The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2025(v20.3.1.073). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.
If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application click on the context menu on the top right, and click on Check for App Updates.

Many internal as well as external factors can cause the InDesign application to crash/freeze/hang. A few workarounds are listed at Fix crash issues with InDesign.
We completed the investigation and came up with the following: Either the issue has been resolved in the most recent release of InDesign (Refer to InDesign Release notes), the issue was intermittent at the time of reporting and is no longer reproducible, or the InDesign version mentioned in the report is no longer covered by Creative Cloud Support Policy.
We would recommend you upgrade to the latest version as it is more robust. If you are still facing this issue even after updating it, either submit the crash report(Refer to Submitting crash reports) to us or Contact Adobe support.

If you are not already part of InDesign's Prerelease program and would like to join and try out the latest Prerelease build, please do the following:
* Go to https://www.adobeprerelease.com/
* Sign in with your Adobe ID (the Email ID associated with your Adobe account)
* Select ‘Available Programs’
* Find ‘InDesign Prerelease’ and click ‘Join’
* Once you’ve joined, go to the Creative Cloud Desktop Application on your machine, click on 'Apps' in the section on the left
* Select the 'Pre-release' tab – there you will find the InDesign (Prerelease) build
* To check the Build number of the Prerelease build, hover the cursor over the name – you will see the Build number 'v_________'
* Select ‘Install’

The ability to find colors in documents in now available in InDesign’s latest release 16.0.
It can be found in a new tab of Find/Change dialog – Color.

Hi All, thanks for this feature suggestion.
If I understand this correctly the idea here is that you need a faster way to be able to apply Master Pages to the various pages in the document. One use case is that you want to apply a particular master page to Even and Odd pages.
Are there other such scenarios too, where you need more support. It would be helpful if you can mention other such scenarios.

Second letter disappears after an opening letter: Under certain conditions, the second letter after the opening letter in a word vanishes. This issue affects the appearance and natural flow of the texא
All the Hebrew users could not use the recent versions because of these critical bugs. We are using version 18.5.4 and can't upgrade InDesign. It is very frustrating! Please fix these bags. we are asking to fix them for a very long time.
Inability to select vowel points (nikkud) or other diacritics: When trying to select vowel points or other diacritical marks, only the letter itself gets selected, making it difficult to properly adjust or move the nikkud and diacritics independently.

היעלמות סימני פיסוק ואותיות בקובצי PDF מיוצאים: במצבים שונים בעבודה עם טקסט בעברית, סימני פיסוק מסוימים (למשל, נקודות, פסיקים וכו') ואותיות בודדות נעלמים בקובץ ה-PDF המיוצא הסופי.
אות שניה נעלמת לאחר אות פתיחה: בתנאים מסוימים, האות השנייה אחרי אות הפתיחה במילה נעלמת. נושא זה משפיע על המראה והזרימה הטבעית של הטקסט.
