1. No preset options showing in InDesign when trying to output high res pdf

   Yes, I'm trying to output a high res pdf for print and I'm attempting to apply the usual Colour conversion / Destination and only offered either CMYK or RGB as an option.
   No other presets. E.G Working CMYK- Coated FOGRA39 etc.
   Any suggestions anyone.. on How I can fix? I have already Uninstalled InDesign 16.1 and then reinstalled. I tried outputting to pdf in Photoshop it seems fine - all options showing.
   I looked in Library in Presets and there only seems to be a in Alias see attached

2. Color picker HSB interface not working correctly

   Indesign 2021 v16.1

   While using the new HSB interface in the Color Picker, when any of the the "HSB" radials are selected, the chosen color values change to something completely different. Please see the uploaded pictures for an example.

   When the cursor is dropped into the any of the CMYK value entires, the color changes back to what was intended.

   If the selected object still has a color thats chosen in HSB is sampled and applied to another object. the new object's color will show up in the color picker as the intended color but with a in-gamut color option of the wrong color below it.

3. 行スタイルのバグ？

   InDesign 2020（バージョン問わず発生）
   MacOS X Mojave 10.14.6
   MacPro6,1

   カレンダーの作成時に行スタイルを使って、日曜日を赤色にする文字スタイルを設定しています。1[強制改行] 2[強制改行]…のようにテキストを作成し、行スタイルで…

   ［なし］　対象6行
   赤文字　対象1行
   ［繰り返し］対象2行

   と日曜日を自動的に赤色の文字スタイルを適応させます。

   その後、手動で祝日に文字スタイルを適応する際に「繰り返しをまたいで文字スタイルを2つ適応すると、2つ目が適切に適応できません」。

   例えば2月のカレンダーを作成する際に、11日と24日が祝日なので赤色にする文字スタイルを設定します。11日の文字スタイルは問題ありませんが、24日に文字スタイルを適応させると23日にも赤色の文字スタイルが適応されます。
   そして23日は文字スタイル「なし」を適応させても赤文字のスタイルが解除されません。

   テキストをコピー・アンド・ペーストすると元に戻りますが、保存して再度開くと同じ現象が発生する事があります。
   設定ミスなのか、バグかハッキリしなかったので投稿しました。ニッチな事案ですが皆様のご意見をぜひお願いします。

6. "Share for Review" lost for documents accessed via UNC paths

   Indesign 16.2.1 won't maintain the link between the indesign document (on a server) and the "Shared for Review" online file if the Indesign document was opened via a UNC path when you make the "share for review" link.

7. Can't change the names of Object States

   In InDesign 16.1, the entry box for changing the names of Object States flashes open and closed in a fraction of a second—too fast for entering a new name. This was not a problem in previous versions of InDesign.

8. InDesign does not handle a nukta with Tamil script

   The Tamil Unicode block does not contain a nukta, for languages written in Tamil script that need a nukta there are two characters in the Grantha block that can (possibly) be used.

9. Images not importing within frame

   Indesign has started randomly importing images incorrectly - sometimes with the frame much larger than the image, sometimes with the image out of the frame bounds, forcing me to resize each frame to fit the image. Very frustrating.

10. Footnotes Still Disappearing: Please Update Your Customers

    Adobe: The bug described in "[Performance] Footnote disappears" back in October 2019 is still plaguing users.

11. Spacebar/shiftkey issue after some time of using InDesign

    If I want to use the spacebar to navigate through my documents, or if I want to zoom in/out with cmd+spacebar, I'm unable to use that function. Also the shiftkey doesn't work, after some time of using InDesign.

    This problem is solved when I restart my Mac.

    Is there any solution for this? I think this problem exists since the update to the silicon version of InDesign. I'm using a Mac mini with M1-chip.

12. Hyphenation at page break while option »Hyphenate Across Column« is not selected

    InDesign 16.0.2
    InDesign 13.1.1

    The option not to "Hyphenate Across Column" in hyphenation settings does not seem to work reliably. Not in InDesign CC 2018 and not in InDesign CC 2021.
    Sometimes it is ignored and sometimes it is taken into account. See the appended screenshots.
    With each recomposing of the text/stories, the behaviour can change: sometimes this way and sometimes that way.
    Please make the behaviour computable.

14. InDesign is not correctly role mapping all paragraph styles to tags, when creating an accessible tagged interactive PDF

    I am using InDesign 15.1.1 to create several accessible, tagged PDFs.
     
