    Indesign 19.1

    Impossible de modifer la langue en français dans la correction orthographe / dictionnaire.
    La langue et le dictionnaire sont bien en français dans les paramètres.
    Mais la correction orthographique se fait en anglais ou en italien : Le changement de dictionnaire ne fonctionne pas dans la fenêtre orthographe.

  2. Text Frame Lag when Window > Control (Panel) is enabled.

    When Control Panel is enabled (Window > Control), double clicking into a text frame has a lag for about a second. Turning off the Control Panel helps but this is not a solution.

    I think this lag is related to loading fonts in background for the select field – doesn’t matter how much or how less fonts are installed/loaded on Mac.

    As this is a long existing performance issue yet (available since 2018), could you please consider to optimize the lag for text frames within a future update, finally?

  3. InDesign 19.1 is crashing frequently. It freezes completely so that I have to shut down my computer and restart it.

    We have released InDesign 2025(v20.2.0.036) with many stability fixes. We recommend you upgrade to the latest version (if you’re not already on it) as it is more robust.

    If you still face this issue even after updating, please submit the crash report to us. (Guidelines to submit crash are available at (https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/submit-crash-reports.html )

    Also, please send the following information to santalwa@adobe.com :

    • Reproducible Steps – What were you doing when InDesign crashed?
    • Video recording of the crash

  4. Disable the download video link in Publish Online

    When viewing video on Publish Online, there's an option to download the video. It would be nice to be able to turn that off when uploading in the same way that the sharing can be turned off.

  5. creative cloud libraries bug

    Hi, in indesign creative cloud libraries is borked. In each library only the top level will show and only four items from that level, all folders within a library show as empty. True for all libraries. They all load fine in illustrator/photoshop etc.

    Latest version as of 27/03/2024. Windows 11.

    reinstalled, reset prefs etc. Not helping issue only present in indesign, seriously impeding work flow. please fix

  6. Export - Jpg - Page Size - Suffix

    Love the new update where you can change the export options to include a specific Suffix, however could you remove the spaces between the sizes in the Page Size Suffix export? For example, 700 x 200 would be 700x200. This will help speed up the process in file naming as we can not have spaces in files names in any graphics for our websites.

  8. Incorrect diacritic position for some letters when using bullets

    When using the latest version of Noto Sans Arabic (2.012), if bullets/numbering is enabled in InDesign for a line containing a word with a medial position jeem ج, the dot of the jeem gets out of place. If bullets/numbering are not used, then all is well. I submitted this as a bug on GitHub for the Noto Sans team, but they say it is an issue with InDesign and the layout engine.   9. [ID-4245422]Underlines are drawn in the space left by "danraku jisage".

    When I use "danraku jisage " in the "mojigumi akiryou settei" , an underline is underlined in the empty space at the beginning of a line.
    Since there are no characters in the empty space, it is correct that underlines are not underlined in the same way as when indentation is used to lower the line.

    「文字組みアキ量設定」で「段落字下げ」を行ったとき、行頭の空いている部分にも下線が引かれてしまう。
    空いている部分には文字はないので、インデントで下げたときと同じように、下線は引かれないのが正しい。

  11. Dialogue windows open at full screen, and will not scale down or move

    When I open, place, export or save a document, the dialogue window automatically goes to full screen and is not scalable or movable, even though I can select the border or the corner with the cursor (and see the cursor change to confirm I have the window border), it will not resize or move.

  12. Links panel content overflow

    Since upgrading to InDesign 2024, we've encountered a persistent issue where the Links Panel becomes overwhelmed with linked assets. This overflow makes the panel difficult, if not impossible, to use effectively.

    Problem Description:
    The issue manifests when working with documents that contain a large number of unique linked assets. Upon selecting an asset (e.g., an image) within a page, the Links Panel attempts to highlight the corresponding link. However, instead of functioning as expected, the panel becomes cluttered and overflows with the document's other links, severely hindering our ability to work efficiently.

  16. Google font unusable after 2024 update.

    1. InDesign 2024, Google font Big Shoulders Display (variable width) stopped working properly between 2023 and 2024 updates.
    2. I tried changing character attributes, pacakging the file and deleting the Document fonts folder (suggested in Adobe Community)
    3. Expected the font to work properly

  17. Copy & paste within a numbered list can cause wrong numbering

    If you create a numbered list which runs over 2 or more columns and copy some text within the list from one paragraph to another the numbering changes. In my example you have 2 times 1 in the list.

    To make it even more crazy this only happens when you use the Adobe Single-line composer. If you work with the Adobe ParagraphComposer there's no problem at all.

    If you change the text frame from 2 columns to 1 column and back the error disappears as well.

  18. InDesign 2024 - Home and New Docs Problem

    Hi!
    I have installed on windows the Adobe InDesign 2024 version. For several days, i've been having trouble opening the program because it doesn't show me the 'home' and doesn't allow me to create new documents, even though i can open documents that are already saved on my PC.

    Tables with overset text make Indesign crash. When copying such a table, and then paste it on another page or in another doc, Indesign will crash.

  20. Shared destination URLs link back to old INDD files and stop working in PDF

    INDD 2024 v19.3 Mac
    I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional by design but it has caused us no end of problems
    I create 1 working template - often this template is a recycled and updated file from the previous year. When approved by the client I then "Save as" with different names for different regions.
    Unfortunately when I do this, the "Shared hyperlink destinations" link back to the original InDesign document. When working with multiple designers across multiple machines, the links cannot be edited by anyone who does not have the original file so every hyperlink…
