    Easier way: do not group them, just select the 4 objects in the one page, then copy and paste to master page, then use the little blue square (click & drag) to move them all at once to the red layer.

    Same version here, don't have this problem. Perhaps you try checking the prefs for GPU settings and turn off GPU support.

  6. InDesign hangs constantly during normal editing with no CPU spike, on very fast win. 11 laptop with plenty of memory and drive space.

    Preflight activated permanently? This is a per document setting. It causes those micro freezes.

    Almost three years later, in version 20.4.1, it's still the same. It also applies to the red table borders, they're also overlaid.

    The update should be available in the Creative Cloud app. If you do not see it yet, please click “Check for Updates” to refresh the available updates.

    Not sure about the Mac, but at least on Windows, Shift is used to select/deselect groups of objects and Ctrl for single objects. Probably the same on Mac?

    The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2025(v20.3.0.060). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.

    If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application click on the context menu on the top right, and click on Check for App Updates.

    I also have that , sort of. It crashes regularly when closing it at the end of the work day.
    Yesterday it crashed several time on a broken cross-ref, when I simply selected it and wanted to jump to its position.
