   Distribute spacing shortcuts doesn't work.

   The specified interval is ignored and it is arranged at 0 mm.

   There is no problem pressing the button of the panel.

   It is only when using shortcuts.

2. Use of CC Library Items - EPS files Export as grey boxes and are not properly linked and do not package properly

   When using CC Libraries logos, those logos being used are EPS files.
   Those files will export and be grey boxes as if a broken link.
   Try and access said file in the CC library and sometimes work and doesnt.

   Also these are not collected for output and saved as EPS files when packaging.

   We need to make sure the files are pulled from the CC library and included in the Package. THis would help when we send files to outside companies so they can utilize original content that has been created and put into CC Libraries.

3. Character Panel/Properties Panel font display font not correct for GREP-Styles

   Indesign CC 14.0.1, x64

   IF a GREP-style is at work formatting found text-style-ranges, then the font style dropdown in character panel/properties panel/control panel, may not correctly reflect the font in a selection . Please see screenshot attached.

   In the screenshot, a paragraph format grep style has applied a character style "bold" to the word "Foto:" and "Text:". The user has selected the characters OT from the word "Foto:" as an example. The character panel font style should say "Bold", ... as you can see "Light caps" is NOT correct.

4. white overprint with placed INDD

   I stumbled across a strange phenomenon today. I have an INDD file (file 1), which is placed as such in another INDD file (file 2). In this file 1 there is a Swiss cross, which is placed as EPS. If this placed file 1 is exported as PDFX-4, everything looks correct. However, if the file 2 with the placed file 1 is exported as PDFX-4, something strange happens. The Swiss cross disappears in the PDF or the white is set to overprint. However, this is neither stored in file 1 nor in the EPS.

   I have the following
   Option 1: Save CH cross as AI. Works
   Option 2: Re-place link from file 1 to file 2. Fixes the error but not the cause.
   Option 3: Export as PDFX-4, change the PDF standard to 1.5/1.7 or similar and then back to 1.6. Should not change anything, but now comes out correctly.

5. Footnotes flows on the following page even if there is still space on the page where is the reference number

   Indesign CC 14.0.1
   MAC OS High Sierra 10.13.6

   unfortunately it happens very often that the text of the footnotes flows on the following page even if there is still space (several lines) on the page where is the footnote’s reference number.
   for this bug, the result of many jobs is very bad

   Since you are using a Single-Column Text Frame, please see if unchecking the option “Span Footnotes Across Columns” in the Layout tab of Footnote Options dialog helps you overcome this issue.

6. High Quality Display Not working

   I have used INDD for about 15 years. Very experienced. but just upgraded it to CC2019 along with Mac OS Mojave 10.14.1. I can no longer see images in high quality (since the upgrades). I have triple checked everything. (image res, all INDD settings etc..) Is this a known issue?

   We guess you must have already checked your Display Performance settings. Could you confirm if it is set to HQ? Also, are all links up-to-date?

7. Page Margins Bug

   I am having a bug/issue with margins. In the page setup and the properties dialogues the measurements are showing as the defaults, but clearly they have been changed as noted in the attached file. This file was created in an earlier version of INDD.

   The Document Setup shows the Margins of the document when it was created or margins that will be assigned to any new pages you add to the document. However, you can override margins of individual pages by using the Margins and Columns dialog. And this is what has been done for the Page – the Top and Outside margins have been set to 25mm and 45mm respectively (changed from their default setting of 12.7mm).

8. Anchored Textframes with Auto adjusting height within a Textfreame

   1. CC 2018 – 13.1 (Can't update to CC 2019 right now because of Plugins)
   3. Create a big "master" Text frame
   4. Create 2 more text frames that auto adjust in height and fill them with lorem ipsum or any text.
   5. Paste those two text frames into the first created "master" Text frame
   6. Change the Text in the first Text frame (Add some empty lines or remove text) and see InDesign fail to update.
   7. Expected result: Should be pretty obvious... InDesign should not fail to update the current view.
   8. Actual Result: All Textframes are misaligned because InDesign does not update correctly – If you dare to move the "master" text frame now it gets even stranger. - The only way to update it to the correct look is to force InDesign to update the text frame by changing something like space after in the "master" text frame. (See video and Screenshot attached)

Usecase: for Example DatabasePublishing inline publication - where every here shown "Textframe" would be a product within a Page – But it is impossible to work like this! – I could be wrong but i have a feeling that this is happening since the disapearing Tablehead bug got fixed (unconfirmed...) i don't have the option to test it in an older or newer version - but we never had this issue before.

