An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedIn the moment when the PDF export background task creates the actual PDF from the temporary data, Indesign completely freezes for a moment. Could be 10 seconds, could also be 20. Seems to depend on how many pages the document has. This was absolutely not this way in the older CS6 version I used for years before upgrading recently.

We have released InDesign CC2019.0.2 with lot of stability fixes. If you are not on 14.0.2.324 then I would recommend you to upgrade to latest version as it is more robust.
If you still face this issue even after updating, please send the following information to santalwa@adobe.com :
• Error snapshot or video recording of the issue?
• Is(Are) the issue related to a specific document(s)/asset(s)? If Yes, Can you please provide the document(s)/asset(s)? Please package the entire document(To package the document, Go to File → Package)
• Does Trashing preference and cache, please create a backup of Preference and cache before trashing them, help to resolve the issue?Adobe InDesign Team
An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedFirst, this is not a support forum. This kind of problem is usually addressed in the Adobe support forum. Please move your request there.
Second, in the screenshot it shows a ">" next to the error which, when unfolded, could show more information to you and us. Why didn't you make a screenshot with this being unfolded? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedAddition: this only seems to affect bookmarks created from TOC creation. Manually created bookmarks show correctly.

An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedActually, a line should only have a fill colour. Everything else is paradox. A line with a stroke other than 0 and a stroke colour is not a line anymore, it's a rectangle. Unfortunately, when drawing a line, the default fill colour is transparent and you select the stroke colour. Weird!

An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedIsn't that decided in the global colour settings of ID? You can at least chose in what colour space your documents have to be in or will be converted to and you can chose the transparency between RGB and CMYK. There is also a menu item "Convert to profile".
The colour picker seems newer. My CS6 version only has a "Colour" window where I can switch between RGB, LAB and CMYK from the mini menu. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedI would not second this, as I like my ID to remember where I ended up last time. Like Acrobat remembers different paths for "Save as" and "Replace".

An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedWhat you are missing would be something that applies not just for TIFFs, but for all images with white background, including those not supporting transparency. That's not the way to do it. TIFFs support transparency, so when placing a TIFF which doesn't have a white background, Indesign would only show the content. Or you simply remove the white background from the TIFF with a graphics tool. Or there is a clipping path in the TIFF, like you would use it for JPEGs, which cuts off the background.

An error occurred while saving the comment Maik commentedAddition: let users place foot notes into tables (at least this isn't possible in CS6)

This a bug report page, not the support forum. Please move there and add Indesign version and OS type.
This problem is well-know in all versions of Indesign on (at least) Windows. Can have two or more reasons: a) Preflight is activated --> turn off. b) Too much text in concatenated text frames --> split concatenation again.
