検索と置換でヒットした文字列の一部分だけスタイル変更したい
正規表現による検索と置換で、検索文字列の一部だけスタイルを変更したい。
＜例＞
検索：…西暦2025年10月9日…
置換：(.?西暦)(\d+)(年)(\d+)(月)(\d+)(日.?)/$2$4$6
で「/」以降に指定した文字列に対しスタイルを充てる。1 vote -
検索と置換で置換文字列のテキストボックスに入力した文字が勝手に変わる
「検索と置換」で正規表現の検索テキストボックスに入力し、置換テキストボックスに検索テキストボックスからコピーした文字をペーストして、置き換えたい文字に修正する。
マウスをテキストボックス外でクリックすると修正前の文字列に戻てしまう。
＜行った操作操作＞
１．検索「Taro: 」と入力
２．「Taro: 」をコピーして置換のテキストボックスにペースト
３．置換で「Taro: 」を「taro:\t~(」に修正
４．ポインターをテキストボックスから外し、クリックすると「Taro: 」に戻る。
文字列が戻るだけで、実行結果は指定した通りになります。
この現象が発生する確率は10％程度です。

"Reverse on Roll Off" doesn't work
The feature "Reverse on Roll Off" does not appear to work.
I have a simple button set up with an On Roll Over event to Play an Animation. The button works as intended.
However, I have the "Reverse on Roll Off" checkbox ticked, presuming it would automatically apply a "Reverse" command to the Animation when the mouse cursor Rolls Off the button.It does not.

(Ver. 20.5) When measuring with the Gap Tool, the measurement remains grayed out and is very difficult to read, especially in dark mode. When measuring with another tool, e.g. the Measure Tool, the boxes with coordinates and measurements activate.

InDesign 20.5 Mac not exporting keywords to PDF
ID is not exporting the File info > Keyword field to a PDF. The type of keyword I'm trying to export is like "OS Version 1.2". This has been workin in ID CS6 for years.
The keyword can't be seen either in Apple Preview in Sequoia, or in UPDF.

I worked on a catalogue for a festival and finished my project, then exported a package as requested by the printer.
Of course, the package included fonts, images, and also an IDML file.The problem is that the export to IDML introduced some errors that ended up in the printed version. My original InDesign file looked perfectly fine, but in the IDML, some objects appeared that were not in the InDesign file at all.

When uploading the share for review file, the upload hung up for a long time. It finally went through, but once I followed the link I get an Error 404: Asset not found in safari.
Have refreshed the link multiple times with no change.

When I launching InDesign
Lately, when I launch InDesign, a dialog box immediately appears that reads: "You cannot reverse this change with the Edit>Unod command. Do you want to continue anyway?" (see screenshot) and you only have two choices: Cancel or OKAY. Being forced to choose OKAY, I'll open a Recent file of some sort, and the stupid dialog box follows me there as well, and sure enough, if I make a change and go to Command Z (I'm on a Mac), the Undo command is ignored and in fact Edit>Undo is greyed out in the menu bar. properties>fill panel expands off page
Indesign Version 20.5 on OSX Tahoe
When inDesign is at the top of the screen (i.e maximum screen size), opening the properties panel and then clicking on fill extends the fill sub menu up the screen, rendering half of the sub menu not visible unless you drag the whole application down. I don't think this is intended UI behaviour (hope not), and it's really frustrating to work with.

notes tool deactivates midway through typing note
Every time I try to add a new note, the window to type the note briefly activates, but midway through typing my note it deactivates and greys out, deselecting both the note and the whole text thread it is part of. To continue typing the note, I need to click back into the text frame and use the arrows to get to the previous or next note to reactivate it. Then it deactivates again a second or two later. Why is it doing this? I am using 20.4.1 x64.

Segoe UI Emoji font visual issue in Indesign Export PDF
I have used some smiley glyphs in my InDesign layout with the "Segoe UI Emoji" font. The smiley glyphs appear in black and white in both the InDesign Glyphs panel and my layout. However, in the exported PDF, they appear in yellow.
Since I am working on a black-and-white layout, this is causing an issue. I am using the latest versions of InDesign 2024 and 2025. I suspect this could be an application bug. Could someone please check and confirm?

Documents appear blank after waking computer from sleep
Anytime I leave documents open, and my computer goes to sleep (even display sleep), nothing is viewable until I close the file and reopen it. I had this problem previously, and in typical Adobe fashion it stopped and has recently come back. Incredibly annoying, and happens every time when documents are left open and the laptop goes to sleep. Seems to mostly happen when connected to a 2nd monitor.

Smart Text Reflow next page - Add Pages Automatically
The Smart Text Reflow to the next page is not performed if there is an empty text frame on the page. Please use the sample file and perform the following steps:
- Assign ParagraphStyles 3 to the "paragraph 3" -> Paragraphs 3 and four go into the overset (undo action)
- Delete the text “paragraph 4,” not the text frame, assign ParagraphStyles 3 -> Paragraph three goes into the next page (undo action)
- Delete the text “paragraph 4” and also the text frame, assign ParagraphStyles 3 -> A new page is created, paragraph 3 begins on the new, next…1 vote -

Version of Adobe InDesign, InCopy or InDesign Server: 20.5 x64 on Windows 10
Steps to reproduce the issues: Right click in the pages panel, select "Insert Pages," and select one of three parent pages.
Expected result: Primary text frame should be in the same location on the newly created page as it is on the parent page.
Actual result: Primary text frame is in a different location on the newly created page. If I reapply the parent page to that newly created page, the text frame moves to the correct location. (I have an object style applied to the primary…1 vote -
[ID-4267886]InDesign cloud document doesn't display Tmeline icon when opened from the Save in Web menu
How to reproduce:
-In Creative Cloud desktop app, locate an InDesign cloud document
-Choose the Open in Web menu
In the resulting page of the file, the Timeline icon doesn't appear (see attached images).
The user will need to go to the file list (by clicking Files, for example), click the file, and then the Timeline icon will appear as expected (see attached images).

WindowServer process consistently shows 60-80% GPU utilization in Activity Monitor when running Adobe InDesign
The problem began specifically after updating from macOS Sequoia to macOS Tahoe. WindowServer should maintain low GPU usage (3-5%) when applications are idle or performing basic tasks, as it did in macOS Sequoia 15.x..When InDesign is opened WindowServer consistently uses 60-80% GPU, leading to:
- Increased power consumption
- Potential thermal throttling
