as you might noticed, we prefer "Satz-Feineinstellungen" instead of "Blocksatz" because "Blocksatz" does not describe the panel correctly. An error occurred while saving the comment Rainer Klute commentedThumbs up for Kai's support! "Satz-Feineinstellungen" is my favourite!
("Absatzeinstellungen" would be too uncertain. Don't even think about this. :-)

The magic of InDesign’s effects all happens via Adobe’s transparency technology, which allows us to blend colors and detail from different objects. In order for it to all work there has to be a consistent color space for InDesign to use when it blends colors. This is called the Transparency Blend Space and it’s really important that you understand it in order to get the most out of InDesign’s effects. When we use transparency effects, InDesign compares different objects and combines their colors and detail. In order for objects to be blended, they have to be in the same color space. So when you apply transparency, InDesign converts everything on a spread to the Transparency Blend Space, regardless of whether that object is actually involved in the effect. And it’s important to note that when we say things are converted, we don’t mean that InDesign alters your placed files; they…

https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/fixed-issues.htmlAn error occurred while saving the comment Rainer Klute commentedSo this is the second fix which is not mentioned in the CC app?
A few days ago, all major CC apps got an update, but not InDesign. Why didn't you make the two patches to one (small) update?
What's the problem to think as a user? To make his/her experience as easy as possible? -

Hello All,
Following up on the comments stating that the issue is yet not fixed, we did our investigation and found that, the issues being called out in the comment section, though maybe relevant but are different than the one for which this thread was originally created.
This particular thread caters to a very specific case which has been fixed in the last update of InDesign.
If you continue to face performance related issues with InDesign, we sincerely request you to create a separate thread so that we can categorize the performance related issues and address them completely.
In addition to track the performance issues effectively, it will also enable us to reach out to you in a organised manner when we investigate into each category of performance issues. We are extremely sorry for the troubles you are facing with InDesign and we are determined to resolve them as efficiently…
An error occurred while saving the comment Rainer Klute commentedDear Abhinav, dear Adobe,
it looks like that the "slow reaction time" is also a problem within this uservoice forum. Can you please answer to all the complains that were made after you labeled the issue as "fixed"?As a first step we would be happy to read from you something like "Thank you for all your comments. We see that the problem is not fixed for every user so we continued to find a solution with the next version of InDesign."
Best regards,

Dear All,
Now you can set fonts/typeface directly in InDesign while creating PDF forms. This feature is now available in latest InDesign CC version. Please upgrade to the latest release.
Thanks
Abhinav AgarwalRainer Klute supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Rainer Klute commentedTo be able to set the fonts/typeface is not useful at all.
Please add the information that the chosen font will not be displayed in the PDF if the PDF is viewed on a device where this font is not installed.
Or restrict the choice of fonts to the ones that are installed on most devices like Arial, Courier etc. -

Dear All,
This feature is now available in latest InDesign CC version. Please upgrade to the latest release.
Thanks
Abhinav AgarwalAn error occurred while saving the comment Rainer Klute commentedAs mentioned before it should be possible to have the footnote just under the table – or even better and logically: in the footer of the table.
It's not useful to have the table footnote at the bottom of the textframe where the table is placed. An error occurred while saving the comment Rainer Klute commentedSorry Abhinav, but "insert footnotes in (sic!) tables" is NOT "available in beta builds".
What I see there is that the footnote text is added to the regular footnotes section on the page but not directly under the table. There is no use at all for this solution. Please take it away from the next release and rebuild it.

https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/fixed-issues.htmlAn error occurred while saving the comment Rainer Klute commentedSome comments are not shown at the right place in InDesign and if I "accept" them, the change is made at the wrong place.
Sometimes replacing some characters adds a new paragraph. With this the whole function is useless because I have to control everything in Acrobat, too.
