Importing text styles from previous versions of InDesign cause a freeze
When I try to import text styles from files I made just a couple weeks ago in August, InDesign immediately bogs down (slow mouse movement for 1 second), and then freezes.
I am able to successfully import text styles from InDesign files created with previous versions of InDesign (<14.0) when I install and run InDesign 13.1.1, but have been unsuccessful with v14.

Vertical Table Lines in White (defined in the front, bevore horizontal lines) got overruled
short:
Tables, vertical lines white (in front), horizontal lines in black (in the back)
after undefined cause: horiziontal in front, vertical in the back.
Workaround: click (in top menue) on the white color again (for the vertical lines)describe:
There is some serious complications with vertical table lines! I want to have the vertical lines cut out of the horizontal ones. This is easy, with doing white vertical table-lines. Works perfekt. Document title field doesn't handle pasted content that includes paragraph characters.
In the File Information window: If you paste a document title into the Document title field (that includes a return character) it messes with the title field. Maybe you could add scroll bars to solve this…

Lines appearing around transparent objects InDesign 14.0.2 – when printed from pdf
Hi
URGENT: Our studio is currently experiencing an issue when printing PDF's exported from InDesign 14.0.2, which contain transparent images (Tiff and Psd). Flattening objects is an alternative fix, we know, but due to the nature of our business, we need to be able to import transparent images into InDesign, and have them printed, without any issues. Printing with lines occurs both on our studio printer as well as at our litho printer.
Please could you let us know if there is a workaround for this issue – an alternative setting we can use when exporting our pdf's.

numbering & sections should work on the same line
Allow second or third automatic lists on the same line.

layer order
InDesign is not honoring the layer stack. When I Select All and Create Outlines, some layers are moved to the top where they should not be. I have tried various configurations of the "... Remember Layers" options in the Layers panel, and this has no effect. This appears to be a bug.

ich weiß ja nicht auf welche Grundlage die Vorschläge/ „Verbesserungen beruhen sollen, aber es ist mit 0,0% Sinn programmiert.
Autokorrektur für Saunabesuch=Sahnebaiser? Oder Konzentrationsvermögen=Konzentrationslagern???Geht’s vielleicht auch besser? Oder wenigstens richtig?

a hand appears as a hover effect
Hello,
for both of my employees, a hand appears as a hover effect as soon as they move the mouse pointer into the Layers menu or the Pages menu. Then the mouse pointer freezes or slows down considerably.
Both use OSX Mojave together with the latest InDesign CC version.
How can we fix this problem?

Dans la palette Aperçu des Séparation, il faudrait une coche pour masquer ou afficher les objet utilisant la teinte repérage.
En effet il est très difficile de vérifier si un document contient accidentellement une teinte non désirée, car la teinte repérage peux masquer certains détails, comme par exemple un petit objet jaune quadri dans un document imprimé contenant plusieurs tons directs dont le jaune P109.

Forcepoint DLP affects copy and paste functionality in Adobe InDesign
Following deployment of Forcepoint data loss prevention software into our organisation, functionality for copy and paste in all versions of Adobe InDesign was lost. When pasting, text would lose all formatting and no longer be associated with style sheets. Anchored objects were lost. Some hidden characters e.g. indent to here were lost. Tables were also affected. If pasting into same document, pasted text would adopt whatever style sheet was currently selected. If pasting into a new document, text would default to Minion Pro. Issue with Character Formatting while using FN references
There is no bold in word file (RTF) although while flow to InDesign CS6 bold formatting applied, please check and provide solution for this issue.
Note: Issue occurred in text "<H2>[De vulneribus pectoris vel thoracis]."
after note reference 84 in the head level, which affects to next paragraph up to next formatting.Here i have attached docx instead of rtf file, since rtf files not allowed to post with bug request.

Paragraph Overrides
You used to be able to hover your mouse over a paragraph style in the paragraph style panel that had an override (plus sign). When you hovered over this style it would display a tool tip showing you what was overriding that style. This no longer works.

Making PDFs with files that have EPS graphics is slower than previous
Since the 14.0.3 update, I've noticed that exporting PDFs that contain EPS graphics is quite slower than under the previous version. Is this able to be confirmed?

InDesign Crashing when inserting footnote or carriage return
Running Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6 and inDesign CC 2019.
I have used InDesign since it replaced PageMaker, and PageMaker for a decade before that. It almost never misbehaves ... so I am grieved to report that I just crashed InDesign three times in a row.
I am editing an existing 20-page, single-column document. The first two times I tried to insert a footnote, InDesign crashed dramatically -- the windows disappeared and the program icon in my Dock no longer showed the dot indicating an open application. The third time I inserted a carriage return and InDesign crashed the same way.

We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding : Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.
We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.

Easier automatic page numbering
Make it easier to create automatic page numbering in InDesign. I would not have remembered to select the text frame, then navigate to TYPE > INSERT SPECIAL CHARACTERS > MARKERS > CURRENT PAGE NUMBER if it weren't for Google. This feature should not be an obscure tool, and should not be buried in panels. I feel like this feature should at least be in the Master Page Panel's drop down options (from the hamburger).

type kits
The option to have Adobe typekits is not showing up on any of my CC applications. I have the latest version of the CC subscription, however I no longer have the option to get adobe type kits.
