    We have released an update for InDesign CC2019 (v 14.0.1) which contains fixes for some key issues. If you are not already on 14.0.1 (build 209), then we recommend you to update to latest version.

    If you still face this issue even after updating, please send the following information to santalwa@adobe.com :

    Reproducible Steps –
    • Error snapshot or video recording of the issue.
    • Is the issue related to a specific document(s)/asset(s)? If yes, can you please share the document(s)/asset(s) with us? Please package the entire document(To package the document, Go to File → Package)
    • Does trashing InDesign Preferences and Cache help resolve the issue? Please take a backup of the same before trashing them.

  2. Inline input for non-Latin text does not work

    Clicking the "advanced type" preference to "Use inline input for non-Latin text" does not work. The annoying popup frames make it impossible to type Japanese at a decent pace. Things worked fine in CC 2017. but someone forgot to do something here, it seems.
    I clicked and unclicked, closed down and started again. Same error.

  3. indesign cc 2018 erratic display behaviour

    Issues with linked images and vector shapes just going invisible and unselectable even though they are still in the links panel.

    This bug makes it difficult to work, and leads to adding a huge number of linked images since I think they are not on the page.

  6. Temp InDesign 2018 file

    Temp InDesign 2018 file does not go away after closing ID file and trying to delete it, the Finder generates an error" -80" (?). By the way, what is the reason for such file to be visible at all? Why does the user even care to behold that file at all?

  7. Adobe Templates - Title Blocks won't allow editing in Modern Media Kit Layout

    I would like to use these Adobe templates, but the top title blocks will not allow editing. All of the other text box elements on the page react when you click on them, allowing you the opportunity to edit them. I can't seem to edit "YOUR TITLE HERE" or "MEDIA KIT 2017"

    Am I missing something about how to properly edit the title blocks on those templates? I can't even click on it... no option to capture/click/highlight the "YOUR TITLE HERE" section.

    Guidance is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  8. InDesign 12.1.0.56 Mac crashes when launching files from Box.com

    Cannot click on file on Box.com or without crashing InDesign. DO not have problem on other computers with older versions of InDesign.

    To identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.

    We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding : Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.

    We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020.0.1 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.

    If you still face this issue even after updating to the latest version of InDesign, please submit the crash report to us. (The guidelines to submit crash are available at (https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/submit-crash-reports.html)

  9. muy dificil cambiar de capa los elementos

    Es muy complejo el mover elementos de una capa a otra, ya que el boton de color no responde de inmediato, ni hablar de usar el stylus, con el es imposible hacer, al cabo de varios intentos recien es posible mover, o simplemente hay que darse por vencido

  10. Phantom lines are appearing on export that do show up on print

    Phantom lines around boxes are appearing on export. Some of these are appearing when printed from Nitro Pro. This may be a Nitro Pro issue?

  11. Map styles to tags forces image alignment to the left

    Consider: an image frame is set inline with paragraph text in a text frame. The image is wider than the width of the text frame, and RIGHT ALIGNED, so that it extends out towards the left of the text frame. When you map styles to tags, the image frame is forced to look left-aligned so that the tag is housed in the text frame. This makes the image now extend TO THE RIGHT of the text frame. PLEASE FIX!!!

  15. Creative Cloud Panel Broken

    Creative Cloud panel won't let me change libraries from the drop down menu. ID was working perfectly fine before Mac iOS High Sierra. Having to close down ID every 5 minutes due to the cursor issue combined with the CC panel issue makes ID almost impossible to use.

    Seriously, please get ID fixed.

  18. Glyphs "alternates for selection"

    Glyphs panel: When I choose Show: Alternates for Selection, no alternates display even though there are several alternates for the selection the fonts I am using. I have tried with many fonts over the years and it still doesn't work.

  19. Not enough contrast in Check Spelling dialogue box

    InDesign CC 2017's Check Spelling results interface is fairly unreadable. In the "Not in Dictionary" and "Uncapitalized Sentence" box, more contrast is needed between the text and background shading. This is true in all appearance settings (dark, medium, light).

  20. CC2017

    When I command+W and try to scroll up and down with the arrow keyes it takes forever and its inconstant. Basically its not working at all.
    I just bought the new MacBook Pro 2017 with macOS Sierra 10.12.5.

    I restarted laptop and it continued to make the same.
    In my other Macbook air, it works just as fine.
