This is a macOS10.13 issue, specific for some Intel GPU cards. Apple has fixed(partially) this issue inside macOS10.13.4 released build.
Following are the workaround for resolving this issue.
1) Update your mac machine to latest macOS10.13.4. Here, Apple has fixed this issue to some extent. You will face very less number of rendering issues.
2) Disable GPU preview and set display performance as typical.Once you have updated to macOS10.13.4 .You might still face some rendering issues. Since, Apple has not fixed this issue completely.
Please switch off GPU rendering for these cases and report a separate post for tracking.Sascha Fronczek supported this idea · -

This was an issue with the initial Apple's Ventura release.
It has been addressed in Apple's latest Ventura OS updates (13.1 or later).

An error occurred while saving the comment Sascha Fronczek commentedI have the same problem! When you are in the GPU mode, the colors are without any saturation. It looks like there is an emulation on or something. When you sitch to software rendering, the colors are correct.
Its really critical!
I attached some example.Sascha Fronczek supported this idea · -

As part of the investigation into the cause of this issue, we personally reached out to many of you over email. We have so far heard from only some of you.
Of the responses we have received, the conclusion we’ve come to is:
This issue was intermittent, happened once during the course of work but somehow got resolved and has not happened again. This issue can’t be reproduced now.Over a period of time, this thread has not thrown any fresh clues on why this issue seems to occur randomly for some and then seems to resolve itself. So we’re closing this thread.
However, even though we’re closing this thread, if you again run into this issue any time on a consistent basis, please report it here on UserVoice (in a new thread) with supporting assets like:
A) a test file,
B) detailed steps to replicate the issue
C) any…Sascha Fronczek supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Sascha Fronczek commentedToday, if you buy a new Mac, they have 4–8 cores, but the MHz speed is going down cause the temperatures of each core.
InDesign is running only on 1 core and it will be slower on a newer Mac cause the lower MHz. So please, give InDesign multi core support on OS X.Sascha Fronczek supported this idea · -

We have recently started development work on Convert PDF to INDD. Going forward, we will keep adding more functionality and refining it.
The feature is available as a Beta feature in InDesign 19.5 Beta version, available via the CCD app.
Note: For now, it is available only when InDesign's install language is English (North America or International).
Please provide us feedback on this Beta feature. Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Hello, there is a annoying bug, that drives me crazy.
If you setup the UI-size to position 1 in the preferences, InDesign can’t remembers the window size correctly (see. video).
When I’m in the presentation mode (shift w) and after I left it, the app window of InDesign is resizing small (or another wrong size).
If you change the UI-size back to position 2 (standard setting) this bug doesn’t happening. I checkt it again and again.
And it only happens when the two 27" 4K displays are connected.
I’m working on a MacBook Pro 16" M1 Pro in MacOS Ventura.
I also cleared the cache and preferences, deleted InDesign and restarted the machine many times.
I attached a short video and screenshots.
Best
Sascha
