Tell (X,Y) values of specific table cells
When I have tables in a document, I often have to lay text boxes over specific cells to achieve my desired result and it would be helpful to have a way to know the specific (X,Y) values of each cell so that I can line the relevant text box up appropriately.

copy and paste. Text disappears from google docs to InDesign
Hello,
When I copy and paste from google docs to Adobe InDesign the text pastes in but then the page goes white and all the text disappears. If I click the text frame the words reappear and the text frame re-sizes and snaps down.I am currently on the latest version of Mac Big Sur and have updated to the latest version of Adobe InDesign of 16.3.2. Here are screenshots of the issue.

Primary Text Frame widget not showing
InDesign v16.3.2 on macOS 10.15.7 the widget to convert a Text Frame on a Master Page to a Primary Text Flow is missing! Please fix!

Problem with linked Mathtype *.EPS equations after last update in Indesign 16.3. Equations are destroyed in exported PDF for printing.
I have finished book with 1.5k of equations and i am unable to export PDF for printing. (see attached files) HEEEELP! All Mathtype equations use system fonts (Times New Roman & Symbol) and they are EPS files linked in InDesign. If i open that equation file in MathType or Illustrator everything is OK. I can send whatever files you want.

bug: start/end line not clickable in Indesign
Indesign 16.3.2, Apple Silicon M1 chip, MacBook Pro macOS Big Sur 11.5
I've discovered a bug. When I try to click on the option to add a start or end to a line, the option disappears directly. So it's not possible to click on one of the options. Right now I can't add a arrow to the end of my line. I hope it will be fixed really soon!

3 page master page spread (book cover). Unable to resize just the spine, the page tool selects ALL pages on the spread.
3 page master page spread (book cover). Unable to resize just the spine, the page tool selects ALL pages on the spread. I have discovered that the page tool works as expected when using any of the 'canned' workspaces, but using my (or any) custom workspace 'breaks' the page tool's functionality of being able to select a single page of a spread. Liquid Layout on or off makes no difference.

Cannot View Baseline Grid in InDesign
Issue: Unable to View Baseline Grid in InDesign
1. Version of Adobe InDesign 16.3.2
2. Followed the steps to correct set up the Baseline grid (attachment 1); also went to View --> Grids & Guides --> View Baseline grid
3. Expected result is being able to see the baseline grid.
4. I closed the Indesign file and restarted it. Actual result: Still unable to see baseline grid despite all the settings present.

keep the option to remove the share button as long as it not working.
It is the 4th major update it it still does not work at all!!!!!you also removed the option to remove the button
also, the window pops up with black screen creating hangs to Indesign

Spacebar/shiftkey issue after some time of using InDesign
If I want to use the spacebar to navigate through my documents, or if I want to zoom in/out with cmd+spacebar, I'm unable to use that function. Also the shiftkey doesn't work, after some time of using InDesign.
This problem is solved when I restart my Mac.
Is there any solution for this? I think this problem exists since the update to the silicon version of InDesign. I'm using a Mac mini with M1-chip.

Indesign 16.3 cannot make package
we are having a problem using INDD ( 16.3.2 ) with ours Mac Pro late 2013 ( Bigsur 11.4 ) while we are creating the package.
So the process is going to infinite time and even we are force down the app we must pushing the power button of the Mac to switch off and after switch on.
On the Windos 10 the package is created without any problem.Update on 29/07/2021
I did the same test on a Mac Pro Book mid 2014 ( Catalina 10.15.3 ) : in this way I can make the package without any problem. …1 vote -

Indesign 16.3.2, Keyboard shortcut for preview (W) changes text appearance (from left justified to right justified) — but prints accurately.
Recent update to 16.3.2 — am working on an InDesign document that has a line of left-justified text.
1. When I use the keyboard shortcut "W" to view the document in Preview Mode (without boxes/positioning lines) the text jumps to the right hand side of the page.
2. When I click out of Preview mode (W again) it shows me the text where I placed it — left justified. I saved the document and reopened it and the bug is still there. When I make a pdf from it, or print the page, the line is correctly on the left.…1 vote -
prompt message
a prompt appears on the bottom of my indesign screen after opening an old file I need to work on (my portfolio):
"Type 1 fonts will no longer be supported after 2023
A blue message box regarding Type 1 not being support starting 2023. Your document contains 0 Type 1 fonts...... more info....."
That box is not leaving my workspace even after I click for more information; It obstructs my workspace.
The chat technician says:
"The message must only be popping up while working on the document. It will not appear once you export it to other file format. I…

export review comments
I previously used Adobe DC to send design proofs for review. I LOVE THE NEW InDesign option. Of course, it has a few bugs, but overall I love the UI right in Indesign.
However, I would like to export comments for my records and documentation. In case there is a discrepancy in a final product, I prefer to keep an archive of comments related to a project. I do not see a simple way to do this.

Problem with locally overrided paragraph with Nested Style
There is still a problem with pasting new plain text to locally overrided paragraph with Nested Style. It's shown in the attachment.
