An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedIt rather looks like if there are several styles at once applied to the same line of text (that's why the +). If you simply select one letter of the "Big" text, will it remain "Big" style?
I use conditional text a lot and don't have this problem. Well, I still use the 2019 version. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedFirst of all, if this occured the first time in the part two weeks and it's the same ID version as before - you didn't tell otherwise - then it's not ID, but most likely your PC. Perhaps one thing in general: preflight is on.

An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedI suppose way too little people use ChromeOS. The number needs to be higher for Adobe to make a portation.
Solution: install Windows, if possible, on the ChromeBook. Perhaps as second OS. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedIn the video I was already far outside the frame when it started to move the page/pasteboard, but it often occurred to me also when the mouse pointer was just right outside the frame. I think it's when the page is zoomed in, when the page margins are closer to the window edge.

As confirmed by a customer over the thread that the issue is fixed in InDesign 2020(v15.1.2.226).
We recommend you upgrade to either InDesign 2020(v15.1.2.226) or to the latest InDesign 2021(v16.0.0.77) for the fix.
If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application and click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

Yes, I know it's an old version, but I use it for a specific reason: the newer versions have even more bugs and I think this one is still in there.
Problem: when opening INDDs saved from a previous version it would convert them and if you open two of them at once, ID would always crash.Maik supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedHave the same problem. ID 15.1.2.
I'm glad to still have good old 13.1 installed. This was the last working one with the proper UI.
See file. The setting was already applied before.Maik supported this idea · -

The InDesign team appreciates your valuable feedback and concerns. These go a long way in helping us make InDesign better for you and update it continuously to cater to evolving user needs. The app bar design was changed as part of these improvement efforts, and will also help us in introducing some modern and exciting functionalities which we have been working on.
While doing this, we have taken care not to remove any existing functionalities which were available in the previous App Bar design. These have only been relocated – either grouped along with similar functionalities (based on results from our user research) or shifted to improve usability (to provide a consistent experience) while working across Creative Cloud apps, especially Photoshop (Ps) & Illustrator (Ai), which are frequently used by InDesign users. We do understand that it takes time & effort in adopting these but we sincerely hope that the…

An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedTake it a step further and handle a text box as a table with one cell. Or vice versa, handle a table as a text box with strokes and multiple cells. Other request would be instantly fulfilled. Like foot notes...
Indesign, as all Adobe tools, is not optimized for RAM usage or for Macs This is why the memory it uses from RAM and harddrive can be set up in the Preferences. If your system says it ran out of memory it's most likely just that. You can either increase your RAM - oh no, it's an Apple device, not possible to upgrade my RAM! - or ***** down the per centage.
