Can the increment for table row height adjustment be set to ±0.1mm?
Can the increment for table rowI often need to adjust the height of the rows of a table to align them to the bottom edge of the center of the plate, and I need to enter the possible values several times, maybe 3-5 times.
I can also click on the up and down triangular arrows to the left of the row heights, but I find that the increment is 1mm each time, not far out of the controllable range, I suggest that this increment can be self-negotiating and the default is preferably 0.1mm. height adjustment be set to 0.1mm?

Packaging cloud
When you package a file, it would be helpful if InDesign took any cloud documents and then saved them as part of the packaged file. Currently when you send someone your packaged file, the links are broken/missing because they still exist on the original designer's cloud.

Start Paragraph On Next Odd/Even Page should work inside tables
It would automaticcaly move the whole table (if use in header) or it's part to the next Odd/Even page.

Make text wrap around Drop Cap
Please make the text wrap around the Drop Cap as it does when you make the Drop Cap into an object. See examples. This would save about 10 minutes of faffing around for every Drop Cap. Doesn't seem like much but it's a pain when you're working on a book with many chapters.

Print Blank Pages
Please, please, please make Print Blank Pages on by default. I tire of explaining to my boss why the pages ARE NOT out of order and then have to reprint to prove they are correct. I try to check each document when I print, but it doesn't always happen. Having it on by default would be so much better.

Delete unused
In several menu's 'Select unused [...]' can be found.
I think everyone uses this to get rid of unused Swatches, Styles etc.Why not add 'Delete unused [...] to the menu?

Floating Toolbar for Scale x percentage
I use the Scale x percentage very regularly and was hoping to have it as a floating toolbar so I dont have to move my cursor backwars and forwards constantly across the screen for multiple image box content resizing.

Document resizing without layout adjust
For me, the "feature" Adjust layout is always seemingly active when I change the document size, even though I have turned it off (or rather, never turned it on); my content elements move around on the screen when I change the document size. Which has always annoyed me.
However, today I found an explanation, at least in part. It's only the elements that are placed outside the document area, on the pasteboard, that jump around. And they do so in relation to the pasteboard. Anything placed on the document area, wholly or in part, stays where it should be.

Add Find or Search in a document Shared for Review from InDesign
It is critical that reviewers of our white papers are able to use Find or Search in InDesign documents that are Shared for Review to locate terms and phrases used in the InDesign document.
I can't believe that Command F or Ctrl F doesn't work in documents that are Shared for Review from InDesign. This does work for documents Shared by Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Pro.
Why is this not an option when commenting on documents shared by InDesign?
I can use Edit > Find > Find in Google Chrome to search, but it only searches the COMMENTS, not text…

Scaling Text in InDesign
I would like to suggest an improvement to how InDesign handles text scaling. Currently, when I scale an object containing text, the visual size of the text changes, but InDesign still shows the original size in the text panel, displayed in parentheses. This forces users to go through several complicated steps to make the scaled text size permanent without showing the parentheses.
It would be incredibly useful if Adobe could implement a simple feature where the scaled text size is automatically updated to a permanent size, without needing to create outlines or perform manual recalculations. This would streamline workflows and…

Specify Column Widths (and More) in Table Style
It would be very helpful to be able to specify column widths in the table style, i.e., in situations where there are multiple tables with the same headers.
I have a document with c.60 tables with the same headers and column widths. I have to individually set the width of all eight, in my case, columns in each table. It would be so much easier if I could set up a table style with each column width specified, i.e., column 1: 14mm, column 2: 33mm, column 3… you get the idea.

Search features for Paragrapch and Character Style Sheets
I work with very large publications, and sometimes will get them from a previous designer. When making design changes, it's essential to be able to find the old styles throughout the book to make adjustments instead of deleting an entire style and have it reflow everything.

Multi-Lingual data handling
This is a suggestion for a new feature for people using InDesign for multilingual purposes.
In India, we may need to use 3 languages at the same time, for example, in addition to English, we may need to use the national language Hindi and the regional language Malayalam, Tamil or some other language. In other countries, sometimes even more.

Option to disable the drop shadow in artboard on screen mode "Normal" of the "View" menu
Please, enable an option to disable the drop shadow on the artboard in 'Normal' screen mode in the 'View' menu (on the right side and in the footer of the artboard/sheet). The shadow makes it very difficult to achieve accurate positioning and alignment of objects. I found several people on Google complaining about the same thing, and there is no solution! The "Preview", "Bleed" and "Spacer" options do not have the shadow, but they also do not display what is on the workspace outside of the artboard/sheet. Plug-in API to temporarily disable new feature guided tours
InDesign 2025 has several new panels (History, Math Expressions, Export to Adobe Express, Insert MathML) which have associated guided “tours” which bring up windows containing animation and/or an explanation of the new feature and how to use it. The menu items for these new panels that have available guided tours are indicated by a blue dot next to the menu item before the guided tour is viewed by the user. Allow data merge placeholders to be used directly in QR Code URL & Text
Data merge placeholders like <<Sample URL>> do not work when used in QR Codes.
That would be cleaner and easier to use than the current data merge which requires the syntax described on https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/data-merge.html
The Edit QR Code dialog should be improved to support these placeholder values.

Insert Kashida option in Character Style
In Indesing UI there is an option to Insert Kashida width options: "None", "Short", "Medium", "Long" and "Stylistic" but these options are not there in Character style creation window.
Please include this option in Character Style creation window so that it can be easier to apply type of kashida as required by the user.

Useful feature request: Edit with... Photoshop/Illustrator with an Indesign Spread/Page overlay
I would like to see an option to Edit with Photoshop or Illustrator with an Overlay, optionally at an opacity, of rest of the Indesign page/spread elements. This would aid in area retouching/color adjustments where you need to know exactly where the items are on the page in relation to the image/vector.

Add a feature to InDesign that will allow you to measure and determine the height of a letter in millimeters or centimeters. I work in a studio that deals with environmental design and signage, and we constantly need to know the height of the characters in millimeters during work.
