the box for CONVERT ALL TEXT TO OUTLINES and hit OK to save that preset. Now when you go to export your PDF, in the export options, go to ADVANCED and choose your "Outline Everything" preset from the "Transparency Flattener" dropdown menu. You'll probably have to go back and tweak the settings in your flattener preset a few times to get exactly what you want.
This request for uneven column widths in a text frame is so old, it's probably fallen off the radar, yet is still crucial. Word has had this feature for as long as I can remember. We should be able to do it in InDesign.
