InDesign 18.0 (2023): still having issue where certain weights of fonts won't load/work (other weights/styles in the family do work).
The only way I've been able to solve this is to revert to version 17.1 (had same issue with 17.2).

paragraph style options "Bullet or Number position"
Hello,
I am contacting you regarding a problem with the new version of InDesigns’ (version 18.0).
The problem is that using the "Bullet or Number position" in “Paragraph style options” to change the size of a column in a table, results in the text disappearing.Please check out the PDF and the video (in comment) below for further explanations.

Je me demande pourquoi la lecture PDF peut être faite à partir d'un fichier AI, alors que ce n'est pas le cas sur indesign. ce serait pratique pour le travail à distance. il faut que le fichier PDF soit à jour, alors que le fichier indesign a pu évoluer.

Indesign quits after mac goes to sleep
Have to open In-Design (18.1) again (not sure if it's an actual crash) after the Mac (mini - Ventura (13.2.1) goes to sleep after an hour. Other Adobe programs don't do this.
Upon opening InDesign, it won't automatically open the Properties and Tool floating pallets even though it is marked to open under the Window drop down menu and that I've set it up that way before opening or creating a new file. The other floating pallets selected will show.

日本語縦組みの後注で、欧文が意図せずに回転してしまいます。正常に表示されていても、いつのまにか回転しています。また、スクリーンには正常に表示されていても、PDFに書き出すと回転していることが多々あります。

For some reason, Liza Cap Pro is not loading - it is showing it is active, but not showing as a valid font. Please help.

dropped math characters in imported eps files
InDesign CC 18.1 x64 sometimes drops characters in math imported as EPS files on export to PDF. This is similar to an earlier problem that appeared after an update when none of the EPS files would print. This problem seems to correct itself when the file is re-exported, but not always. Editing the imported EPS with MathType also seems to correct it. The file missing characters and the correct file are uploaded for comparison.

"Paste into" not working in Layout Split View
When the layout view is split and you copy something and try to "Paste into", the option doesn't appear. You have to exit split view and toggle it again so it works.

The pantone solid color books are missing with the latest 18.1 update. I have to use Indesign 2021 version now to do my work. Please fix!
please add back the pantone solid color books to indesign. It's the most needed pantone set and I can't use Indesign 2022 until this is fixed.

'manage extensions' not in 'help' dropdown
The extensions option is not showing in the "help" menu. When I go to the Help Menu there is no "Manage Extensions" option. Please provide troubleshooting steps as I need to load a local extension into inDesign. When adding a list to a Right to Left Paragraph, tab leader disappers
InDesign (Middle East) 18.1.0.51
In a Right to Left Text Frame type a few words in a Right to Left Paragraph direction, following by tab with a period leader definition and then type a any any number so you will get dots between the last word and number (like in TOC). See in the attached image. Selceet one of the list options (numbering or bullets) to see the tab leader disaapers.
Numbers or Bullets should be added at the begining without change the rest of the text.

Extensions option not showing in "Window" menu
The extensions option is not showing in the "Window" menu. When I go to Edit-> Menu I can see it as a visible option, but it does not show up. Please provide troubleshooting steps as I need to load a local extension into inDesign.

Hyperlink bug: hyperlink format is spilling over to other paragraphs
There is a bug with the Hyperlink format in my Incopy Version 16.4.1 running on Mac OS 12.6.3:
1) I am inserting a Hyperlink in my Incopy document. It is then shown in blue, underlined, Times New Roman. See screenshot.
2) Next I am formatting it as "ohne" Zeichenformat (German) in order to have it in the same format as the other text.
3) I close the file (check in) and open it again (check out).
4) Suddenly, the remainder of the the text is formatted in Hyperlink format. This is a bug.1 vote -
Duplicated AllPageItems collection when nesting Table inside another Table
1 create new blank document, 1 page, no primary textframe
2 creatte empty TextFrame,
3 insert Table [2x2],
4 insert another Table [2x2] to the 1st table - into 1st cell,

Japanese paragraph composer adds space after
Issue: After changing paragraph composer to Japanese Paragraph Composer, text shows space after larger than setting. Space-after persists when set to 0 (zero).

Table of Contents Entry Character Styles
Table of contents entries (subheading styles in chapters) has a character style applied to it. When I generate TOC, the character styles and anchor markers if any also shows up in generated Table Of Contents. There should be an option to bypass the anchor markers and Character styles. Instead there should be an option given to add a new char style to the TOC entries, like there is for page no and between entry and page no.
In attached file the underline is getting generated everytime I update the TOC. I have to manually remove the underline. Neither GREP style…4 votes