    I have tagged every paragraph style correctly under the export tags for PDF (Edit all export tags > show: PDF), and I have left any list items and table of contents items with the default ‘Automatic’ tag.
     
    I am exporting as an interactive PDF with ‘Create tagged PDF’ checked. 
     
    Then when viewing the PDF in Acrobat Pro DC, in the Tags pane I have selected ‘Apply role mapping to tags’. This should ensure that in the tags pane in Acrobat, all my original paragraph style names are displaying as the tags that I have created. But this is not happening. I am finding that some of the tags are role mapping correctly, while several other tags are appearing incorrectly role-mapped with their original paragraph style names in place instead of the tags that I had assigned to them in InDesign.

    There seems to be no logic to this. This role mapping problem is occurring on every document I export as a tagged interactive PDF, no matter the size (i.e. from a small 12pp booklet to a large 125pp brochure). The only common characteristic is that the initial pages of the PDF have the tags correctly role mapped, but then as the document progresses some of the tags start to break down with their tags not appearing and instead their original paragraph style names are displayed. I have tried exporting the PDF from my another Mac and I get the same result.

    Today I have discovered something interesting: if I export just a few pages at a time then the role mapping is working correctly. The problem seems to occur when I export the full document – InDesign does not seem to be able to export all the information correctly en masse.

    Note: I have updated to InDesign 15.1.2 today and the problem is still occurring.

16. Publish online doesn't work properly in chrome browser on new mobile devices (android)

    Hi there,

    We have published an interactive document with Indesign "publish online" feature. It works flawlessly in every browser, except in Chrome on some new mobiles phones with Android (not possible to go back or forward through pages or zoom). On the contrary, Interactivity and videos work properly.

    We have the last indesign version (2021. Creative suite)

    What's the problem?

17. New Bug Indesign 16.2.1 | Contours conversion error (inside/outside aligned)

    This bug seems to only affect older InDesign documents and graphic elements from them that were created before the update to 16.2.1. The bug can NOT be reproduced in completely new 16.2.1 documents with newly created elements!

    What happens:
    For example, if you create a circle with the dimensions 200X200mm and a 10mm thick outline, this results in a circle with the dimensions
    210X210mm

    But if you now change the contour orientation from center to inside, the dimensions change unproportionally in height:

    Instead of 200 x 200 mm the circle becomes quasi
    an "egg" 200 x 199.999 mm

    If you now set the contour to 8mm, the element becomes proportional again.
    However: if the contour orientation is now changed again from
    "Aligned inside" to "Aligned outside", a conversion error happens again.

    Instead of the dimensions 216 x 216 mm
    the dimensions are now 216 x 215.999 mm.

    In these cases, the dimensions cannot be corrected by direct input in the control palette or by clicking on the arrow keys!!!!!

    If you enter 216 mm via direct input, 215.999 mm stubbornly appears.
    If you click on the arrow keys, nothing happens in the height value! But if you change the width value now, if you have coupled the proportions (by means of the lock)
    from 216 mm
    to 216.001 mm
    and with each desperate click further 216.002 mm;
    and further. ...,003/...,004 !!!!

    Very very annoying!!!!!!!! We are the BORG! Resistance is futile!

    ATTENTION.
    This rounding error also occurs with proportional scaling with the selection tool and can be transported via copy and paste even into completely new created InDesign(16.2.1) documents. Great. Or!?

    As I said: In newly created documents with newly created graphics in Indesign 16.2.1 the bug cannot be reproduced. At least not so far ...

    Unfortunately, this means for already existing documents from previous Indesign versions, - also because the bug can be scaled - , watch out like ****!

18. It takes forever to update the link for review.

    When I go the Share for Review menu and try to update the link, it starts to "think" and nothing else happens. It lasts for more than 10 minutes and I just give up. Indesign version 16.1

19. export review comments

    I previously used Adobe DC to send design proofs for review. I LOVE THE NEW InDesign option. Of course, it has a few bugs, but overall I love the UI right in Indesign.

    However, I would like to export comments for my records and documentation. In case there is a discrepancy in a final product, I prefer to keep an archive of comments related to a project. I do not see a simple way to do this.

20. Problem with locally overrided paragraph with Nested Style

    There is still a problem with pasting new plain text to locally overrided paragraph with Nested Style. It's shown in the attachment.
    Indesign 16.3, but this bug lingers on Indesign 16.0.1.
