1. Crop Marks not displaying correctly with indesign 2025

   My bleed is set to 10mm on all sides, and I've clicked to offset the crop marks by 10mm also. In the exported PDF though, the bleed amount is included but the crop marks show to cut at the bleed line rather than the cut line if that makes sense! See screenshot. Please help - need to submit signage artwork today and would only take 2 secs to do if this would work as it always has done in the past!!!

2. Arrowheads can not scale

   When you have a .5 line you are unable to scale the arrowhead.

   I do a lot of call outs for instructional work and I would love to be able to make the arrowheads smaller.

3. Blocked deletion of pages - BIn Desing 20.0 x64 PL version

   Blocked ability to delete or add, edit pages of pages by clicking on icons. On the icons there is an inscription that blocks their operation, very irritating.

4. Sur la version Mac 2025 (20,0) de indesign Je suis obligé pour voir les boites de sélection de faire une manœuvre pour les voir.

   les boites sont affichées en arrière de la fenêtre principale. elles n'apparaissent devant que lorsque j'ai fait une manœuvre (voir toutes les fenêtres de l'écran). C'est gênant.

5. InDesign 2025 changes frame size while applying object style

   If you apply an object style with only height set in size/position tab, and inset spacing, the width of the frame changes adding the inset spacing to the width. For example: 100mm width frame (no style applied) and an object style with height set to 25mm and 5mm of inset spacing in both sides (left/right). The frame with applied style will result in 110mm width.

   Adobe Indesign (19.0 : 20.0) 2024-2025 / Mac os Sequoia 15.0.1
   When using a Text Variable (Running Header ‹Paragraph Style›) and applying it to fully diacritized Arabic text, the first letter of the heading does not appear in the result. This issue arises when exporting to PDF.
   open indesign and Type the fully diacritized Arabic text, Assign paragraph sytle, go to Text variable - Define - New - Running Header «Paragraph Style» - Assign.
   The text is expected to display correctly without errors; however, contrary to this, the first letter of the fully diacritized text does not appear. This issue arises when exporting to PDF.
   The test files and illustrative screenshots of the issue are attached.

7. object export options crash

   InDesign CC 2024, version 19.5: Trying to open Object Export Options causes program to crash. Tried resetting preferences (edit->preferences->general->reset preferences on quit) and no change.

8. Ouvrir un fichier en glissant l'icône dans la fenêtre ne fonctionne plus

   Depuis la version 20.0 x64 sur PC, je ne peux plus ouvrir un fichier InDesign en glissant l'icône sur la fenêtre de l'application. Cela m'est très utile vu qu'à cause d'un CMS installé, mon PC ne reconnaît plus l'icône du programme et que le double-clique ne fonctionne pas non plus.

9. InDesign 2025 (v20.0) is allowing me to open the same file more than once

   InDesign 2025 (v20.0) is allowing me to open 2024 v19.5 files more than once. It doesn't seem to be an issue once the file is converted from 19.5 to 20.0 but it's concerning as I edit files made previously.

    All versions of Adobe InDesign 2024 and 2025, from version 19.0 to version 20.0.
    2. Steps to Reproduce the Issue:

    Open Adobe InDesign (versions 19.0 to 20.0).
    Create a new document.
    Insert Arabic text that includes diacritics (tashkeel) on the first letter.
    Apply full justification to the text.
    Use variable text features with the Arabic text.
    Export the document to PDF for printing.
    3. Expected Result:

    The first letter of the Arabic text should appear correctly in the exported PDF, even when it has diacritics and is fully justified.
    4. Actual Result:

    The first letter disappears in the exported PDF when the text is fully justified and the first letter has diacritics.
    The issue does not appear in the InDesign preview; it only occurs after exporting to PDF.

11. Moving pages not working because of "locked" content?

    In 2025 I have a file where I am trying to copy pages into another file and I get a pop up message saying "Cannot modify elements that contain locked content, or are contained by locked content. Please unlock or check out the content and try again." This makes no sense, I have never seen this before. There is NO reason for (as it turns out) having a locked object on a page to preclude me from moving/copying that page, this is isnane.

12. Selecting text on black background doesn't highlight selection

    Version: Adobe Indesign 2025 (20.0)
    The probled occured in a file that works perfectly in Indesign 19.5. However, when I open the same file in 20.0, the error occurs.

    Problem: When I try to edit text on a black background, the selected words aren't highlighted. It happens on some pages but not all. The layers aren't locked.

    How to reproduce:
    - create a master page with a black background
    - create several pages
    - add text boxes with white text in it
    - try to select the text inside the box

    Expected result:
    - selected text is highlighted in white

    Actual result:
    - on some pages, the text highlight isn't visible (although it is actually selected)

13. Problems with punctuation when exporting Hebrew files to epub

    Using Indesign V.19.5 on a Mac OS Sequoia V15.0.1
    
    When exporting a Hebrew document the punctuations move to the beginning of the sentences. I am unable to upload this book to an online shop. Had been in touch with Adobe support in the past but the issue remains.

14. interactive rollovers

    The Latest version of Indesign (20.0) has some bugs with rollover buttons in the EPUB Interactivity preview.

    Some rollover buttons work (buttons with basic changes made in the rollover state ie font/colour).

    Some rollover buttons do not work (buttons with different images placed in each rollover state) THE ROLLOVER STATE ALWAYS SHOWS, THE NORMAL STATE NEVER SHOWS.

    The 'publish online' documents work fine, this bug ONLY occurs with the EPUB interactivity preview in Indesign.

16. Multi-character input from Indic keyboards failing

    Tested in InDesign 2023 18.5.1 and 2024 19.1, on Mac OS Ventura 13.4

    Several Indic keyboard layouts include keys that input a sequence of more than one character as a shortcut for typing the common –ra,, r–, or other syllabic forms that Unicode encodes as a sequence of multiple characters. So, for example, the Mac Sinhala keyboard assigns the following multi-character sequences to individual keys:

    [`] = ්‍ර (rakārānsaya, U+0DCA U+200D U+0DBB)

    [Shift]+[`] = ර්‍ (repaya, U+0DBB U+0DCA U+200D)

    [Shift]+[H] = ්‍ය (yansaya, U+0DCA U+200D U+0DBA)

    But in InDesign only the first character of each sequence is input, the second and third characters are not input. I have tested the same keyboards in multiple other programs, including Adobe programs such as Illustrator, and they work find everywhere except InDesign.

    I have found the same problem with Indic multi-character keys testing the Mac Hindi, Kannada, Sinhala, and Telugu keyboards, so it seems to be a general problem with keyboards that input more than one character from a single keystroke.

17. New Document Preset Bug

    When setting up a New Document, I am entering the custom width/height/margins/bleed settings I need, but as I click out of the fields, the settings revert back to the default Letter preset.

18. slowdown

    Indesign is slow on opening and closing documents. I have reset preferences, installed the app and reinstalled, disabled plugins...everything I can think of to make it better. It's almost unusable. The forums are no help, I've tried the GPU toggle and their suggestions. It just sits there. This video doesn't show the spinning beachball but I get when opening or closing documents. It has destroyed my workflow and speed. What is there to do?

20. Text not active after clicking on pdf markup comment panel

    After clicking on the comment in the pdf comments panel, and applying the comment (or selecting the comment after auto-applying), sometimes I have to click again in the actual text frame to start typing any adjustments i need to make. It would be great if I could just type in the text frame after clicking on the comment, without having to again click in the text frame.
