Hi, these steps are for CC 2015. Some folders aren’t existing anymore. So, you can’t use this to solve the problem.

Hey,

After a while, my MacBook Pro fan is running high and in the activity window, CEPHtmlEngine Helper is running between 90 and 100%. I’ve to kick the process stop it. First, I thought its Photoshop, because I read it on google, but when I analyzing the process in the activity window, it shows, that this is caused of InDesign. -

Today, if you buy a new Mac, they have 4–8 cores, but the MHz speed is going down cause the temperatures of each core.
InDesign is running only on 1 core and it will be slower on a newer Mac cause the lower MHz. So please, give InDesign multi core support on OS X.Sascha Fronczek supported this idea ·

Same here:
New MacBook Pro 2019 and the performance is pure. It’s like 24 frames instead of 60.
I tried also an eGPU but same thing.
I deleted the InDesign cache and preferences but nothing. Also a reinstall doesn’t work for me.Photoshop and Illustrator working fast and smooth.
Maybe InDesign has to be rewritten cause the code is too old. I don’t know. It’s frustrating …

I have the same issue: when I copy something from an InDesign document and paste it to another InDesign document with different color profile settings, InDesign crashes immediately.