9. tiff transparency

   Transparency of TIFF files does not work in InDesgin. The same files worked well in Windows, Photoshop. I have to get around by batch transform TIFFs into PNGs in order to save the transparency. Please fix it.

   The attachment is one of my TIFF files that doesn't work with InDesign only.

10. Crash on using Align Distribute option

    Help!! I used to be able to get the page tool, highlight multiple pages across a spread in the pages palette, then set the space between pages in the toolbar and use the distribute button to get even spacing between pages. Since updating to InDesign 2019 (v14.0.1), the “use spacing” measurement field never completely shows in the info bar, and every time I hit the “distribute horizontal” button, InDesign IMMEDIATELY crashes. I am using MacOS 10.13.6. Please help, I use this feature A LOT.

    The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update 14.0.2 of InDesign 2019.
    If you are unable to see the update notification yet, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right of Creative Cloud desktop application and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.
    Once the update button is shown against InDesign, click on the button to update to Id 14.0.2.

11. text wrap issues

    Having text wrap issues. I tell the box to ignore text wrap but it seems to still be affected by text wrapping from other objects. OS10.14.1. InDesign14.0

12. Spell Check changing to Catalan (Spanish) half-way through

    Spell check is changing from English to Catalan on a particular page of my document every time I check it. I have tried changing it back and will select English and then it will still say Catalan and try to change all of my words to Spanish.

13. Apply Overrides to style using option click not working

    2. option-clicking on a style sheet should apply it with clear overrides.

14. XMP file info dialog box (for linked images) no longer shows up

    I clicked the flyout menu in the Links panel, and choose to display the XMP file info and the dialog box doesn't show up. It's like it is off screen somewhere, as all the menus are then grayed out. I can hit Escape a few times to get out of it. But sometimes InDesign totally locks up and I have to force quit.

15. Working in InDesign 14.01 on an imac Retina 5K, 4 GHz intel core i7. MacOS Mojave versjon 10.14.1.

    In Design is so super slow for me.
    I´ve updated everything, and still its superslow.

    I work on a lot of large documents and some of them I can't even open up. It just crashes or takes for ever to get something done!! Frustrating!!

16. Keyboard Shortcut Ctrl+Shft+G (Ungroup) acts strange

    In Windows 10, Indesign 14.0:

    Ungrouping with keyboard shortcut only works when I:

    1. hold Ctrl+LeftShift,

    2. then touch RightShift (while holding Ctrl+LeftShift) (????)

    3. press G (while still holding Ctrl+LeftShift)

17. No Hyphenation in CC 2019 (ver. 14)

    Hi there – it seems that the CC 2019 (v. 14) can't Hyphenate. I use – without luck – the checkbox in the Control Panel. Have I missed a secret Button?

18. Wrong font preview for RTL languages

    There is a problem with the new fonts preview in version 14.0 of InDesign.
    The 'Selected Text' preview is shown backwards (LTR instead of RTL).
    This happens in spite of the fact that the text box is marked as a 'Hebrew' one.
    I'm using a Mac running OS X 10.13.6 High Sierra.

19. PDF comments panel starts scrolling on it's own

    At random the panel starts scrolling whenever the mouse is over the panel.

    Moving the mouse off the panel for a few seconds usually stops it and I can continue working

    On OSx and 2019

20. properties panel is lagging

    I like the new properties panel, but it seems to be a little bit laggy.
    If the properties panel ist active, and I’m clicking on a text frame or image eg. it is lagging a little bit. If the panel is close, there is no issue.
