Please add a history panel to InDesign, like Photoshop's
This is a very helpful feature, saving time and enabling the user to track what they've done. Thank you.
History panel has been added to the latest version 19.5 of InDesign 2024. Please update your copy of InDesign from CCD app to this latest version to start using this new feature.

That's great, thank you for adding this!
Now, please make it possible to split table cells/rows across pages. The whole world is still waiting (and paying!) for that one. (https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601021-adobe-indesign-feature-requests/suggestions/33854788-option-to-split-table-rows-across-pages) -

Would also like a "shift-option highlight" so I can highlight multiple words, phrases, sentences, paragraphs that are NOT contiguous so I can style all with one click.

Fair dinkum, what are you waiting for Adobe? It's not rocket surgery or brain science!

I don't know what's involved in building this feature, but honestly, I'm very surprised that we can't simply select previous steps in the workflow.

It would make life so much easier for us to have a HISTORY panel. Photoshop does a fabulous job with this and I sorely miss it in InDesign. Yes, I know I can CTRL/Z, but the problem with that is that this is difficult to negotiate on a long document with many changing elements. It is very hard to remember just where I changed a style, or exactly which changes InDesign is making with each CTRL/Z. It is also very time consuming and it would really be a huge help with my workflow and save me a lot of time if this feature was available.

There are two extensions that do this already, DTP Tools - History for Adobe InDesign/InCopy and History Panel by Incubus Software in the Adobe Exchange for ID 2018 to Date.

It would be awesome if we could see where we are when we press multiple undos. I can do this so easily in Photoshop, but in InDesign I have no idea where I am in my workflow and the ability to go back and forth in a History Panel would make life SO much easier.
Thanks

Photoshop has a history panel, extremely useful when undoing edits, or simply reviewing them, etc. This would be awesome in InDesign, and all other Adobe programs too.

Yes! also missing the history panel in Indd. Please add.

Please. It's just too convenient to have a history tab, and you have it in your other programs so why not InDesign?

I also agree, it needs to be added. Could be timesaver when a mistake is made.
