UI – Some Buttons are missing InDesign CC 2020 (OS X)
I’ve updated InDesign to the newest version 15.0 (InDesign CC 2020) on OS X.
And some buttons in the top window border are missing like the percent and the GPU rocket.
Is it possible to put these back?! Or do I have to change it anywhere in the menu? Can’t find it.
We’re going to review this issue.

I thought it was just me. Weirdly relieved I'm not alone yet frustrated that these are update flaws in critical thinking or complete lack of awareness of real-world usage.
Do you have an UX manager with practical experience on board?
was just forced to upgrade (colleagues updated...) hate the new layout. Please put the Screen Mode and Zoom back on top! I switch back and forth continually between normal and preview / 75% and 125%.
Back to 19 I go!

Took hours to find out you guys removed it and it just wasn't a setting I unticked! Please put the Screen Mode Shortcuts back into the top of the open window in InDesign 2020 like it was in earlier versions.
Please put back the Tile Bar.
Thank goodness I can still access the 2019 version!
I agree, put the screen mode button back. This is frustrating trying to produce design with my workflow interrupted.
What the actual F$&K Adobe?! You can't expect us to just TAKE DELETING MAJOR UI COMPONENTS LIKE THIS! Do you think this is a GAME or a JOKE?? This is our LIVELIHOODS you're playing around with. Return these UI elements NOW.
I agree with everyone on this. Why would you change it Adobe. It is so inefficient now!

Where are the missing buttons that used to be at the bottom of the Layers menu???
Also, I agree that the top menu is a pain without the buttons that used to be there.
Please put the preview controls back to the App bar. This is now crazy inconvenient for those of us who rely on the constant use of this feature.
Absolutely agree the Arrange button should not have been taken away! Put it back Adobe. Why are you making it more difficult to work!

Please bring the Screen Mode button back. It is really cumbersome to have to go back and forth from the View menu. Designers use this feature every day.
In this case “as designed” is the same as “stupid design”. You are focusing on the wrong things Adobe. Bring them back!
Having the same problem. Any resolution by now?
At least bring back screen mode in the top bar, that is used all the time for most designers!
I see that you've made Tables more robust - but have also removed the cell stroke options and other
very helpful shortcuts from the top bar.
Having to access everything from the Table palette menu is much more time-consuming than in previous versions of this application.
I can't agree with the other comments enough about how removing the shortcuts from the top bar makes using InDesign 2020 very cumbersome and unhelpful.
Yeah, where did these buttons go?? I want them back, please. Is there a setting somewhere?

I agree. Moving screen mode from top bar to tool bar is impairment on the UI.

Ditto... I'm looking for it as well. I use it all the time... and it's not there. Please add them back in.
