Font baseline grid
The baseline grid start value for Open Sans is different if the font is used from Adobe than if it's used from Google.
This results in changes in layout which is very annoying. Also, when telling indesign to fit the box to text, the box is unnecessary larger at the top.
Before the 17.0 InDesign update that wasn't the case.Someone else complained about this in November - https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/text-boxes-need-to-be-enlarged-after-update/m-p/... - the issue there is marked as solved, but it wasn't solved actually.

Indesign can't search tagged folders
Indesign (17.1 Build) will wrongly show empty folders when I select a Finder tagged folder.
What can I do? I need this function. It's a big timesaver.

display guides distorting
When I add objects to a page the guides are distorting, if I set guides to the back in preferences the problem stops.
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling indesign and updating my graphics driver with no luck

Accessibility issues tagging order and H1 tags not showing at all for screen readers
h2 tags are the only tags that are showing for screen readers any other of the h tags aren't working. I've tried everything to get it working. Made sure tags are correct within indesign, made sure export tags are also set up correctly, tried doing some after work in acrobat with the structuring. People within the community have said it's been like this for the last few releases. Could this be looked into

Roboto fonts not working in indesign
I have tried everything to add Roboto fonts to creative cloud to be used in InDesign but nothing works. First, I click on the "f" in the upper right hand corner, and it just spins and spins saying loading. The next thing I tried was going to Adobe Fonts website and 'Activiating all Robot Fonts." Even though it shows as activated, Whenever I try to export my design it says following fonts (Roboto family) aren't currently available.

Linked Image Canvas Resampling Pixelated Issue
When a linked image canvas size greatly exceeds the image frame size, the linked image is pixelated in both the InDesign preview and the PNG export. JPG exports do not exhibit this issue.
Please note in the attached images two different linked PSD files. The file on left is cropped to the extent of the rasterized letter 'a'. In the file on the right, the rasterized 'a' has the same pixel dimensions as the first, but the Photoshop document canvas is much larger. This results in a poorly resampled PNG export.

Printing Number 10 Envelope - Left side of envelope margins are not respected
When envelope media is selected, I lose some of the leftmost characters. If I only change the media to letter(8.5x11 inch) media, the characters appear as expected.
Windows 10. Indesign 17.0 x64 from the ABOUT Indesign screen.

AppleGothic font is not displaying all characters correctly. The accented characters sometimes do not display in Indesign although they work
When using AppleGothic, some accented characters that work ok in MS WOrd do not display in Indesign
eg Yọ awọn ti ń ṣegbe

black background on pictures with GPU accelaration ON
With GPU Performance ON i have a black background on certain zoom in or out with some linked pictures or PDFs. With Both 2021 and 2022 versions. Pictures attached.

InDesign crashes when formatting footnotes
Formatting footnotes using InDesign 2022 v 17.1 causes severe lag and eventually the program seizes up and must be ended through task manager. Full details here:
The resolution to the issue was to roll back InDesign to 16.4.1, no such problems with that.

Script label changes not saved
With this post I would like to report a bug again.
When opening an existing document, selecting an object, adding a script label and saving it again, the changes are not saved! When also changing something else, all changes are saved.
When only adding a script label and saving a document, the script label will not be added.
This bug is more then 10 years old.
Please fix this. Thank you.

Acrolinx panel too narrow and can't be resized
Since I upgraded to InDesign 17, the Acrolinx sidebar is displayed at half the width it is supposed to be and can not be resized (see screenshot). It is completely useless this way.
With InDesign 16, everything is fine.

PDF comments on footnotes import wrong
Whenever I receive PDF comments on footnote references, they import with the wrong position into InDesign.
In the attached screenshot you can see a delete/strikethrough comment on the footnote reference, yet after importing into InDesign it has moved to the glyph in front of the footnote reference. This needs to be fixed as it leads to errors, and forces me to check all the comment positions manually using Acrobat as InDesign cannot be trusted.
There are similar problems for bulleted/numbered lists (if the comment is placed on the bullet/number or at the end of a line).

text colour tint dropdown menu bug
Changing the text colour tint from 70% black to 100% black in Paragraph Styles crashes my M1 Mac mini 100% of the time.
Trying to manually change the text colour is not possible because when I click on the drop down menu for colour and tint in the control bar, the menu either doesn't appear at all, or appears for a few milliseconds and then disappears. I officially cannot work on my document now. What to do?!

Text color tint bugs (more than one bug!)
Changing the text colour tint from 70% black to 100% black in Paragraph Styles crashes my M1 Mac mini 100% of the time.
Trying to manually change the text colour is not possible because when I click on the drop down menu for colour and tint in the control bar, the menu either doesn't appear at all, or appears for a few milliseconds and then disappears. I officially cannot work on my document now. What to do?!

Copying a URL Hyperlink auto formats to a opening another indesign file
I've been having URL hyperlinks that are copied Document A into Document B are auto format as a shared location that is Document A. But all I want is Document B to have the same hyperlinks, and nothing I've tried will prevent "shared destination" as being the default. All I wanted is the an image with a hyperlink to copy into Document B as a URL. Instead I have random InDesign documents opening without warning and then indesign crashes. I've ended up needing to delete all hyperlinks (attached to both text and images) and entirely reformat each one. Without accidently…

place file missing
I'm making a booklet identifying all 200 products for a client. I had been attempting to import 3-7 pdfs using the place function at a time. Show Import Options is on. Often one or two files will appear in the links list as if they were coming in with the others, but do not come up in the placing. They are in the links panel with no page number and no pasteboard indication. If I go back and place an item that has done this individually it will work. pdf export missing image
1- InDesign(17.0.1)
2- When importing this PDF file "Socredo.pdf" in an InDesign(17.0.1) magazine layout, then exporting it again in PDF, the upper background tatoo drawing disappears. This stays true even when trying different PDF export preferences.
3- The expected result would be to have the 2 pdfs identical visually
4- The file "105 Ecopol 2021-2022 Secteurs.pdf" is the actual result, with the missing upper tatoo background.

현재는 하나 하나 선택을 해서 윤곽선을 만들어 주고 있습니다.
바로 이 부분에서,
윗첨자로 바꾸어준 부분들이 많이 있을 때,
이러한 윗첨자들을 한꺼번에 선택을 해서,
한꺼번에, 윤곽선 만들기가 진행이 되어서,
한꺼번에 윤곽선으로 만들어지는 기능이 있으면 좋겠습니다.
이 부분이 가능해지도록 추가 기능이 설치되면 좋겠습니다.
또 마스터 페이지 기능에서
현재는 마스터 페이지 기능을 해체해서,
한 페이지씩 윤곽선 만들기를 해 주고 있는데,
이 부분에서도
한꺼번에 윤곽선 만들기가 기능해지면 좋겠습니다.
