InDesign 16.0 saves Converted files in last used folder, not containing folder
On Catalina OSX (10.15.7), InDesign 2021 (16.0) saves a Converted file to the last used Finder folder, rather than the folder the document is contained in.
Happens with 'Save As...', as well as saving InCopy assignments.
The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update of InDesign – version 16.0.1.
Please update to this version to get the fix.

THIS IS NOT FIXED!! INDESIGN 20.0
The only "fix" is a work-around, then it happens again. You have to clear the cache in Indesign which deletes ALL your preferences, saved exports, etc. Then, 3-6 months later it comes back abnd you have to do it again!!! Windows 11 Pro Indesign 20.0 and 19.4 -

Still not working with idml and pdf. Please, for the love of god, stop changing this functionality. I am working with very many files very quickly, I can't paranoically keep copy-pasting the source folder address every time i move around from order to order, file to file. It's basic functionality.
Also, the filenames break if they contain "." anywhere but at the end. Its basic functionality, fix it, we pay you per subscription way too much for what you're "updating" from version to version. You're generating more malfunction than useful features. We're paying you to further break the program basically. -

Still not working for me. Uses last used folder when exporting pdf, keep having to move documents around. Going back to 2020 version.

This is still a problem for me. New MacBook Pro with the MI-chip. InDesign 2021 (16.0.2) saves an Exported file to the last used folder, rather than the folder the document is contained in. This is incredibly frustrating for my work process, and crazy that this wasn't caught in QA testing. I just spend 1+hour in the adobe live chat with no solution other than to post a new comment on this uservoice page.

16.0.1 is still not showing up in my Updates on CC. I'm on Mojave 10.14.6. Do I have to enable auto update to make this happen or what?
