Clear Overrides in Proprieties Panel
Proprieties panel is great, for text boxes however we need a little more in the text styles section, like a clear overrides button from the paragraph styles window

Bug when embedding pdf objects in Indesign Layout.
A PDf with text is embedded in Indesign. When exporting the Indesign document, certain fonts that were correctly displayed in the PDF are torn. In the appendix an example with incorrect display.

Change Jpeg export default to 300 dpi (Or whatever your preference)
When InDesign restarts it defaults the export setting for jpgs to 72 dpi (ppi). I use a script that exports for me and needs to export at 300 dpi. With the default it will revert to 72 dpi every time I restart InDesign and I have to manually reset it to 300 dpi. There needs to be a preference or setting that makes it so I can keep my preferred setting of 300 dpi after a restart without having to manually reset it in the dialog box every time.

Find font should allow the use of character styles
When I import a Word file and preserve local formatting some text comes through as an unrecognized font because the local style applied to the text does not match the style available in the family.
For example there is some text that is Calibi Italic. My body copy uses Frutiger LT Std and the italic version is Frutiger LT Std 56 Italic. InDesign has styles the text as Frutiger LT Std Italic, so it is pink and uses the wrong font.
Find/Change does not allow me to search for a style that does not exist. I cannot search for Frutiger…

No transition effects to assist loading pages with identical backgrounds.
By default Publish online introduces a fade on page load even when there are no transitions applied in InDesign. This interferes when you use multiple pages to spoof the appearance of navigating within a one-page environment.
When I export to PDF the background isn't redrawn so the appearance of the linked page appears smoothly. Publish Online is clunky when loading the next page as it momentarily goes black and then fades-in the page items.
A bit of background .... I've created a page with a number of rollover buttons, then a duplicate of that page which is navigated to (x10)…

You should urgently work on the performance of your program!
I always read only "new feature" "new feature" "new feature" that no pig needs !!!Oh one in your program you can not even CTRL + A (all Makieren) without having to wait 15 minutes)
My system: i9, 64GB RAM, M2 Raid 0 SSD ... Adobe programmers are really that bad ...

visibility of the Colorsetting in menu bar
I often work in different color settings for newspaper printing or offset printing. It seems convenient to me if I can see the current color setting as a notification in the menu bar. Also usefull for other applications as well like Illustrator and Photoshop.

REPLACING A PLACED ITEM SHOULD NOT INCREASE OR DECREASE THE SIZE OF THE NEW ITEM.
When you have a box with a placed item and you go to replace the item, the program should not INCREASE or DECREASE the percentage of the place item to fill the box. (Just cost me a client)

It would be very helpful if one could apply keyboard shortcuts to 'Arrange Documents' options (Consolidate All, Tile All in Grid, Tile All Vertically, etc.) It would also be awesome if we could save our own frequently used layouts.

Annoying dialogs, option to “don’t show again”...
Is there some universal way to turn off unnecessary dialogs?
For example when I click to publish a document for online, I get an annoying dialog that says "Are you sure you want to update..." (see attached).
Why is this dialog necessary? I can just re-publish if there was some mistake. It just slows things down. Some dialogs like this do have a "don't show me this again" option, but not here... why?
In general, I find the plethora of "Do you really want to..." dialogs disruptive and unnecessary. Except for something critical, or something you can't undo, why do…

smart templates and content
We would like to have an option ware lets say you have basic shipping marks template and you use it in different files, that you then can update the template design and that it then changes also in the files in with it ware used. because we use a lot of the same content over different files but we need to update each and every one every time we make a change.

Search and replace fonts and colors on a part of your document or selected text
Replacing fonts or colors on specific pages of or selected text would come in handy and save me lots of time.

A way to chose where you would like to save your links, INDD file, etc when "packaging" a file.
When working on projects with multiple large books, we would appreciate a way to "package" a file, yet save all of the links for each book in a Master Links Library folder, fonts in a Master Fonts Library folder, and PDFs in a designated folder.
Additionally, it would be awesome if there was a way to preflight a file and ensure that all links are linking to a specific master links folder.
